Krishna must have been there indeed! I can feel his work in this Kirtan display. Whatever our God fate, Bhakti (devotion) is the most powerful path one can use to reach the God of his heart and his love. Then, when this Divine union happens, you don't need anything else anymore because you are fulfilled with bliss and love. This is what Pure Mysticism is all about.

ISKCON is Brahma-Madva-Gaudiya Sampradaya. It is one of the four bonafide Sampradayas described in Sri Padma Purana. Srila Prabhupada's teachings which are based on Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapuran are as pure and authentic as it can possibly be.

Labels are not important in the Vedic culture, but by actions Vedas judge the quality.

Iskcon is based in vedas and it has taken all the reference from vedas so one should have unshakable faith in Iskcon.

Actually, ISKCON should be based on the Vedas. But it is not always so. The truth should be the authority, not otherwise. Devotees are supremely independent, because we all know we have Krsna in our hearts, and our own loving relationship with Him. No institution can take this away or control it. If an institution is fully based on the principles given by Srila Prabhupada, then yes, it is a real ISKCON. Otherwise, we should question authority when not displaying proper attitude or following SP.

Krishna is not a divine being.He is just a character in an epic story written by a person.Anyway they have determined to convert as many Christians possible to Hinduism.I have seen what they eat.They get the best food to eat in the temple when many poor people are dying outside of hunger.Nothing can happen just by chanting Hare Krishna.Work among the poor if you want to please GOD.

It is like a laymen stating that electricity does not come from the powerplant, and states it as if it is an absolute truth. What you're saying is that you don't believe Krishna is a divine being, which would be more appropriate. But that would be just your belief then, wouldn't it?

Unless you can prove your statements, you are only being silly and no one is taking you seriously. Why don't you try what we do and see for yourself if it is right or wrong?

you are partially right as krishna is a character of epic but its not about converting. you can always be christian and enjoy the chantings. and a lot can happen chanting hare krishna, it gives you relief from stress, atleast it works for me. and as far as food goes, it may be good at some places but then also u never have to pay for food in temples, atleast it happens in india..

@Mpaul21 All Hindu temples have a system of prasad which is basically food distributed among anyone lining up at the temples door. This includes poor, rich, middle class, animals too.

See the point is that Hinduism is that spread love and good values so that every person rich or poor does charity and feeds the poor, not just the temple or association. That way only we will have world peace. And Krishna is a true being and carbon dating has proved this person to be from around 12000 BC.

If all the people create a relationship with other people then...the problem of foods will disapear! And the True Love is in the Maha-Mantra. If you aren't sure chant it, for an experiment. Do it without prejudice o bad attitude. Simply chant a round of japa. Test it, please :)
