Although the visuals are better than with MLB2K11, I believe the mechanics are not. MLB2K11 had lots of improvement done to it AS well. Fielding works great too, with few exceptions.

Why on earth does anyone find MLB 10 better? Really? Everything that is in 10 is in 11 yet 11 improves on 10 in several areas. If you don't like the analog pitching then they have the 2 modes from 10(which both of them were terrible).

the controls in this game are beautiful once you figure them all out, this game is nearly perfect, i think they should take the year off in 12, we can play this game for at least 2 years, but i have never played the online so i dunno how good that part works.
@mcooke47 to pick off, use L2 and press Square for first, "X" for second, and Circle for third. it basically switches the base buttons from when your fielding the ball when it's hit into play. no sweat though, it took me awhile to pick it up. look in the game manual to learn different pick offs too. like fake throws and a deceptive move.

I dont own this game(mlb 2009 the show), but can you turn off the analog hitting and pitching controls and put them to classic mode like in earlier years? anyone.

i dont give a shit if MLB 11 the show is an 8.0, my opinion its 10/10. i originally chose socom 4 over this, but being a HUGE baseball fan, imma return socom 4 for my 60 dollars back, and gets this with that 60 i get back :D

The player looks are better this year. No screen tearing. Excellent gameplay. Cool parks & shadows. Best baseball simulation hands down is The Show. It's re-donk-ulous...

@josh666666ify the mlb should revoke 2k sports licence to make baseball games cause they suck at it. it's unfair that the only good baseball game is an exclusive title for playstation consoles. its bad enough that i don't have my psp anymore:( give the licence to ea. mvp baseball ruled

#business.... bu 8.0 is kinda underrating it and really being nit-picky. THe biggest thing this game needs to change is the audio commentary... vasgersian and crew need to go. Karros didn't really make an impact...
