Nice participation, Chris. I think that the one thing that came out of this, as also mentioned by others comments below, is that there is no transparency and proper figures available. I mean, gee - what else is the government hiding from us - if they cannot be up front and open with a soft drug such as cannabis?
lol for the mental illness point... 10% of men develop schizophrenia approx: around 20-25yrs old wich is a lot however if 10% of cannabis user develop mental illnesses its a lot yes but normal.

Surely they can't be referring to the Advisory Council for the Misuse of Drugs' recent findings that the link between cannabis and mental health is in fact, not considerably stronger than the link between alcohol and mental health? The main media controversy stemmed from the fact the ACMD stated categorically that cannabis should remain class C, yet it was reclassified anyway. What "new evidence" is this?

It annoys me when a person would rather form some ostentatious opinion on cannabis than just enjoy it. That especially goes for the anti-drug movements that seem to be people who hide mass insecurity through involving themselves as the do-gooders.
any intoxicant at a young age is harmfull because a person is still developing,so party and have a good time but be safe aswell because health comes first....keep smoking the la the boom!!!!!!

Cannabis is widley smoked, of course some people smoking it have mental health issues. there are also bound to be criminals, sex offenders and other nasties who use this drug. does that mean cannabis is responsible for all these traits. i dont think so, the government should wake up.
i was lucky enough to visit chris baldwins amazing cafes, they worked, and the uk should embrace them, there was never a problem with what chris did, the police knew and allowed it to stay open for a year, it was only closed because the government couldnt argue with it working so well.
Damn right!i fully agree with chris baldwin...i hate this relation to scizophrenia!i know alot of tokers and not one of them has problems due to their use of cannabis,they are all hard working citizens who pay their taxes and do there bit.I agree that some people will be prone to it but its a small% and most of those are youngsters who wouldnt be able to access it if it werent for our current prohibition.
