@TheDboy1993: If I remember correctly, the previous scene had the Untouchables making their first successful raid, and Capone beat the guy in charge of the raided warehouse pour encourager les autres. Which is why Capone preceded the beating with a speech about being out for yourself vs. being part of the team. In actuality, all the stories about Capone beating an underling had to do with the underling plotting to kill Capone and take over the gang.
@NYCBlonde I'm sure you wouldn't have said that back then to the mayor of Chicago.I'm sure he would have done a lot worse that a simple baseball bat to the back of the head.
shame capones not alive today and in london because thiers a load of black bastards who need their brains smashed in might make them work i mean they are so retarded they cant even speak english in england they sound more like wogs than real wogs and capone had class and style he may have been a maniac but he looked after his own

what worries me is how dumb are the next generation of teenagers gonna be i mean one of my m8s is so dumb he cant even pass a simple maths test to get a warehouse job hes a great person its just that the school he went to never educated him properly i blame the government i think they r dumbing down kids deliberatly so employers can hire more cheap foreign workers because the economy will get back to what it was much faster if employers r doing what i said
@shredmaster100 I understand, but I highly doubt the government is deliberately giving poor education to citizens to afford cheaper workers, most businesses are privately owned and the government has little control.
Dumb movie...had SOOO much potential because of DeNiro, Costner, Connery and Garcia, but unfortunately De Palma directed it. Terrible scriptwriting and awkward directing. Wtf was with the music from the 80s for a 30s movie?
@Sappyspartan dude...seriously you're making no sense at all...maybe you don't like it personally but saying he didn't do it right is ignorance at its best...it is IN FACT consider one of the best movies ever, with best scriptwriting and numerous oscars and such...seriously get your facts straight if you didn't like something, that doesn't mean it is bad...give it a chance at least to look at it from another angle...
@Summon256 I don't like it personally, nor from a holistic approach, which is considering all other movies as well. Yeah, it's one of the best movies ever because DeNiro was in it. Lmao. @Summon256 Dude...I don't have to know scriptwriting or how much talent it takes. All I know is that I'm a movie watcher, so people make movies for people like me. There are different types of movie watchers...people who watch movies for the sake of being cultured, people like me who are serious movie watchers and really love movies, and people like you, who are extremely naive and just want to like any movie just because it got a good rating and got a couple oscar nominations.

Disagree, the whole visual and auditory flair of the film is a homage to a particular medium, basically those old gangster films from the 40s/50s/60s
Any comedic nature of the soundtrack is countered with the gritty violence.
