@MrOwwl Well.. I grew up in the 70's and... believe it or not... we had VIDEO games. The first game I had was called pong... then Atari 2600.. This commercial actually ran in the Philadelphia area in 1979. It is real.
i built one of these with a 13 inch tv around 1990... it worked but the room had to be totally dark... main problem nowhere near bright enough... picture was pretty bad.. what do you expect for 40 bucks. they sent you a plastic freznel lense and instructions how to build the box around your screen.. it took a about an hour..
They tried selling these on the internet just a few years ago- didn't know this concept had been around that long. Notice that they NEVER show you what the finished product looks like.
