Scrubs i my favorite show ever and it is truly amazing i <3 the actors and this episode is beautiful and mixed with this beautiful song it made me cry
im commenting on this 4 th 3rd time now.....ive seen this episode sooooo many times im still pretty close 2 tearing up every single time....thts y scrubs is wayyyyyyy better than house.....u get a connection with the characters tht u sorely lack in house.....another reason is house is like the perfect hospital no1 dies....scruns is more realistic....I LOVE SCRUBS!!!!!
the thing i love about scrubs is how only the real fans find this sa.d i showed this to my friend who has never seen scrubs, and she didn't appreciate it. I thin it's the saddest TV Moment because i've seen Cox grow over the years. Scrubs has developed some serious characters and relationships between the viewer and the characters.
this has got 2 be the saddest momment in scrubs history....dr.cox breaks down and lets his emotionless wall break...its saddening...the real sad part is stuff like this happens alot....plz come back scribs!!!!
wow awsome episode and scence i think that was jhon's ( Dr.coxs) best work yet.. he in my view is the best charector on the show and my alltime fav its sad that the show ended and i hope they come back
the writers of scrubs are genius.. to make a character like dr cox that is so funny and so shallow then actually make him a multi-dimensional character. it's genius, none of us ever expected this to come from a character like perry
I can't think of any other tv show that can have me bent over with laughter one min and the next close to tears, prob the best tv series ever what great acting just a shame zach braff doesn't want to continue after series 9
package dont comment on a video of a show you dont like. if you dont like people getting emotional over a show (which is filmed in a real hospital and some episodes are based on real life events) it doesnt matter. keep that shit to yourself nobody cares, and you end up just looking like an idiot yourself.
by the way apparently most doctors that watch scrubs say it is the show that is most like a real life hospital. bill lawrence said so in one of the dvd extras
dragon823 is right if you dont like it package keep your comments to yourself and go away, also this episode was based on a real story(if you listen to the audio commentary) 3 patients needed organs and got it from a male patient who died of rabies(a bat bit him) the organs were sent out to 3 diffrent hospital not the same hospital but the patients did end up passing.
PackageSeverance, you obvisouly know nothing? I guess your little tiny brain dont know a shit, really. This moment, is based on a reall accident, so dont come here and claim that it's fake and stuffs. And between, guess whos the idiot? YOU ARE, yes you are..
Are you going to write the same stupid ass comments on every video of this episode? Seriously.. we know it's scripted, due to the fact that its a fucking tv show. Stop calling people idiots because they think it's sad and a great story line. They are right. This scene is meaningful to people who have lost people in hospitals before. So shut the fuck up.
I agree with Allie! u are the idiot if u think we dont know it's fake. SOME people have a heart, plus an imagination, which i doubt u have eitherof. So do us all a favor and stop with these stupid "idiotic" comments.
PackageSeverance, the first series was filmed on a stage, for seasons 2 and onwards they filmed on a REAL hospital, there not props there the real thing and scrubs was started when an intern wrote about his day and then edited it for TV and then sent it to become a TV show it's based on alot of real things so your a moron for guessing that 'cos if ye actually looked you'd of found all i just said from series two bonus disc
i want in on this! my friend linked me this, but seriously if there is no context than its very hard to get emotional. my friend has very good taste in shows and writing, and i trust his judgment fully, so i'm sure the clip doesn't do the actual episode justice. oh, and the song is fucking awful.
Wait I found out who the other person was in the Season 5 comentary it was Director John Miche that was the person who was with John C. for the My Lunch Comentary.
This poor man has been through so much. He makes me laugh, he makes me mad and he makes me cry. I can't believe no award was given to McGinley for such an awesome performance.
I agree WTF i see so many shows get emmy's that they do not desreve but this is probly the best performence that I have seen on TV in a while and I do mean a while.
Great coment John C. Rules I remeber hearing on a Season Five Comentary with John C. and somebody else I can't remeber that the reason why he has his arms around his stomach was from a real life expereince with his Son Max in the Neo Natle Unit when he was 7 weeks old *Max has down syndrome* anyways John C. use to do the arm around the chest thing because when he was really worried he felt like his organs and such where just going to fall straigh out of his body. Very touching stuff.
I was reading articles on McGinley and his son Max, very touching stuff. John C. is a great man. He can act, he's a decent singer and he's a great father. In the article I was reading, he does SO many things with his son to help him do well as he grows older. John is so sweet (even if he has awesome eyes that scare me).
Agreed John Rules I whish there where more people like him he does not do it for publicty he does it to help he does not hide anything what he keeps privet he keeps privet what he shares he shares and yeah I have to itmit to a suprise he is a nice singing from what I heard from my musical (The Rant Song) and yeah his eyes are awesome great smile too.
Wow how could I forgot his smile!? Kevin Costner may be a great actor, but McGinley is *really* my hero. I just wish I could change my screen name thing (and I have really known who McGinley was then).
this is the best scene in television history, especially if you're a good fan and you're in touch with the characters, makes it really effective, this kicked arse.
@Category5Andrew the whole series from this point onwards deserves an award too, truly amazing, know 1 of them is called "my fallen idol", and when dr. cox returns he's so scared that he can't make a decision to diagnose a patient, truly quite a gifted actor to say the least though
You're right tehjimmehs, that scene was so funny! I love scotch, it is the purest, most cultured drink in existence. To see Mr. "Appleteeny" J.D. try and gulp an entire mouth full put me in hysterics when I saw it! LOL
Scrubs Rocks! Funny and Emotional at the same time.
I love this show and the episode after this has one of the funiest moments. JD walks in to talk to Cox and after he says stuff, he takes a sip of scotch and Perry looks over and is like, "...You don't drink scotch." and then Jd just spits it all out, I found it pretty funny anyhow
this and episode 14 my old lady are my favorite episodes cus how sadd they are but this episode really makes you reflect on life and i cried for hours when i watched this video on the real show and i just saw the season finale and it is really good
Also i for got to say, he didn't need to give his friend the organs right away, he could've waited a month for another organ and his friend would've lived
This is my favourite episode of scrubs, its brilliant how they can go from one extreme to the other, from being so funny and then boom!! it hits you with the sadness, its such a big impact, quality
