I just lost my brother a couple of weeks ago and although I have lost a few loved ones in the past, his tragedy was and is so painful right now. I really don't know what to say other than I love the Lord and even though I have no idea why someone would want to take my brother's life, and it be permitted, I tell the Lord that I love him even the more. It's rough though.

Going through the trials in my life and the fight with addiction. Everyday I feel like just stopping and giving up. I listen to this song, get on my knees and pray to my Lord. Some how some way I'm able to live another day. Thank you Lord for your gifts and the way you have touched Pastor Winans life. It gives me hope.

@buganut I was touched by what you wrote. Don't you dare give up. Keep your little hand in God's big hand. We all are struggling with one thing or another- -and it is not easy I don't care what people say. This I know for sure that God will never leave us nor forsake us- -because when I wanted to kill myself as a teenager, God blocked it. Just like he did not let me succede in that he will not let you fall. I have a testimony and so do you. God wants to use you to help encourage others.

This was my Grandad's favorite gospel song...he rarely went to church lol but he was a great man. We played this at his funeral and I haven't heard it since. R.I.P. I know he would be so happy to see me get my degree this year =)
