  • I like the part when he hits him in the head with the baseball bat...classic!

  • I always wondered why did Capone bat the guy?

  • @TheDboy1993: If I remember correctly, the previous scene had the Untouchables making their first successful raid, and Capone beat the guy in charge of the raided warehouse pour encourager les autres. Which is why Capone preceded the beating with a speech about being out for yourself vs. being part of the team. In actuality, all the stories about Capone beating an underling had to do with the underling plotting to kill Capone and take over the gang.

  • I usually end my lunches like this...

  • I was just watching in living color and it made me think of this.

  • I'm going to sit down tonight with a piece of paper and write down a full list of my enthusiasms.

  • En-toosiasms

  • Comment removed

  • I just lost all my enthusiasm....

  • @albee1000 Daily show owes you a few bucks. They used your badminton joke on Thursday night.

  • I love this scene.

  • @NYCBlonde everyone has a different motive reason and experience in this world. so shut the fuck up.

  • @NYCBlonde You do not have....enthusiasms...enthusiasms..enthusiasms..

  • @NYCBlonde I'm sure you wouldn't have said that back then to the mayor of Chicago.I'm sure he would have done a lot worse that a simple baseball bat to the back of the head.

  • shame capones not alive today and in london because thiers a load of black bastards who need their brains smashed in might make them work i mean they are so retarded they cant even speak english in england they sound more like wogs than real wogs and capone had class and style he may have been a maniac but he looked after his own

  • @shredmaster100 Tis a shame, but because he can't beat your ass. Racist fuck.

  • u black people r the real racists m8 i go for a job interview the interviewers black first thing he asks is how do u feel about working with polish people i say i dont care next thing he says is english people are lazy and dont want to work thats what flipped the kill switch in me i attacked his nigger ass taught him a lesson i said to him its my country and if i was in charge theyd all be deported or shot that taught the cunt a lesson

  • @shredmaster100 I'm not black haha

  • well your not a british/italian catholic like me either because my people stick together and dont judge people because of their ethnicity but when some wanker who wasnt born in this country tells me im lazy just because i was born here well thats out of order and why when u visit your local jobcentre u always see english people their because they are always discriminated against

  • @shredmaster100 I mean, you commented on this video initially judging them by saying they can't speak. Get over your mafia romanticism.

  • what i meant was if u go to london the kids there black and white cant speak english properly cousin talks like hes a jamaican but honestly a jamaican rastafarian could speak better english than my cousin him and many like him in london are that bad at speaking the english language i dont know why but i blame all the immigrants from the 70,s and 80,s not bringing their kids up 2 speak english properly

  • @shredmaster100 I would say the culture is the reason why some Londoners cannot speak properly.

  • what worries me is how dumb are the next generation of teenagers gonna be i mean one of my m8s is so dumb he cant even pass a simple maths test to get a warehouse job hes a great person its just that the school he went to never educated him properly i blame the government i think they r dumbing down kids deliberatly so employers can hire more cheap foreign workers because the economy will get back to what it was much faster if employers r doing what i said

  • @shredmaster100 I understand, but I highly doubt the government is deliberately giving poor education to citizens to afford cheaper workers, most businesses are privately owned and the government has little control.

  • Skytalismos...

  • great movie <3

  • I'd hate to be the sorry rat listening to this in person, knowing I'm about to get a "Louisville Slugger" to the back of the skull!

  • whys it always the fat guy??

  • 6 people deserves to be bashed to death with a baseball bat!

  • De Niro was born to play mob guy roles. Awesome. Pacino, De Niro, Brando, Pesci = gods of mob roles.

  • @ClaudLeon Yep, DeNiro absolutely shone in Meet the Fockers and Stardust.

  • best scene in the film

  • Ops...... Tragico :@

  • "BASEBALL!!!!!"

Everytime he says it, I want to protect the back of my head.

  • Where's Jinxy ;-)

  • Can you imagine how much longer this scene would have been if his favorite game was badminton? Beating a guy to death with a shuttlecock isn't easy.

  • @albee1000 ...except he'd use the racket.

  • @aguyuno Dang, I knew somebody would catch that ....

  • @albee1000 muhaha :-D

  • @albee1000 Did you see the Daily Show? They used your joke :)

  • @medianix Hey, cool! Thanks!

  • Look at his eyes before he swings the bat.. OHHH :-o

  • I like the part where he said about the enthusiasms.

  • Enthusiasms.

    Enthusiasms.

    Enthusiasms.

  • Love this scene !!!

  • the simpsons brought me here, who else?

  • 1:55 sounded like a home run to me!

