@matt19k Well, if you wish I could go into a lot of detail of why the Leopard 2 is the best, why the Challenger 2 is not far behind, and why the Abrams is 3rd (arguably, the T-90 may take 3rd).

And you don't necessarily have to be a tanker to know which is better than another, you just have to know facts and specifics, not necessarily just statistics (although figures play a big part in it).

However, the guy is likely just saying what he's seen from a Top 10 video made by a 12 year old.

T-90 is making the best of an old design. M1A2 = modern day tank of choice. Still, when you've got APCs that can take out tanks with ATGM at stupid ranges, and attack helicopters, all tanks are becoming obsolete.

Merkava is an heavily armored and armed troop transport less mobility and weaponry than the abrams its made to carry a small number of troops and BE AMAZINGLY survivable for the crew over all the abrams would work the shit out of a merkava.

has a fully stabilized main gun, has both soft and hard kill missile defence which the Abrams does [not], 5km thermal imaging computers to see targets at night or through obstructions, T-90 has link to GLONASS (Russian equivalent to GPS), Russia uses Tungsten and DU penitrating SABOT's which easily penitrate Abrams armor... feel better? lol
