I'm a guy but I have naturally bushy eyebrows if I dont pluck them. It hurts too much I will have to do this. Not thin but enough so I dont look like a caveman :)
@cutesmileheart this particular wax comes in a metal container so I wouldnt suggest microwaving, I got the warmer for it at sally beauty I believe it was less than $10
@AHHRealTempest its a post waxing oil, removed excess wax, and it cools them and helps them close... I have never had a problem with breakouts from it.. but you can only do it when you use hard wax because of the way hard wax behaves on the skin.
i've never waxed my eyebrows before but i do agree with taking hair off the top. each of my eyebrows are shaped differently so i kinda have to do it in order to get them a bit more even. i might try waxing sometime. didn't seem too terribly horrible. thanks for the tutorial.
@macismycrack In your opinion, can a person wax their own legs (and do a decent job)?? I had my lower legs waxed one time (after I reached the appropriate blood alcohol level, hahaha). But I'm not sure if the physical mechanics would be an issue...like holding the skin taut while pulling the strips and all that jazz?
@LynneDiann82 I used to do it myself quite a bit... the hardest is the back on your own... you might want to have a girl friend over and just do eachother then you can both get it all!
I usually tweeze my eyebrows, but I have this peach fuzz stuff that is hard to get off, would waxing take it off? Whenever i put my highlight on my browbone i can see the fuzz.
ive never had my eyebrows waxed. i dont know why i just dont bother. but i really should get em done im 20 freakin years old i should have nice eyebrows lol. but im too OCD to do em myself
@allaboutcars19 I would start with just some shaping... I wouldnt take a ton off right away but I have been doing mine for YEARS!! even if you go to a salon they are usually pretty good about directing you... it is easiest to get them done the first time and tweeze them to maintain on your own... maybe get them done once a year and do your own in between!
@macismycrack oh no that would hurt threading yourself? haha i go to the salon but if you do a video and it doesnt look like your torturing your self then i might join you lol

When you wax your eyebrows you're opening up the pores, so why would you put oil on an open pore? Wouldn't that just cause a bad breakout?

So whats the best method if you have never done anything to your brows and you want to fix them. Think brook sheild's brows back in the 80's. lol
