are you doing this for fun or is that your driving style? because this will not get you the fastest lap times, you need to grip those turns as fast as possible to have the best lap times. everytime you oversteer you are making the car go slower.
he understeer cause he's not shifting weight on the front, when he lift off you see that the car oversteer pretty well. I think the video show that he learning very well, the 2nd time you see less steer angle and at the tigh turn he proovoke the oversteer by intention and then correct it in a very smooth way. This guy know what is doing.
@TakumiFujiwara80 Thanks! I learned a bit since I recorded this video. Now I am able to initiate the oversteer even on dry surface using onyl lift-off / scandinavian flick. You can check it on one of my videos... 6LrQGlZktwk
When you're oversteering with a FWD car, you must accelerate ( yes it is ! ) and keep the tires towards the track's direction ! But i recognise it's hard to practice because this is an anti-natural reflex you must use :S
Why -2? Lift-off indeed IS a weight transfer technique... and the author said that was a lift-off that caused the oversteer. And of course, I was refering to FWD cars.
The author said it was lift-off, that is weight transfer to the front, thus the oversteer. NO NEED to call anybody an idiot. I know that RWD is more fun, as I have both an RWD (BMW E36 325i, manual) and a FWD (Scirocco 2.0TSI DSG), but here we are refering to FWD.
The use of the E-brake is for very tight hairpins or for beginners. Weight transfer and inertia techniques are for more advanced drivers, and, at least for me, quite more fun than E-brake.
What kind of modifications to do you have? barely any body roll in that thing

Mate, you might consider giving it a bit of lift-off on turn in and then begin applying power

wow, so much freaking understeer its painful to watch. (other than the brief instances of oversteer) so bad.

How did you do that? No handbrake, no feint... only with lift-off? Sensible car...

Combination of the lift-off and wet slippery track

good point well i guess you can make an oversteer w handbrake = more oversteer =more fun= no need to make lift off
