  • man i just wish to see that in real bar you know singing all together like old friends:D

  • This level...was the bane of my existence when I was working on getting the Perfect Score or Gold Star or whatever it was for completing a mission perfectly. It was just so long. The night I finally did it was easily one of my best moments in gaming.

I might go dig this game out now.

  • @bloodfyr I thought Under the Radar was a lot worse. That level seemed like it would never end. :P

  • @bloodfyr ha, i just happened to read your comment as i was finishing the level, was thinking 'im gonna have to do this again and again, i know gold star will be a pain' and i somehow got it first go by accident! i have no idea how lol. i love this game and the bar scene, where the music starts playing and they all sing along. It was so mind blowing at the time!

  • Thats my flounder!

  • 3:20 - 5:50 epic scene, but what do i say, the whole game is epic, too. its a game which everyone with a good taste should have played.

  • This one i easy to play to get a gold medal

I love the scene with the germans at the golden lion xD

  • 4:00 ENGLISH PLEASE! hahahaha this was one of the best games ever on the ps2.

  • @raccoonman14 my german isnt fluent but the guard on the right is telling you that you should be out in the streets (patrolling) and then they both tell you "hau ab!" which means to "cut off" or beat it/get lost

  • This is the best game ever!

  • i have this game on ps2 i dont play it anymore but i remember when i was little i fuckin loved this game! it was probably the funnest vid game ever!

  • @crazyfuzz2 I still play Frontline from time to time. Its gameplay hasn't aged well, but as an old-school WWII shooter, it's one of the best. :D

  • I still have never beaten this game without cheats

I think the farthest I've gotten was the level after Arnhem Knights and then I would get pissed off and stop playing

  • @speeps84 on track

  • Everytime I arrived at the golden lion, I quickly tried to throw a grenade inside after opening the door. unfortunately it never worked :(

  • @Twestination That's probably for the best. Chances are, if you threw a grenade into a room with about twenty Germans, the game would crash.

  • i have a ps3. i have MW2, MoH (also MOH FL cause i bought the limited edition) and... well, i had a ps2 too. And i can say that this game is the MOST stressful game of all!!!! I like hard games and stressfull games but... man, MoH FL is so fucking hard! definitely, the most stressfull game of all, not even the modern games are harder

  • @angelustt Let me guess; you played the game on Hard on your first time through the game. If so, I really can't say I feel sorry for you. That's what happens when you assume your Call of Duty "skills" will help you in old-school games. You must not play many old games if you think Frontline is the hardest game of all time.

Trust me, this is nothing compared to the games on the Sega Genesis. Those games are "hard".

  • @angelustt if u play this on ps2 use these cheats and do hard, u will zip through it when u use them:

    unlimited ammo: o,L2,box,L1,select,R2,triangle,select

    god mode: box,L1,o,R1,triangle,L2,select,R2

  • This game is purely impossible on hard, at least on ps3 it is :( could you make a walkthrough for it?

  • @Vrandom0213 It's possible. You have to remember that this is an old-school game and that it isn't as forgiving as current-generation shooters.

Frontline is a game of memorization; The only way to master the game is to play the levels repeatedly and remember the locations of all the enemies.

I will probably make a walkthrough of Frontline on Hard next year, but I don't have time to do it at the moment.

Just keep what I said in mind and you'll be fine.

  • This level is far by the hardest in the game. I must've tried it about 65 times now.

  • @gstA12345678 It gets worse. Most of the levels in this game are hard on the Normal difficulty, and they can be REALLY hard on the actual Hard difficulty.

That's a serious problem for the people who play this game for the first time. Many assume since they're really good at current-generation shooters they'll just blow through this game on the hardest difficulty, but that isn't true. Frontline is an old-school shooter with a hardcore mindset. :D

  • @spicyechidna94 And this game is glitchy too. I got to the plaza where you have to take the uniform, and then I'm unable to move around! Had to start from beginning -_-

  • @gstA12345678 Frontline is rather glitchy, yes. But that's part of its charm.

The main reason that a lot of modern gamers are turned off by this game is its difficulty. Frontline is a frustrating, unforgiving game at times. It hails from the days when regenerating health and checkpoints were uncommon conventions in shooters. I actually liked games better when they did not have those things, to be honest. It was more challenging that way.

