  • Hush, both you & Eldad are perfect ambassadors for compassionate humans everywhere.

In a world bursting to capacity with selfish narcissistic fucks,wanna-be 'Stars',inept LYING elected politcians,attention-seeking ''look & listen-to-me'' 'celebrity' fucksticks who care only for themselves & money, you're both champions to these abandoned 'forgotten'.

These gentle animals do NOT deserve this shit

All dogs have little hearts & minds that only want to be loved & to love us back,it's all they crave

  • here is a nice cure vote republican

  • I just really don't understand why more Jails/Prisons/Institutions are not following in the footsteps of "Operation Second Chance." It's not only good for these animals, who have no chance left, but also for qualified inmates to find something productive and useful to do with their time and skills to use if/when they get out. Who better to train these animals than one with nothing but time! I don't know why this is going so unnoticed!!!

  • This breaks my heart!!

  • after :"but most stories dont end that way" i HAD to stop or i would cry my eyes out.... but God bless you, you're a great man

  • this is soo sad to watch :(

  • Why are some people so selfish and take on pets without the commitment to care for them for life..

  • I am from a Michigan Native grew up in Lansing but went to high school in a Detroit suburb and have family there. It kills me how Detroit's homeless animal population is swept under the rug in the national media. PLEASE let me know how I can help! I appear regularly on national talk shows....let me help. Dara at PupStyle.com

  • this hapen when you choce nigro for governor

  • Such a sad video.. This shouldn't be happening and unfortunetly it is in many places accross the world. These dogs deserve to have a loving family and have a warm place to sleep at night.. Ugh this pisses me off so much!!

  • *tears* for these forgotten angels

  • Thank you HUSH for helping the dogs out! We should only support no-kill shelters! Sending them to the humane society, or other city run shelter will be a death sentence for the dogs! Anyone who kills animals should themselves die. Please tell us who to contact at RSPCA to let them know we protest their actions and behavior!

  • oh my gosh. this is so SAD. The suffering & pain these homeless dogs go through. O.O

thank you for exposing the truth. without it, your town's residents won't realize how bad their problem is, and change won't ever occur.

I hope Detroit & every other city with this problem will find a way to stop the homeless dog problems humanely.

  • I'm so sad when i think about all of those animals!Sometimes people don't deserve friends like dogs...

  • @Favorite2799 AMEN.. what an incredibly amazing comment. And so true.. some people don't deserve friends as loyal & loving as Dogs.

  • Thank you for posting this. I hope people can be more aware of the sad plight of many animals out there and I hope it also encourages people to take care of their pets and not abandon them.

  • Unbelievably heartbreaking! Hush, thank God for people like you. You're an angel on this earth. Thanks for all you do.

  • The people are crazy for doing this.. I do not understand why anyone who would do this would even get a dog (or cat) to begin with.. I've read 8 million pets are killed in shelters in the USA yearly... Laws should be stronger and it should be required to spay/neuter all pets.. I have lost a few pets in the years past while moving and I still cry every day because of that, but they were all spayed/neutered.. Trying to find a lost pet is terrible.. I adore all animals and fight for them...

  • well im a big big dog lover and if i lived there i would slap the owners in the face for leaving them like that and also in a street like that horrible crule people

  • Hush. You are an amazing guy. We need more people in this world like you. Bless you and the animals.

  • Thank you, Hush for caring so much and doing something to cause serious change! I can tell you love and are proud of your city, and that includes the way the people there treat their animals. Bravo for your cause. I'm with you all the way. I posted this on my Facebook page too. (Judy Dixon Gabaldon)

  • I am so saddened by this. Children need to be educated about the needs of companion animals in elementary school. Then, all therough the reat of their school years, they need reinforcement. That is the only way to end the over abundance of strays. They need to learn how to care for the animal, properly. They need to spay or neuter. They need to learn that they are responsible for a LIFE and to care for it accordingly, Lastly...they need to LOVE man's best friend!

  • @tink5851 Starting at the grade school level is absolutely the best way to change the way too many people are as adults - mistreating, abusing and abandoning animals. And it's a proven fact that those who rape, torture, abuse, kill people started out by treating animals that way too. We need to make our mission multi-fold..."teach the children", "make penalties and laws as tough for animal as for human abusers", "spay and neuter animals", "stop puppy mills and puppy farms", no-kill shelters!

