As far as I can tell, they sound exactly the same as each other apart from the engineering/studio tools whih they've got more of on the newer one i.e auto-tune and more compression. The new one just sounds neater and tidier and tidier than this one. But they are both exactly the same songs, with the same sections and same screams in the same places. I suppose its more "hardcore" to sound like you've recorded in a garage.

@DisturbedFan4AllTime Yep. It's way harder than singing. Also the possibility of hurting your throat is pretty high thus many Metal vocalists tend to scream less on their recent albums or even live. Unfortunately about 99% of the people listening to this won't understand this so there will always be these retards saying "aww he isn't screaming anymore, what a retard!". Just ignore this shit, at least we know it better.

The reason why the newer isn't as good is for a couple reasons:

1. This one is in drop D while the new one is in drop C# (for some reason a like it more in drop D)

2. They scream more in this one

3. There is more emotion in the music

This version is good, but theres so much feeling in the vocals from 1:02 to 1:27 in the new version imo. And the guitar solo is more articulate in the new version.

That being said, the old version of Bridges Will Burn is better than the original imo.
