are the levels diffrent in the PS2 version?

Just wondering because, I don't have a PS3 nor do I have a 360.

But, if the PS2 levels are diffrent, should I just get it for the PC?

From what I've heard, avoid the PS2 version of this game at all costs. Apparently, the PS2 port is "worse" than AOD, though I loved AOD. I'd say you'd be best getting it for the PC to avoid the numerous glitches and poor graphics. The levels have been changed, though I've heard not for the better.

I own the xbox 360 version of this game. The ps2 version is severely watered down compared to the nextgen versions of the game. Watch video walkthroughs of the game for those consoles and you'll see what I mean.

Crystal Dynamics were going to port the PS3 version to the PS2 and Wii they did not release their version for PS2 & Wii.

Buzz Monkey Software decided to do the PS2 & Wii versions instead thats why they did not turn out well.

I think the PS2 version looks pretty good. I have the PS3 versionbut i might get the PS2 version as well just because it looks a little different.

trust me the ps2 version has its diffrenses but its not worse than the others and the graphics arent this shitty its just these vids!! so definately the ps2 version is worth getting!!!

Although I would have to say that the PS2 version is bad compared to Anniversary/Legend, I would still applaud Buzz Monkey for doing Tomb Raider Underworld without any help at all from Crystal Dynamics. Great Job Buzz Monkey! And besides, it has the least glitches :D The PS2 version wasn't maximized that much, it would have done so much more, but Eidos didn't want to spend money in the PS2 version, only focusing on the next gen systems, thus the PS2 version lacking polish.

Because Crystal Dynamics didn't work on the PS2 version. Buzz Monkey did. AND Eidos didn't want to spend so much money on the PS2 version, they only focused on next gen systems, thus the PS2 version didn't excell unlike Anniversary and Legend. But Buzz Monkey still did a great job on the environment, I only find the last gen Lara's face dissapointing lol

WTF? No Naga or nothing and Shiva's gems are RIGHT THERE? Do you collect treasures/relics in this? I'm glad I got this on 360, but not glad my ps2 broke the day I got TRLR in the mail off ebay. No I have to get my laptop fixed up a little and get the calssics when my sister gets her stuff off of her.

well i like this game for ps2 and for me im glad i dont have to kill anything underwater like sharks otherwise id pause th game and never play it and maybe there holding it up int he usa because they are probably making it better so thats what i think but its my opinion they already would have realesd it here too but they didnt so it doesent really matter if they hold it up as long as the game is good

To the true lover's of Lara Croft adventures the graphics won't mind,he smaller level's. I'm very grateful they even made Underworld for ps2. I wasn't going to buy a ps3 only to play this game. Perhaps when the price of the ps3 falls on the market. Then I'll buy it. But not now. And I'll play that version. Tomb raider is a good game,it always has been a good game. It all depends on how you look at it.

i feel so dissapointed when seeing this! this is the last TR for PS2 and CD has done a terrible work. Graphics looks horrible, levels are extremely small and undetalied, and Lara looks really bad! I think that Legend and Anniversary looked 100000 times better than this. Still I really love my PS2 and I do love Lara so I might bought this one =S

This game is so weird on ps2. I knew the levels would be smaller than the 360 or ps3 but..they're even smaller than the Wii. It makes no sense that they would delay the game so much if the levels are now TINY

I hate the fact that everthing is different we miss out on loads of things, we dont kill sharks or spiders we dont get some moves like on ps3 etc. some bits are missed out and its really easy i bought it on saturday and i have already completed it :( we dont even get to choose outfits, but still its great fun to play

It's a very bad game on PS2! All levels are smaller than Xbox360! O_O

More mecanismes have been removed. I'm disappointed. I know PS2 is less powerful than Xbox 360 but on Xbox the game isn't famous so on PS2 he is very bad, I think.