  • Dumb movie...had SOOO much potential because of DeNiro, Costner, Connery and Garcia, but unfortunately De Palma directed it. Terrible scriptwriting and awkward directing. Wtf was with the music from the 80s for a 30s movie?

  • @Sappyspartan ...and who do you think would do better job? ...James Cameron? LOL

  • @Summon256 Idk what you're trying to say. All I know is that De Palma did not do it right.

  • @Sappyspartan dude...seriously you're making no sense at all...maybe you don't like it personally but saying he didn't do it right is ignorance at its best...it is IN FACT consider one of the best movies ever, with best scriptwriting and numerous oscars and such...seriously get your facts straight if you didn't like something, that doesn't mean it is bad...give it a chance at least to look at it from another angle...

  • @Summon256 I don't like it personally, nor from a holistic approach, which is considering all other movies as well. Yeah, it's one of the best movies ever because DeNiro was in it. Lmao. The scriptwriting was terrible, directing was ok. It was only nominated for 4, and Connery received one for Best Supporting Actor. Get YOUR facts straight. I know my movies.

  • @Sappyspartan ...and what do you know exactly about script writing? go on tell us enlighten...make me laugh...dude do you understand you're saying BS, because you're talking about Brian De Palma, who probably directed more movies than your grandma probably could have watched through her entire life, so just stop talking trash you know nothing about sript writing and don't start with this "terrible" bla bla bla shit seriously just...stop! not cool at all...

  • @Summon256 Dude...I don't have to know scriptwriting or how much talent it takes. All I know is that I'm a movie watcher, so people make movies for people like me. There are different types of movie watchers...people who watch movies for the sake of being cultured, people like me who are serious movie watchers and really love movies, and people like you, who are extremely naive and just want to like any movie just because it got a good rating and got a couple oscar nominations.

  • @Sappyspartan ...also there's fourth category...open minded people, who aren't restricted to their own opinion and actually try to reason with or get over someone else's...and by the God's sake NO! just shut up already you know nothing about me to make such conclusions...

  • @Summon256 LOL that made SO MUCH SENSE! Open minded people! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Now shut

up. I don't need to know you to make a reasonable judgment based on how

ignorant and brainwashed you are. Ok bye, if you reply to this you are an

easily angered person who spends their time arguing on youtube. Bye

  • 'Al Capone personally beat three men to death with a gift-wrapped Indian club: Hop Toad Giunta, John Scalise and Albert Anselmi. They had been conspiring to turn against him and kill him, so he invited them to a dinner in their honour, and killed them by way of after dinner entertainment' classy LOL

  • Good thing none of his enthusiams were footbal XD. (American Football that is)

  • well....that..sucks lmao

  • YEEH I FEEL JUST LIKE COPONE SOME TIMES I FEEL

LIKE WACKING SOMEBODY LIKE A REAL ASS HOLE THAT DESERVES

    TO GET WACKED

  • Looks like the guests lost their enthusiasms for the supper.

  • Comment removed

  • Curb your Enthusiams

  • I think "team" is one of the most overused words at work ("enterprise" being a close second.) Everytime I hear "team" I think of this scene. Just so you know, being my co-workers and all.

  • Good movie, the only thing is the damn outdated music. It nearly ruins the film

  • @kairosmaxima

I have a fair number of enthusiasms for the soundtrack. It ain't bad.

  • @kairosmaxima I feel the same way. It annoyed me through out the entire film.

  • TEAM...TEAM... (deady guy nods head)

  • this is my remix an im a empire from miami diss guy has potteial

  • Four people do not have enthusiasms...enthusiasms..enthusiasms..

  • I'd like to give this speech at a joint session of the Senate and Congress. Take care of the non-team players the same way!

There is NO TEAM SPIRIT LEFT

  • Fantastic movie, the only thing I hate is the way it ends. You know, the whole "the good guys win in the end" good government bullshit. I felt the same way regarding the joker in the dark knight.

  • Comment removed

  • @stingray666 To be fair, they did put Al Capone away real life. AND The Joker turned a good guy into a bad one -- Two Face, was born.

  • damn......

  • Ouch!

  • Youuuuur outta there!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unfortunately the gentleman did not survive this brutal attack.

  • A life lesson AND a murder. This scene has it all.

  • Capone went 4 for 4!

  • Baseball bats aren't just for baseball:D

  • I love this scene. The way De Niro is smiling here he looks exactly like Capone!

  • home run

  • Whoa... and he never saw it coming :o

  • George Johnson, the fed attorney that prosecuted Big Al said many times that Capone coulda been very successful in the straight wolrd as a businessman if he had wanted...you can kinda see what he means in this scene...up till the killing it is a great motivational speech

  • I seem to recall SNL did a great parody of this with Reagan as Al Capone...