  • @recovering16 I have friends that are well-versed in the ways of the school board and the Education Dept. in Trenton, NJ. I know there is a dept for curriculum as I needed their help a few years ago on a school issue. I am going to enlist there help and see how prolific I can be. After all...it will be for the animals <3

  • @tink5851 That's great, Tink... Are you on Facebook? If so, please friend me there. I'm Judy Dixon Gabaldon. I think a large majority of my friends there are animal rescuers and advocates - and those involved in related activities - such as this very important issue - "teaching the children"...Thanks so much for what you're doing.

  • i hate them for just leaving their dogs alone.....

i myself cried when my dogs are sick.......

  • It's weird seeing all these abandoned buildings. We don't have anything like that in Canada.

  • OK. Here is my question. Where did you get the number? 50000 strays in Detroit?

    When I drive through, I see a handful, but not 50000 ?

  • this dog packs can be very dangerous..even the most chilled dog will be fucking vicious in a pack....some 8 year old kid were killed by 5 dogs in russia like a year ago

  • @ImGodUFUCK thats the parents problem for not looking after the kids, not the animals problem..

  • @shobin05

so the parents should watch for the child when he is 10 feet from the building?

lol iif ur son gets raped just in the park near by or shot by some guy and someone tells you its your problem how would you feel?

dog should not run in fucking wild packs

  • @ImGodUFUCK haha, your argument is invalid, you are comparing a rapist and an animal, an animal which is brought up by an owner knows whats right and whats wrong, a rapist KNOWS his actions are wrong,

how the fuck could a wild animal know that it shouldnt kill humans? you say its wrong for dogs to live in packs, are you retarded? so why do you live with your family? if you are stranded on an island with no food you will hunt for animals, so it makes you no difference to an animal...

  • @shobin05

alright then live in a neiborhood where you constantly have the risk of being ripped apart by a bunch of dogs...i bet you would leave that neiborhood in the next day

yes its WRONG for fucking PETS to live in PACKS in the middle of a fucking TOWN and kill CHIDLREN

    thats wrong

WOLVES FOR example are WILd animals they live in the WILD

dogs are not a fucking WILD animals

  • @ImGodUFUCK Please tell me your not THAT stupid.

you are complaining about how animals live, animals have been hunting like that for hundreads of years ago..you are complaining about how they survive...

hahaha, i could argue with you but whats the point, im sure youre the kind of person who likes having the last comment, so go ahead and have it, i got better things to do than to bark at a dog..

  • @shobin05

there never been dogs living iin the wild once again im tellin you dumb fuck dogs are NOT wild animals

dogs should not survive like animals,

humans hundreds of thousands of years ago survived by kiling eah eachother too so why not do it now?

and you are truley a dumb fucker that only whines he cant get the last comment because even HE knows his wrong

so fuck off and go "bark at a dog" dosent that make you a dog? dumb motherfucker

  • @shobin05

and also i hope your hole family will be killed by "poor dogs trying to survive" so i can fly over to your dumb country and laugh my ass off in your face and you families goddamn grave

  • @ImGodUFUCK all that hard work of wrriting...TLDR hahaha

  • @shobin05 maybe it takes your dumb mind 30 minutes to write that, took me less than half a minute..anyway fuck off and i hope you die dumb fag

  • @ImGodUFUCK cussing, awww, how cute...

  • @shobin05 fail attempt at trying to troll or whateever

you are a dumbest fucker ive eever encountered

  • @ImGodUFUCK fetch the last comment, boy, FETCH!

  • @shobin05 and what are you trying to do? stop bitching fag

  • @ImGodUFUCK GOOD DOG hahahahaha!

  • @shobin05 this is really fun cheak youtube once in a while to laugh my assoff at your dumb attempt to annoy someone..is your life really suck that much? i feel for you man you will get over it someday

or not..because of your stupid attitude and brain

  • Sometimes I think that government should pay more money on rescuing animals, preventing their reproduction. Maybe each owner of an animal should register this fact. I really don't know but this problem is more and more overhelming...

  • detroit is animal abusing country.

  • When you buy a dog you make a commitment, fucking keep your goddamned commitments.

  • "People move out.. they leave their dogs behind." THOSE PEOPLE.... HOW COULD YOU?!

  • this is so sad

  • This made me cry... I'm bawling my eyes out because of that dog u followed and he was eating a dead puppy... Keep doing what your doing and best of lick with rescuing as many animals as you can!!

