This is actually a very old video. I've had a couple laptops since then, lol. Anyway, these desktop effects are brought to you by Compiz Fusion. Installed, Configured, and Enabled by default in Ubuntu Linux since version 7.04. I run Linux Mint now. Compiz Fusion runs well on a variety of video cards, but I buy only laptops with Intel hardware due to their high level of Linux compatibility/support.