  • @spicyechidna94 No checkpoints is pretty crazy thing in shooters nowadays. Have you played CoD:Classic? That game was a lot easier on veteran than MoH:FL on hard. Though there was no health regaining or health packs. And shit, MoH:FL just froze to the same place. I'm cursed! :(

  • @gstA12345678 That's strange. The only time the game freezes on me is when I take the disk out. Maybe you need to clean your disk.

Call of Duty Classic is also a fairly difficult game to complete these days, too, but I don't think Frontine is as difficult as that game. In CoD, you die almost instantly if you get cornered by an enemy, but you can escape similar situations in Frontline with less trouble.

  • @spicyechidna94 This game came with my copy of Medal of Honor 2010, so I have no disc. Maybe Danger Close (who remade MoH:Fl for PS3) didn't code the game very well... And CoD:Classic, I know that if you give a little while for enemy to target you, you're dead. But there's checkpoints, they're really helpful.

  • @gstA12345678 I wouldn't be surprised. Danger Close did a piss-poor job on the main game of MoH 2010 itself, so I have no doubt in my mind that the PS3 version of Frontline is broken. I actually just played Frontline HD for the first time today, and I can safely say that it's a half-assed port of the PS2 version. If you have a PS2 and a standard-defintion TV lying around, do yourself a favor and buy a copy of the original version of Frontline. It's a lot better.

  • @spicyechidna94 I have one SD TV and PS2 lying somewhere there. Might buy MOH:FL some day...

  • @spicyechidna94 Oh, and I just did the Golden Lion.

  • what difficulty level u use?

  • I always remembered that when I played this on PS2, the German with the Panzerschreck launcher would automatically die on his own 75% of the time for some reason. Plus, he was the only German you saw with a mustache in this entire game.

  • He didn't automatically die. He actually discharged one of his rockets into the wall next to him, killing himself in the process. That kind of thing is common in the earlier Medal of Honor games.

I can't explain the completely random death of a certain enemy in the following level, though. You're on your own for that one.

  • @spicyechidna94 Lol, please do tell! It's been a while since I've actually played this so I don't remember exactly. Is it a German at a podium by any chance....?

  • Yes, he was at a podium. If you don't go downstairs into the meeting area and ignore the German with the Panzerschrek at the podium, he will yell at you as you run across the raised walkway and subsequently fire a rocket at it, destroying it in the process. However, if you go downstairs and run right up to him, he will say something into the microphone and then fall over and die. I have no idea how he dies, but that's what happens.

    I love this game.

  • they ca't fight for shit

  • this game was waaaaay ahead of its time, and i loved every second of it, will there be a remake for the 360? if not im getting a ps3 lmfao

  • GAH!

The alarms, I remember them as I ALWAYS used to trigger them lol

  • I love this!

Although the quality isnt great this video is really good!

  • I liked when the German with the helmet passes out after. You won't find that in Call of Duty!

  • If you jump on the drunk germans head in the bottem bar you get stuck in it!

  • Oh god this game brings back many memories... I loved this game so dear... brings a tear to a teenagers eye...

  • @MrTechGuy1995

:) miss it so much, sometimes i wish i never sold my ps2.

  • @JAMamation

Its coming to PS3 very, very soon

  • @Ps3GamerVideos special edition of new moh :D

  • this is a great game for how old it is.....to bad the driver died

  • this mission was the shit but i get into the game so i fealt bad or the driver who got owned by the rocket launcher. he cooda had fun at the bar lol

  • He missed one hell of a show! :D

  • I LOVE THE FIRST PART SO MUCH!

  • funnyest part is when they fight ahahahahaha!!

  • the bar is the best part of the game

  • I think this lvl is worst in MOHF. Yard by Yard is best!!! Ps. I play with normal difficulty.

  • this mission , yard by yard, and arnham knights were the shit :D and also imma give you a thumbs up because i love this game so much :)

  • Thanks! :D

  • @Sharmanmobile

arnhem knights was an amazing mission! wish they still made games like this :')

  • I always try to shoot that panzerschreck but its not possible. This lvl is maked like that, you can't kill them before panzerschreck crash truck!!!!!!!!!! Ps. I don't like so much that everybody use Springfield or Gewehr, I think Thompson is funniest weapon in this game:)

  • Ja ich visiten deutschen leione

  • I spent many minutes ( hour? ) in that bar... It was awesome !

  • The bar, without a doubt, was the best part of this long, somewhat annoying level. The guys playing cards, the drunkard and his angry friend, the group telling jokes, the piano player, there's so many characters. Awesome!

