No, this is called precedent. Precedent is when you determine that certain things are either not ok, or ok...on a presidential level it has been determined by the precedent set by the lack of prosecution of the Bush administration that administration crime is ok. Plain and simple. You either prosecute for very real and blaring crimes, or shut up.

If you don't call for prosecutions on it, in other words, you have no say.

Plame had been a paper pusher at the office for years - no one "outed" her. You are aware that the federal government is not allowed to just go into a state uninvited by the governor? Torture? And like I said watch the film 'Taxi To The Darkside'. There they outline beatings, including a standard technique of kicking prisoners in the legs, sleep deprivation, sexual assault, chaining prisoners arms to the roof so they have to stand until they are in agony, etcetera, etcetera.

@Staticnz If Plame were covert, Armitage would have been the person to be prosecuted by Fitzgerald... she did not meet that criteria, so he wasn't prosecuted. Fitz knew this before or very near the beginning of his excellent adventure. Fitz knew from the beginning of the investigation that his original reason for being appointed was to pursue the exposing of a covert agent charge - when it was made clear that Plame did not meet the criteria he had nothing else to pursue..
