  • P.S. These announcers (Stanley, King, Rickles, Taylor and Bozeman) also handled the opens for "NewsCenter4" on KNBC (Channel 4) in Los Angeles . . . and were thanked on-air by anchor John Schubeck before he read the first news item of the night.

  • The announcer for this particular open was another NBC Burbank announcer, Donald Rickles . . . he, Bozeman, Don Stanley, Peggy Taylor and (prior to 1977) Eddy King all alternated as announcers for NBC's movie shows. In earlier years, doubtless NBC viewers would have also heard Arch Presby (pre-1972) and Frank Barton (pre-'74) rotating with Stanley, Rickles and King on "SNATM" and on other nights.

  • This is the opening title used from 1976 through '78. Sounds like NBC's West Coast announcer, Victor Bozeman...at :25, you would have seen a few brief scenes from the evening's presentation, and the faces of the stars appearing in it {"'Two Hours at a Train Station'.....a 'World Premiere Movie'- starring Redd Foxx.....William Conrad....and Barbara Eden"}.

  • This was used from circa 1975 to 1978?

  • @whattheheck1000 Me creo que eso comenció en pierto de 1974 y fue usado hasta el 1978

  • @25phillycheesesteak Okay, 1974-1978.. Thank you!