  • 50,000 strays..........a national disaster. WHERE IS BEST FRIENDS? Are they ignoring this? Why aren't they on the scene?

After what they just did to Ace (killed him despite rescue wanting to take him) they all need to be fired.

50,000 strays but Animal Control doesn't want to work with rescues. What on earth is going on? Something stinks from the mayor on down.

  • Never stop. We are behind you.

  • Upsetting.....but .....well done. Detroit needs more people like Hush.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. NOW IS THE TIME TO START GETTING SOLUTIONS TO FIX THE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF NEGATIVE THINKING OF WHO, WHAT, WHERE & WHY THE PAST PEOPLE DID WHAT THEY DID OR DIDN'T. WE AS A PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR OURS & OTHER HUMAN'S ACTIONS. "WE DO NOT HAVE AN ANIMAL PROBLEM, WE HAVE A PEOPLE PROBLEM" PLZ DONATE & HELP YOUR LOCAL NO KILL SHELTERS & VOTE FOR ALL TO BE NO KILL!! GOD IS THE ONLY JUDGE OF WHO LIVES OR DIES. BE BLESSED & A BLESSING

  • thanks to obama and the other before him ...

  • god bless you ...

  • This is breaking my heart. Those poor dogs :(

  • iam a 28 year old man and im crying not gay

  • This is heartwrenching......I'm speechless.

  • This is horribel ! How's the situation now? Can someone please tell me ?

  • Oh this is heart wrenching, really sad, but I am thankful that someone is bringing it into the public eye. I would love it if people could go and watch my video about rescue dogs in Australia that need your support! If you could vote for the dogs in the video you can help secure the saving of new dogs, we really appreciate it! THANK YOU SO MUCH :-)

  • Oh no. Shocking. Wanting to hide the problem is shocking. More education, animal rights law enforcements. Spay and neuter clinics. Helping people probably also helps their pets. Great video

  • This made me feel sick with disgust.. I don't understand how anyone can do that to a dog... Its just sick and wrong and tbh if they couldn't take care of it or knew they was gonna get bored of it, they shouldn't of had them!! Sick fucks!!

  • it is so sad , can take care of one!

  • Well from what I see on Animal Cops/Detroit...look at the mentality of the people that live there ( not all, so don't go ballistic on me ). But the people I see on tv are stupid and ignorant...and do nothing but breed un-wanted kids themselves....level that city and all in it !

  • @Snaarley I couldn't agree with you more.

  • @lisalrocks ..thank you Lisa......I see what I see on TV...as many others do also. They really need to set up a spay and neuter clinic for a lot of the people...JMHO... :)

  • I started crying :(

  • @ThePerrrfectgirl22 same here :( i don't know why people can be so heartless

  • fierypoeticgirl4u2c@yahoo.com

  • I want to help!

  • Stupid dog eaters!!! Mostly in korea

  • How the hell did it get to 50,000 stray dogs? Whats going on in this state? Thankyou for helping these poor souls. Shame on the owners no matter what there circumstances.

  • In some countries in Asia, people live with stray dogs. When I saw them they were very happy without collars. A few countries in Asia eat dogs such us Korea and China and Viet Nam. As for Korea, they consume 2-4 million dogs a year. But this is their traditional food culture. People believe dog meat stimulates their sexual desire. Before cooking, they severely abuse dogs in order to enhance their flavor. Yeah, this acting is heritage of Korea.

  • instead of giving food ,he followed this dog to see how he is making out

  • Dude, I love you for doing this. Please message me or something, how many dogs/animals have you rescued in Detroit since this video? I am glad you are trying to help the poor animals.

  • Great vid, man, great video.

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.

  • @MaximumImageStudio

Who's quote is this? I love it...

  • I had no idea the problem was this bad.. :[ ty for sharing..

  • this guy is my here, way to go

  • I used too live in Detroits west side and will never forget the things I saw. Dead dogs, stray ones, and all the abused ones. It's horrid n glad to see that someone is bringing the problem to the light. Good luck with all your efforts.

  • People should be ashamed of themselves!!!! These dogs were once loved, but when people don't want them nomore, they just get rid of them like garbage...!

  • God damnit, that's in United States!?!

  • this is not a joke its a serious problem, some people are just fucking sick.

buy a dog, get bored of dog, put dog on street and forget about it......sick fucks

  • @scaleop4 i dont understand how people can be so heartless.