  • I remember this!!!

  • man, i miss this game so much, i used to play it for hours, but now its all MW2 for me :(

  • you are fantastic!!

  • Thank you! :D

  • I love the Idea with the Nazi Bar-thats a very good Idea from the Producters,in new WW2 Games i never see somthing like that

  • I love this game

  • GOLDEN LION!!!!!! :DDDD <3 :D

  • I love this mission because I can go into the pub and just sit and chill with the drunk soldiers,I do that for about 10-15 minutes.

  • I used to have this game. It brings back memories.... This was probably my fav level. Thx 4 the upload!

  • i remember always going thru all the crap in this lvl just to see the bar lol

  • It's definitely the highlight of the level. :D

  • @shinymarshtop2 Same lol. I loved the bar part

  • @shinymarshtop2 lol yea me 2 i like wen the song ends one of the drunkl nazis passes out EPIC

  • I've always wondered, is it possible to shoot the panzerschreck before he shoots the truck? I noticed if you look over there with the sniper you can see him pop around the corner but I could never manage to kill him that fast.

  • I've never tried, to be honest. But judging from the way this game is structured, I seriously doubt that the truck would not explode even you did shoot him before he fired. If the truck was programmed to explode, it's GOING to explode. Since it is impossible to kill the first enemies you see before getting out of the truck, the guy with the rocket launcher probably can't be killed until you crash, either. This game's scripting is very strict in what you can and can't do.

  • @crystallinentity It is possible, but the truck explodes anyway

  • Decent

  • wow i did not know they had silenced pistols then..

  • haha nice sniper skill ;).

  • Thanks! :D

  • 5:30 :-D :-D :-D

  • LOL the guy 3:43 ^^

  • I like this level !! :-P

  • It's awesome. :D

  • this is def the hardest lvl i think

  • For me, the difficulty didn't come from an overwhelming numbers of enemies, but from those hidden snipers. They're everywhere! :O

  • What was the funny story about the statue I wonder?

  • do you play cod wow 4 ps3 i u do tell me ur gamer tag im 10 th perstege

  • Being good at Medal of Honor: Frontline and being good at that game is a different story... I rarely play my PS3 online, and when I do play, I usually get totally owned unless I find a good sniper position (on any online game, for that matter...). Oh, well, MOHF is something I'm actually good at. :D

  • The pub is one of the greatest playing areas in any game ever. Man I wish you could go in there holding a panzershreck through. that would just be epic

  • That WOULD be epic. I can see why the MOH team didn't let us do that, though... The framerate would take a serious nosedive if 10-15 people started shooting at you. Oh, well.

  • thats an intense fight

  • Indeed.

  • Hilarious pub scene;-)

  • Indeed. :D

  • well im going to subscribe you you have a good aim ^^

  • Why do you never keep the alarm from warning the enemy?

  • Because, contrary to actual logic, triggering alarms in this this game is a good thing, since more soldiers can be killed. Since a 95% kill rate is detrimental to getting a Gold medal, I always trigger the alarms to recieve it. Granted, no sane spy would do that in real life, but that is how this game's rating system worked. :D

  • Springfield 03 is the best weapon in the game!!!I wish you could use it in every level!!

  • Definitely. Even if it isn't the fastest weapon, its power and accuracy are unmatched for small arms in the game. I would also use the Springfield '03 in every level if I could. :D

  • i guess that is the only thing they fixed in Airborne! You your weapons for a mission!!

  • Choosing what weapons you can take with you was a nice touch. But the Springfield '03 in Airborne was underpowered, and the hit detection made actually hitting targets a pain, so I usually only used it in levels were it was absolutely necessary to have a sniper rifle.

  • oh yeah now i remember that sniping was pain in the ass in Airborne!!Springfield in Frontline is the best example how to do it right!!I hope in next MoH they'll do it it just right!!!

  • Who knows? The current MOH games are not being developed by most of the original team, so the aiming will likely not change, or it could possibly get worse. I have given up with expecting great MOH games, and I stick only with the older ones. Allied Assault also had great sniping, but I'm one of the few people who actually prefer consoles for shooters, so I think Frontline had the best. :D

  • I prefer consoles for any kinda games!!I dont play on PC at all!!

  • I don't play on the PC very much, as I have only a handful of games and all of which are several years old. I prefer the PS2 for most of gaming, since it was the first console I had.

