does anyone realize how much a trillion is? Folks on the news and around the water coolers seem to be throwing around a trillion dollars as if it is just another number that we have learned to use. many of us will take a lifetime to get anywhere close to a million. many of us will never see that.

I think it's time I flew my flag upside down as a symbol of not only distress but protest. I served in the Navy, I voted, I donated, I speak up where and when I can but it didn't work. Has the ballot box so fully and completely failed us?

I honestly just got back from a Cabela's here in Omaha with a H&K USP. It was used so it only cost me $700 instead of what.. $1400 new? Little did I know I would come home and find out that I may have spent my tax return better than I otherwise thought.

That's 200 complete 1GW nuclear power plants, for instance.

And there's recently been the development to actually use the radioactive leftovers as the feedstock for a new type of nuclear plant that would eliminate the vast majority of radioactive waste.
