Well I favorite because it goes in a fav list and those are the videos I want to go back and watch over and over and show other people. When I like I do it because I either agree with the person or just like the vid but didn't think it was worth a fav. Changing the button layout would not make me like more videos, I only think a small amount are lazy.

I'll like all the time. But I only favorite videos that are my FAVORITE videos. I actuallly go back and watch my favorites because they entertain me to this day. Most commentaries don't.

well your right about everything else but the reason i don't favorite isn't cause im lazy its cause a favorite is permanent. its like buying your video to watch later.

im not trying to offend you but commentary isn't that special its just something i watch to kill time. its very unlikely i would ever feel the urge to watch someones cod commentary twice.

i like music so the types of stuff i favorite are like tutorials or really cool solos. stuff i would actually watch more than once

Typically when I like a video, I LIKE it, but I only favorite a video when I wanna watch it over and over and over again, because once its in my favorites I can see it whenever I want:)

I like just about every video of my subscriptions to help out but I don't want to favorite all the time because it will just fill up my favorites with similar gameplay commentaries. It kind of makes the the favorite thing pointless if you favorite nearly all the videos you watch. I like having a variety of favorites, funny ones, very well made videos, memorable commentaries or some really well done parody, those sorta things.

Quick fix for youtube for this issue, you cannot see the like/dislike bar if you haven't given the video a like or dislike. this way people can give there own opinion more on the videos.

My philosophy is to Like the video if the uploader responds to user comments. If they do, they get a Like (it shows they care about and interact with their subscribers). If they don't, they don't get a Like. It's simple. I like all of you guys' videos since y'all respond to virtually every comment.

Personally i like most videos, but i only favorite things that stick out, look like high effort, and are things i'd watch more than once and want to show other people.
