  • Did he say Great American Panel?

  • @Sevenfold120 great at being douchebags

  • awww whats the matter liberals you dont like morris anymore becasue he exposes your "chosen one" for the douche he is

  • @americankiller04 Yeah Killer, it is hard to admire someone who got where he is today at FOX badmouthing his old boss.

  • Morris is a slimy little fuck.

  • Please I'm not a huge Obama fan...but Bush invaded a country illegally and killed thousands of innocent people based on a lie..no impeachment...impeachment over this? this is small potatoes

  • Sestak would not have even been eligible for appointment to the Intel Presidential Advisory Board because he has a Federal job as a member of Congress. They had better work hrder at getting their stories straight.

  • Offering somebody a job is more of an impeachable offense than starting an illegal war, outing a CIA agent, botching a federal response to a natural disaster, holding and torturing people illegally, and having unwarranted wire-tapping of citizens?

    Are you F'ing kidding me?

  • @Staticnz

He's out of office, in case you didn't know... get over Bush already!

  • @eagleeye1975 yes, exactly, so Obama is ALLOWED to break the law, based on this precedent. If Obama breaks the law, suck it! Because ala Bush the law doesn't matter. You think Obama doing dodgy things is impeachable if Bush could get away with all of those things? Hell no. Why listen to hypocrites.

Prosecuting for torture is the only way to make the law matter anymore. Nice legacy conservatives have left.

  • @Staticnz

Uh....... someone gets away with murder... now all murders are legal, because no one bothered to prosecute the other guy?

You fail at logic and legal precedent, sir.

  • @eagleeye1975 so you're admitting that Bush committed crimes?

No, this is called precedent. Precedent is when you determine that certain things are either not ok, or ok...on a presidential level it has been determined by the precedent set by the lack of prosecution of the Bush administration that administration crime is ok. Plain and simple. You either prosecute for very real and blaring crimes, or shut up.

If you don't call for prosecutions on it, in other words, you have no say.

  • @Staticnz

Of course Bush committed crimes! But you can't impeach him because he's out of office! Geesh... defensive much?

  • @eagleeye1975 yes, and soon Obama will have committed crimes and be out of office too, and then you will complain.

  • @eagleeye1975 and that's why I'll willingly be lectured about this by somebody that is for prosecutions of the Bush administration, by I'll not stomach it from somebody that denies that as essential, which I suspect you do.

And I never said somebody getting away with murder means murder is legal or ok...what I'm saying is, if murder was fine before, how come you suddenly discriminate now?

I personally don't discriminate. I want any and all murders prosecuted for!

  • @eagleeye1975 Thats call BDS Syndrome "Bush Derangement Syndrome" Still people have this illness...

  • @Staticnz You seem to forget the Congressional vote about authorizing force. Where is the illegality unless you want to go after all the Congressmen that voted "Yes". Plame had been a paper pusher at the office for years - no one "outed" her. You are aware that the federal government is not allowed to just go into a state uninvited by the governor? Torture? Do you even understand the idea of REAL torture? Wire-tapping? BHI expanded the powers of the PA - go after him.

  • @mcv47 do I understand the idea of REAL torture? That means?

You are another of the 'waterboarding isn't torture' crowd? Ridiculous. Have a look at Abu Gharib, try watching a documentary called 'Taxi To The Dark Side'. You don't even have to look to waterboarding to see what else was done.

PS. They never declared war, and torture is illegal even if they had. What's BHI?

And it doesn't matter what capacity Plame was working in if it is classified information, so that's irrelevant.

  • @Staticnz The resolution authorized President Bush to use the Armed Forces of the United States "as he determines to be necessary and appropriate" in order to "defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions regarding Iraq."

  • @mcv47 I repeat, no war was declared. If he was authorized to use the Armed Forces he has gone far and above and beyond what that original authorization allowed.

  • @Staticnz What an odd comment. Bush is authorized by Congress to use the armed forces pretty much at his discretion and then you say his discretion went too far? The term "at his discretion" meant just that. Were you there when the vote took place to know what the original authorization allowed?

  • @Staticnz if you want a true definition of torture, make someone choose between burning alive or plunging 80 stories to their death. If such a choice can be avoided by waterboarding a terrorist, then the only moral thing to do is to waterboard him, and it is the people who argue otherwise who are morally-stunted children.

  • @mcv47 torture is ongoing treatment...what you describe is homicide...

Do you think being kept in the dark everyday in a hot room and repeatedly told by people brandishing weapons that they are going to kill you soon is not torture? Because that is, it just isn't physical torture...psychological torture exists and is very real, and if you don't agree, you must be an inhuman robot. So what do you know of humanity?

  • @Staticnz You diminish the meaning of torture especially for those that have lived through it.

  • @Staticnz f it were actual torture, do you really think that we’d see members of the media volunteer to undergo waterboarding just to see how bad it is? (What if the technique was the extraction of fingernails? Any volunteers?) If it were actual torture, do you really think tens of thousands of our military men and women would be required to undergo it in the course of their training? No.

  • @mcv47 the members of the media that have done it have said it is torture. The military, generals, and all experts (except right wing hacks), agree it is torture. It is torture.

And like I said watch the film 'Taxi To The Darkside'. There they outline beatings, including a standard technique of kicking prisoners in the legs, sleep deprivation, sexual assault, chaining prisoners arms to the roof so they have to stand until they are in agony, etcetera, etcetera.

  • @Staticnz If Plame were covert, Armitage would have been the person to be prosecuted by Fitzgerald... she did not meet that criteria, so he wasn't prosecuted. Fitz knew this before or very near the beginning of his excellent adventure. Fitz knew from the beginning of the investigation that his original reason for being appointed was to pursue the exposing of a covert agent charge - when it was made clear that Plame did not meet the criteria he had nothing else to pursue..

  • @mcv47 so what does he do..Keeps asking questions, fishes, engages in public hyperbole about the "cloud around cheneys office" and in the end sets his perjury trap, catches Libby either lying or not remembering what turns out to be a non- issue and gets his successful prosecution. How covert do you want to be if your husband is filing his CIA reports in the NY Times anyway??

  • I'd like to see a Member of Congress file for an Impeachment trial of Obamie.

  • If Georege Bush knew it, grounds for impeachment. Impeach both already

  • Imbeach the bum!

  • Obama, the Law Teacher, who voted for the Patriot Act...

  • @ubuibiok precedence has been set.
