Now that I think about it, didn't Zidane equip a Silk Shirt in the last video? Why was he only taking 24 damage from Fire? o.o

Normally does ~16 IIRC. But yeah, that was stupid of me to have it equipped :P

I guess it's just hard to believe that weakness only gets a 50% damage boost... too much Pokemon? Or, maybe I'm just used to Vivi taking horrible rape damage from fire spells. X)

Oh man!!! I finally cleared this, I've been resetting for 3 hours trying to make it out alive with the dagger!

First 2 turns of my trance were Stealing the Dagger and a potion, I barely scraped by.

random battles really pee u off sometimes espeically wheen you are trying to get excalibur2 good job 1whoistornpart for just making it in the time limit.

Do you have a Turbo controller? It seems you can skip the text faster than I can.

No, just a turbo thumb. You can skip text faster than I do here by hitting [] and X with both thumbs.

Oh man random encounters suck sometimes.. :/ :P Not much you can do about them.. 7777 Stars nice job!

Yeah, I've done this part of the challenge on four separate occasions and never had that much trouble getting out. I did make it out without a battle one time while recording, but Zidane took so long to hit Trance in the boss battle that it was actually slower than this one.

Yeah I read that in the description.. :) I don't get random encounters there often either. :/ Usually IF i do get a random encounter there it is when the cameraview changes when you jump over the little water stream.. Anyways you are doing a great job no one can blame you for the encounters your still awesome good luck. ^ ^