  • Welcome to Detroit: the Africa of America.

  • I thought this video was AMAZING !!! I thank you SO much for what you do and may God bless your heart my dear friend because you have a HUGE one <3 Check out my

  • What a world we live in... to think that there are so many homeless dogs out there. You , my friend, have a heart of gold. Its a shame there are not more "humans" out there who care ..as much as you do. Thumbs up to you,, would love to share this video.

  • Holy shit!! That is so disturbing...I live in bc canada, i since i was a little little girl dreamed and aspired to help animals, to be a vet. I am now 24 yrs old and cant stand no ifs and or but to see or hear aout an animal suffering or being abused.

So i thought that i before I going int a vet school...I want to help the spca create an amy to protect any animal no matter what.

I am going into cross my finger into a course that i can become a n officer with spca

  • It's stunning to see just how bad things have gotten there. Every abandoned INTACT animal adds to the problem. There is no way they can get ahead of this problem with such a large breeding population of strays. Harsh winters and lack of food thin the numbers buthere. For people AND dogs. Every abandoned INTACT

  • how the fuck could someone just abandone their dog like a couch. its a family member! take your responsibilities assholes!!

  • @mardeeify well said, bet you all the boxers belonged to them.

  • @mardeeify Seriously? Look in the fucking mirror.

  • Tiffriley07 I'm happy you did that for the dog. god bless you! But there's no need to spread negativity about any city. I've been to many places in the u s, Canada, and Europe. There's crummy ppl everywere! Detroiters having hard times to feed themselves

  • @justsomedude777 Sure ok. The problem starts with people like you.

  • i like ur music..

  • Im glad to know that there is still people out there like you

  • Thank you for posting this video. These dogs deserve to have a good life. Also people really need to consider whether they can afford a dog. There is no reason to just up and abandon an animal.

  • Humans suck. How can you leave your best friend unprovided for. How cruel is this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! VERY moving video. I saw HUSH and his partner Monica Martino featured today on CNN. Just read online that they received $20,000 in donations in one day after an NBC broadcast. Hopefully, this will trigger even more in donations and they can open a real shelter. I know hard times come unexpectedly, but people REALLY need to think about whether they can care for an animal LONG TERM before they get that cute little puppy. Shame on anyone who just abandons a pet regardless of circumstances!

  • I don't want to get very nasty, but i don't see a very good reason why the FUCK would 15 people dislike this?

  • I AM A CANADIAN RESIDENT AND VISITED DETROIT ON MAY 12, I AM DESGUSTED AT HOW YOUR CITY LOOKS AND HOW MANY STRAY SICK DOGS THERE ARE. IM ACTUALLY RELIEVED THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE YOU TRYING TO HELP THESE DOGS. WHEN I WAS AT A LITTLE CESARS THERE WAS A WHITE PITBULL MAYBE AMERICAN BULLDOG WHO WAS LOOKIN FOR FOOD AROUND THE BUILDING AND HE WAS SOOO SKINNY AND SICK LOOKING THAT I RAN INTO THE STORE NEXT TO LITTLE CESARS AND BOUGHT A TIN AND A BAG OF DOG FOOD WHICH ONLY COSTS ME ALL OF $3.

  • It is good to see people helping the dogs of Detroit. Besides sending money if everyone really wants to help, stop buying Japanese cars and start buying Fords and GM. These cars are as good as any Japanese car and buying them can help rebuild Detroit.

  • fancypants64ish I have been so upset hearing about all the thousands of these poor stray animals. YES, its the humans doing this, they get these poor animals then decide they don't want them. My heart breaks for these 4 legged guys. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE "DETROIT DOG RESCUE TEAM", what would those poor animals do without such a caring group. I realize there is so many causes that need money, however, I find this to be at the top of my list.

    How can I help???

  • Hush, you are truly angel and hero. You clearly have a passion for what you are doing. I only wish their were more ppl like you that would go to the lengths that you go. Ive never met you, but I can honestly say, you have a special place in my heart. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SELFLESS WORK YOU AND YOUR GROUP ARE DOING. Hopefully being on national tv will bring you the help that you sorely need. Its a tragedy that their are ppl out there that do inhumane to critters that just want love. GOD BLESS

  • I love what you are doing, I have wanted all my life to help rescue dogs they are my passion, with my dog and companion JayMAY I would be completely lost.I dont have alot of money just a life of true love for and need to help.I have a love more for dogs then i do for people! If there is any way I can help PLEASE let me know, I would be more then happy to go where yall are doing your great work. Hands on helping is what I truley want to do! Dogs are the ONLY uncondtional love you can recieve!!

