Brilliant stuff, funny looking back at stuff that was normal to me watching it last century...puppets with ciggies and booze would cause outrage amongst the feeble nowadays! Love it!
For the first time since 15 years i found my long lost favourite cartoon.....i kept on mixing the name up as love birds...i love thunderbirds so much....love it..thx for posting.
The future ain't what it used to be. Decades later, these intros still make my heart race as, five years old on a Saturday morning, you know that they will take you into a world where, for one half hour each week, ANYTHING can happen - and probably will! God bless the Andersons.
As memory serves, this is the EXACT order that the episodes were shown in when they were broadcasted on BBC 2 back in the late 80's. And I always remember hating the order they were in on the DVDs since I was so used to THIS order lol Ah...good memories
as much as i loved the very first episode, i cant help but think it cuda been made better. like if it was more like the very first episode of Supecar, where mike and the professors are workin on the car before they save the kids in the raft, they cuda had brains workin on the thunderbirds before they got called out, and that wud also explain why elevator car 3 went out of control.
I've seen practically all the episodes but The Mighty Atom and Lord Parker's 'Oliday feels abit vague to me, must rewatch those then I can officially call myself a fully fledge Thunderbirder.
i remember wacthing this as a kid, my father used to tape this on vcr when it came from the tv, and i've watched them countless times! sadly the vcr's were thrown away a couple of years ago but now luckily i found a torrent including all of these 32 episodes, so i can enjoy thunderbirds as much as i want! :). yea, and about bigmik16's comment, i also remember that the crab logger scared the s**t out of me! :D
Can anyone name a good Thunderbirds site? My dad would like to find out info there about (if it exists) whether International Rescue was supposedly (on his guess) based near America Samoa, who funded IR, how'd the base get built, and what would real Thunderbirds look like if a company had to create similar craft from scratch today.
The one with the 7.10 giant alligators (in Thunderbirds that is) reminds me of the boat scene in the James Bond film Live and Let Die with Roger Moore.
AWESOME! just simply awesome! to do that is kickass so i thank you very much. The pre-credits had to be my favourtie bits cause it put all the exicitement from the episode into the teaser so it made you want to watch more and the music is amazing. I have it all on CD WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The pre credits to Thunderbirds always rocked! They're my favorite bits, especially the Fireflash and Crablogger episodes (which scared me when I was little!)
The pre credits to Thunderbirds always rocked! They're one of my favorite bits, especially the Crablogger episode (which scared me when I was little!)
They're in the official ITC recommended broadcast order, as stated in Chris Bentley's 'Complete Book of Thunderbirds'. That's not necessarily the production order...

If a GOOD writer/director (James Cameron) re-did this show as a movie, it might actually not suck.

Thunderbirds actually did a stupid Christmas episode? No wonder it was one of their last shows. The Christmas genre is overdone and overly silly.

All they had to do to stop the crablogger was create some sort of fail-safe that stop it from moving once it had travelled such and such a distance.
Brings back brilliant memories. I'm going to fling a couple of those DVD's on my TV.