  • 6 people chose not to be team players and ended up getting whacked in the back of the head with a bat by DeNiro's Capone!

  • why did he do that? was he not good at sucking cock?

  • Walk it off!

  • Joey Bats

  • This is the kind of behavior one of the presidents of Fox News asks from his employees.

If someone tried to write a novel with characters from Fox, he/she would be told that such people don't really exist. Which is probably true: The employees of Fox are subhuman.

  • Forbes: “The head of a marketing division of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., [Paul] Carlucci once rallied his sales force by showing a film clip from The Untouchables in which Al Capone beats a man to death with a baseball bat.”

  • There is no I in T E A M!

  • @goldengloves27 But there is one in kill :)

  • Why did he whack him?

  • @MasterChief865

He was in charge of a alcohol warehouse that god raided by the cops.

  • @Nightmonkey17 ohh thanks! I never seen the entire movie! so thats why i asked lol

  • The waiter wearing the Red Jacket at 1:19 in the background runs the

Barbershop at the Doubletree Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Stop By, get a great Haircut, and he'll tell ya a couple of great stories from

    the set.

  • A man become preeminent, he is expected to have enthusiasms...enthusiasms...enthusiasms...

  • FUCKING awesome.

  • Man, De Nearo got Capone's accent and everything. The baseball death happened in real life BTW.

  • I knew as soon as he got the bat somene was going to get it whacked across their head. The real question was, who.

  • Its like me with Windows Updates. You don't want install, is that what you're telling me? Then sadly, your individual achievements are going to have to cost you. Cause I get nowhere unless the team wins

  • Don’t mess with the Godfocker.

  • Would've been so fucking nervous if he walked behind me at that table.

  • "One big team"XD

  • This movie was great. But it would be Goodfellas and Godfather quality if it had more gangster scenes with De Niro and less with Costner and Connery

  • 1:54 IT'S GOING IT'S GOING IT'S OUTTA HERERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

  • 2 people are standing alone at the plate.

  • I did this at my last presentation. Didn't get that promotion.

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • why did he do that?

  • The one guy who disliked this got PWNED with a bat by DeNiro.

  • fucking de niro and his shitty dot on his face

  • @BeatBoxingBryan

    Go fuck yourself you bum.

  • The soundtrack was pretty poor in this Film, made it sound comically sinister at times like something from Scooby Doo.

    Listen from 2:08

  • @suroj

Disagree, the whole visual and auditory flair of the film is a homage to a particular medium, basically those old gangster films from the 40s/50s/60s

Any comedic nature of the soundtrack is countered with the gritty violence.

  • @degree7 pause at 1:57 and you see Nitti without his hat eating at the table.

  • @suroj Lol you thought that? it sounded comically sinister. well what do you think would

have made it seriously sinister instead?

  • @hurricanesofhell Sounds like ma Casio keyboard

  • DE NIRO IS A FUCKING LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • He literally got whacked

  • lol mr burns did this in the simpsons to get homer into college but he wasn't that strong haha

  • The guy Dead Center at 2:01 is like "Damnit Al. Every fu**ing dinner"

  • @ijustmadethistoday I believe that's Frank Nitti without his white suit and hat.

  • Best scoail studies clip yet. Saw it today (minus last 20 seconds about) to learn about prhibition and such...lol

  • the look on DeNiro's face at 1:52 is priceless.Thats a look of a killer.looking directly at the guy responsible for the raid.deadly look

  • This scene makes me Smile.

  • He randomly kills a guy, with a baseball bat..... Why?

  • @mally603 I think he was the guy overseeing the wharehouse that had got raided by Ness & Company earlier. This is his punishment for costing Al Capone money.

  • @mally603 Well for everyone who does not get it

It is based on the story/legand that three of Al capones gang members where ploting to kill him he sat down to dinner with them then he bashed them up with a baseball bat knocking them all out in which he shot them when they where out.

It is unknown if that is a true story or not but it is one of the legands of al capone hence what this scene is based on.

  • @thebritish25 It's one of those things that, given other crimes he's known to have committed, it's not out of the realm of possibility. I think that's what gives it the appeal to books and cinema is it sounds like something somebody wrote for a film but it may have actually happened.

  • "This is his brain........this is his brain on fail." WHACK WHACK WHACK

  • @tritonus411 any questions?

  • This is how Freemasonry and Illuminati operates.

  • This demonstration is *exactly* how the Head of the "church" of $cientology acts.

Hard to believe? Read , look, listen....it's all on the Net. "Teamwork"...and for

    $cientology: "church"? Ha!