  • Hey Canadians across the river buying pets at stores..... STOP! All kinds of breeds and sizes are available from Detroit, and the adoption fees are extremely reasonable. Bringing them over is simple, proof of vaccinations and rabies shots, that's it! Customs are very good with this, and when we adopted a miniature poodle last month (a Detroit Rescue Dog) we didn't even have to get out of the car!

  • Detroit

  • @xxdeejinxx lol u drunk? damn kids..

  • @xxdeejinxx Hey 'zzdeejinxx', YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT, UNCARING, EVIL MOTHER. HUSH IS THE REAL HERO HERE. DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!!! HUSH IS A HERO!

  • @scoobidy Thank you for saying what you did to that bastard. Wonder how he would like to live like some of these dogs do? Personally, I think he deserves just that. Thank god he is in the minority. Most ppl are compassionate caring ppl. I am financially strapped, but I assure you if I had the money, it would be going to help these dogs. Hush is a hero in my book.

  • i feel sick when i think of all these helpless animals on the streets.

  • This is so sad! I am glad you made this video to get the word out.

  • This is so sad! I am gald you made this video to get the word out.

  • what could we do to help???

  • Mayor Bing is A JERK OFF!

  • The puppy mills must be shut down before we can get a handle on the stray dog problem. I sent Oprah a show suggestion with your video link; you can reach her too by googling "contact Oprah" and choose one of the methods to write to her. This is too much to bear, but all animal abuse is too much to bear. I also emailed the mayor there. Thank you so much for at least being there for them...I know you're extremely overwhelmed. My best to you...

  • Neuter Spay & Adopt it's the only way. I have no respect for people that buy puppies when there are 1000's being put to sleep all the time across the UK, America and so many other countries. I wish I could help every animal out there.

  • I saw some obviously well fed an mostly healthy dogs in this video. I question the "50,000" number. I lived in Detroit 12 years and the 4-6 "pack" dogs all had homes, their owners let them run. Yes a few "drop-offs" (we suspect suburban influence) happened, but 50,000?!? Show me, I'm from Ohio! Before you slam a city like Detroit with negative attention, back up your "Facts", Mr. Huxley would be ashamed of your use of his wisdom.

  • wow u think this is bad u havent seen nothing yet ... check out the stray dogs in serbia, bosnia , ppl will kill them for 1 dollar and cut their tails of while they are alive hang them , throw live puppies into rivers eat them .. now thats bad . united states should not even have this problem u have soooo much money shame on the usa goverment shame

  • the people who have no choice but to live in these neighborhoods are in survival mode - they don't have the financial, or emotional resources to care for the problem. And when those of us who DO have the resources try to come in and help (from the suburbs, and predominately white), we get shot down by the city politicians who are motivated by greed, nepotism, entitlement, and racism. They refuse to accept any help (other than cold hard cash) - and so the city gets worse and worse.

  • Thank you for bringing attention to this growing problem and most importantly..thank you for caring...xoxo

  • Detroit is a tough place to be any type of living creature.

Next time I'm up there, I'll take a bag of dog food, a bowl, and leave it in a field where I think dogs may regularly roam. Any stray that made through a Detroit winter deserves alot of TLC.

This is a very sad video, but thanks for posting.

  • God bless you and the dogs.

  • thanx for rescueing them

  • This is the reason everyone should have their pets spayed or neutered. Please don't let your pets breed and send out more strays into the streets. If you don't have the finances to do this, there are many animal shelters and programs that will help you.

  • this is absolutely disgraceful! these poor dogs... led to believe they would be loved and cared for, only to be abandoned by the only people they trusted. forced to canibalism for goodness-sake!! If this isn't the most diminishing thought, I dont know what is. we need to do something, and fast, before this gets even more out of hand, if that's even possible.

  • Looks like they need a few bulldozers and dumptrucks in Detroit to tear down all of those empty buildings... I live in the Pittsburgh, Pa area and the Mon River Valley (where the steel mills used to be.) looks just like this. A wasteland. It goes on for almost thirty or more miles. Town after town is a ghost town. Braddock is in the heart of it and is on the news all the time. Havent seen many stray dogs though.

