I like the chattiness of the pome which is made more delightful by your delivery. It is of course a very feminine pome, and I ain't being sexist - well I wouldn't would I? But then of course you are very feminine and so's your pomes. You hadn't noticed a thing? but you do, you Pinnochio you! And then to leave em all in the old boot's boot!
You delight me, my lady! Loved the poem for many reasons, including some lines Tiny mentioned. I also enjoyed the play of sounds as well as the sense and irony. I have also been entertained and impressed with your production techniques. Wonderful. I have to agree with the others that you remain a class act even through the bloopers. I saved about ten from my last video, and I'm afraid I cussed like a salt in nearly all of them. So happy always to hear you read.
It's a tricky thing video. It's like the lens has this power to pull the strings of our inner-workings completely out of tune. I really enjoyed your poem, Poet Lina. It reminded me strongly of Harold Pinter's prose pieces. It's very English, one more poem that makes me proud of being English and a poet.
This was a big treat for me! Lines like "and only one honest lie with" and about ten others in here I find so incredibly perfect in their cleverness and sophistication. And I love the way you decided to end the poem.
Your out takes have a lot less cussing than mine. Clearly, you are the better poet AND person!
A fine reading, very evocative and descriptive. A charming British accent.

@sonofwalt No excuses. Take the credit for being original, few are they who can! :-)

@sonofwalt "cussed like a salt". Have never heard that expression before, can only speculate what it means, but it made me smile, thank you.