  • i'm playin ps3 all the time!!And all these videos made me wanna play some MoH:Frontline!!

  • That's good. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos! :)

  • god,i remember playing airborne and hit a guy point blank in the chest with a springfield. defied logic

  • I love this level, I often play it just to enjoy the last bit. :)

  • Good times. :D

  • the ones at the end of the level

  • Oh. They were probably suspicious of a man who doesn't ever speak, then.

  • it's fun watching those two Nazis fighting each other, i always try to come between the fight

  • question: why was that gay looking Nazi staring at you?

  • Which one? There are so many all of them look the same. :P

  • i wish i could play that game again but my ps2 doesnt work anymore! thats really sucks. but great work!

  • Indeed. I'm sorry about your PS2.

  • fuck! that dude with the bazooka killed me!

  • Why is an anti-tank soldier in a remote Dutch village anyways? :P

  • You have eyes like a hawk!

  • Thank you!

  • i love the atmosphere in the pub around the piano. youdon't get that much anymore

  • I remember all of this so well w/ the bar scene

especially the grumpy German officer in the corner

I also love the cheap shot at 5:44

P.S. if you tip the piano player more than once, some of the soldiers pass out (funny!)

  • Same here. They seem to enjoy fighting amongst themselves more than against the Allies... :P

  • Spicye, the bar has a easter egg. You can found the Panzerknacker statue.

  • Ah, yes, the Panzerknacker statue... I personally have never seen it, but I was told about it a few months ago, and I haven't played this game for several months. Someday I'll check it out, probably after I play Medal of Honor: Underground, so I can fully appreciate it. :D

  • " Yeah i know that one :) "

Then the drunk germans start to sing.

  • Why don't MOH games have that sense of humor anymore? :D

  • i always love to hang out with them for a while.

  • Yeah, same here. Watching what they do when not in combat is pretty interesting.

  • game is easy on easy mode

  • Ummm... shouldn't it be? :P But if you are implying that I did this on easy mode, I am not. All of my walkthroughs are on normal or higher difficulties.

  • this has to be the funniest part in the entire game. Nazis + Beer + American Fool = Humor

  • Definitely. But I wouldn't say "American Fool" to someone who can kill a man with a pistol-whip...

  • i wish they would make a re-do of this game for the 360....they havent made a new medal of honor in a couple years.

  • Yes, a remake on the PS3 and other current-gen systems would be great, but don't expect it to happen anytime soon, if ever.

  • The first thing I always went for was the alarms so I wouldn't have to look for those pesky snipers on the rooftops.

  • I always let them get to the alarm because killing 95% or more of enemies nets me a gold medal for the level. That, and I like sniping...

  • but you know what?

The guy with the bazooka didn't appear when i got there, it was only a medical kit.

  • ...That's what happens when he accidentally discharges his rocket laucher into the wall. He drops a medical kit when he dies.

  • I passed this mission finally on hard!!!!!!!!!!!

    it was so difficult

  • Definitely.

  • i cant pass this mission on hard yet

  • This was a difficult mission on the Hard difficulty setting, so I can't blame you there.

  • is there an online gaming for this game?

  • I just found out that there is a panzerknacker from MoH Underground in the pub in this mission.

At the staircase that leads to the outside.

Atleast it looks like one :P.

At 4:40 in the corner of the stairs.

  • Wow. You sure know a lot of the secrets. I never noticed that before.

  • Yes I do, in the U-boat is also a secret.

When you start you can crouch behind you and get ammo for the MP40.

  • Nice :D

  • :)))

  • wow i thought no one but me remembered the ol' panzerknacker and actually found it.

  • Well, no more.

  • OMG i suck at this game i never beat it without cheats but your fricken awesome

  • Thanks! I

  • They realy should make a PC version of this game :D

  • this is one of my favourite medal of honor missions

  • I always like to play with a pistol and the god mode cheat on, sadly the new Medal of Honor games aren't like this anymore :(.

  • i know! what happened to sneakin' around with ID papers. man i miss that.

  • Same here. Nowadays, everything is frontline combat. The biggest draw of MOH for me was the opportunity to sneak around and pop krauts with a silencer. Now that's gone. Hopefully, the next MOH game (or at least its rumored remake) will return to it's roots.

  • Do your great i got these game and it is fricken awesome

  • Thanks! One of the best Medal of Honor games.

  • You are goood.

  • Thanks.
