Very good very underrated film. Much better than some of the more famous spy movies. Well paced and intelligent, wish they still made movies as engaging as this.
Interesting choice of casting...Brosnan as the cold, professional agent villain....I guess he wanted to appear against audience expectations/familiarity. Caine's always reliable in this kind of role. Who was the director?: can't read his credit in the video. I think it was someone well established.
Ichiro Ozawa who is a Japanese politician is going to let Japan be subordinate to China. The policy that the Japanese Democratic Party carries out resembles Plan Aurora closely.
Yeah Pierce Brosnan is really Ice Cold in this film, he was telling studios, he could show us a new modern Bond. I really like the scene where he shall I say, more or less rejects a woman's advances, and she was a stunner too, great spy thriller.
Just look at Joanna Cassidy at 0:58. Is she a sexy fucking bitch or what, even though she was about 42 when this movie was made in 1987. I have this movie on DVD, and there's a scene where Pierce Brosnan is fucking Joanna, and I jerk off everytime I watch it. I wish I were Brosnan!!
why was litvenyenko poisoned with polonium in this country... polonium is part of the triggering mechanism in an atomic bombmmm some questions need to be asked
This is a great movie, (but probably only if you like the spy genre). Some great performances from a host of experienced british actors. Well worth a watch if you like a thriller.
Not a great movie - for the simple reason that it is the kind of novel that translates uncomfortably into film. This is mainly because if the fiendishly complex nature of the plot. Would explain at greater length what I mean but lack of space prevents me.
Great film. Proper, British spy adventure.

@gunjanup Some agents are so good they can speak with an English accent. Though I agree. He looks 100% British. Though born in Ireland!

In the olden days the bodies of condemned prisoners were hung up ina public and left to rot.
Whoever went to trouble to have Litvenyenko rubbed out wanted to send a message to anyone else who pissed them off.
