to those of you who are confused: The story of 1001 nights was written by an arab author, but INVENTED by Persians. Although it is quite hard to distinguish truth from fiction, historians are pretty sure that the story of Shahrzad was based on true events. The stories in this book are all Persian, Mongol, Chineze, Indian and Arabic stories that were written down by the arab author i just mentioned.

1001 Nights takes place in 'Baghdad', but in those days there was not mention of arabs!!

persian empire came from the amangamation of elam and medas-two aryan tribes who then expanded from 700BCE culminating in 650BCE with a sort of empire then under kurush it expanded in world empitre culiminating under daraayush in 550BCE.
