@1stealther Personally, I don't hate Mega Man. But seeing even Capcom's own unofficial mascot not in MvC3 or even Ultimate version, actually doesn't make me feel that bad that Sammy isn't in.

I totally want to see Mr.Akechi in Marvel vs Capcom 3! I heard there are copyright issues because he is based off Takeshi Kaneshiro. I'm actually surprised how Onimusha became so unpopular so fast! I still play the series and love it. With his oni powers and huge artillery of elemental swords (Raizen, Enryuu, Shippuu, Bishamon Sword etc,) The abilty to transform into an oni and awesome samurai badassery he'd have made an awesome addition. Not to mention Takeshi Kaneshiro is super sexy.

Thats the thing. People keep saying Sam can't be in because hes based on real actor but Jill Valentine is based off Julia Voth and she is in MvC3, they could just make Sam less like Takeshi, it is the appearance that is copyrighted, not the character... Since Dawn of Dreams, the license of using Takeshi was long expired, and Samanosuke, which called Tankai, get to be in the game but he doesnt look like Takeshi. But the real problem here is...lack of requests because most requested = more $.....

Respond to this video... iirc there was a survey in japan asking which capcom character would you like to see in mvc3. Samanosuke was nowhere to be seen in the list. The only onimusha character listed was soki(and his rank wasn't very high). I'm kind of upset that japan prefers soki over samanosuke. Hopefully there's more dlc later on.

Capcom is really screwing up the roster...They should add in slots from other franchises especially from Onimusha. Why not add Samanosuke? or somebody from its universe. If no Onimusha character appears...screw the game. Soki appeared in TvC so why not make another Onimusha appearance! A random silver samurai made it into MvC2 so why not whip up this samurai! :(

@n3rdlover5 I just found out that they put Sentinel (which was already used in MvC2 and not many people support it) and another Darkstalker in the game.... I think maybe they will put Aunt May in the game next....

I totally agree that Samanosuke should be in it. Hell I've been saying this since Onimusha 3 was released back in 04. There's alot of hot characters that Capcom are leaving out that would be great fits in the game. I don't know what's going on. Maybe not enough demand I guess.

@limage84 Capcom is putting more Street Fighter characters into MvC3 rather than someone new from their other franchise, they already got 4 SF characters out of 18 so far on Capcom side, that's like 20% of Capcom side roster is from SF. Not saying Street Fighter characters suck but I mean can't they let someone that hasn't been in a MvC game to shine ?? D:~!

@WESKERfromEVIL Exactly what I've been saying now they add Akuma (another shoto nonetheless) into the game. Ryu was good enough. Akuma is cool but the slot could've went to someone else. Alot of missed opportunities for Capcom's roster.