  • I am from the Bahamas. In Nassau, we have the same problem, maybe worse because it is such a small island. I think it has something to do with the quality of the people in Detroit and in Nassau, who should be ashamed of their lack of compassion.

  • A true animal loiver :-) Respect!!

  • Thank you for this. Detroit should be ashamed for not addressing this issue. The documentary would have brought in money for the city and saved these animals....but it would "cast Detroit in a negative light?" Unbelievable...

  • @pvbandit It's not sickening, it's reality. I rescued my animal from a person who threw him from a moving car window. However I realize that I cannot save them all. Animals are food, plain and simple.

  • Too bad the human garbage who dumped their dogs on the streets as the human garbage evacuated to grandma's house in Chicago, Orlando, Bakersfield, Anyplace... can't be hunted down and killed for being JERKS.

  • This is an epic video for the dogs of Detroit~ and everywhere else for that matter! Politicians and city officials need to address these issues that we as citizens feel so passionately about! Shared on FB to all my rescue friends! Great Video! Great Message!

  • You did an excellent job with this video, but that is only one step towards getting the word out!! Thank you for what you do and for giving a damn!! Most people do NOT!! What can I do to help you from Houston, TX? Keep up the great work!! You're doing an awesome job!!!

  • You're a good man.

  • come get me if u need help i save animal where im from and im willing to meet up and talk about getting more done for this i have other people willing to help as well we need more places open even if its not in Detroit but they can come from there to here.. lets talk thank u god bless u ..

  • I was born, raised and worked in Detroit. It is a wonderful/terrible place needing everyone to work together in seeking the truth. Shining a light on what is, does not exploit - it provides opportunity to move people to action. Hugs to Hush. Spay and neuter your pets. Get rid of the macho attitude of letting your dogs procreate - not worth the hardship for the animal and you are wrong if you think it is a way to make easy money from puppies.

  • I think this video was great. I, too, am a dog rescuer and have more dogs here than I can legally admit to. They are my life. Bravo to Hush313 for trying 2make a difference in the life of a dog. I just wanted to say though that every time i see a video of Detroit like that, it makes me sad. Where did those people go? Why does it look like that? Isnt Detroit a big city? Reminds of New Orleans (the other fogotten city) 'cept there was no hurricane. Both ppl and dogs s/b helped. its not rite.

  • Why can't I have all of these dogs?

  • @hush313 When I first posted, I didn't want to talk about the safer areas in the city. In those areas, pets are usually taken care of. However, I mentioned those previous areas because when (most) people talk about Detroit, they ONLY mention the devastated areas. I know Brightmoor. I've patrolled there 3 years in a row for Angel's Night. It's a sad area. I wish I could do more. The biggest problem I had with your video is it painted ALL of Detroit with the Brightmoor brush. That's unfair.

  • I can't believe some of the responses on here. Hiding behind the guise of internet anonymity sure makes people callous and cold-hearted.

  • Working with a dog rescue out of Detroit, it's clear that unless you've seen the dog problem in Detroit first hand, it's hard to understand how devastating it is. Detroit refuses to recognize the problem, so despite all of the effort that the local rescues put in, the problem continues to heighten. With it becoming increasingly difficult to place bully breeds due to media ignorance, we're all running out of room for more dogs. Unless awareness can be raised, I fear that this can only worsen.

  • It's to bad the mayor is so close minded, if he would have sat down and worked out a way to fund a neutering program through money obtained by the Discovery Channel for the actual show then this could have been a win win. If not that positive at least a starting point on a plan to keep revitalizing this city. This could have been the start of a kennel initiative to begin neutering animals, with a few kennels opening up this means there would be that many more jobs for people in this city. Sad..

  • This is sad. I love dogs and it's a shame Detroit won't do anything and just keeps ignoring this problem.

  • I live west of Detroit and typically get my dogs from the local pound. One time I answered an ad in the free press and picked upa dog for a song just south of 8 Mile. His name was Motown, damn good dog, rot shepahard mix. I think that instead of going to my local pound for my next pooch I will swoop on in to the city and save a soul, or maybe even two, off the streets.

  • @MrScrypts That's really sad, but you are so right! Everyday people visit breeders, kennels, and pounds. How sad is it that you can just take a ride to the city and get a dog?

  • Thank you Hush for caring and showing people the truth. :)
