  • She was hot back then. She looked like an 80s porn star.

  • sadly the virgins in the audience do get to Tully

  • A great promo with no yelling and looking like an ass.

  • One of the greatest wrestlers of all time and hands down the best heel in the Horseman camp.

  • Tully is class.

  • i saw the shoot she did in 2007...(a) SHE'S STILL V-E-R-Y- H-O-T!!!...&...(b) she admitted 2 being only 5'10"-5'11" or so,instead of the 6'-6'1" she was often billed as being in world class/nwa/elsewhere...

  • Tully Blanchard is a preacher now. Blows my mind.

  • How tough can you be, when your woman is taller than you?

  • that guy should put that shirt up on ebay.

he could probably fetch a cool 10, 20 dollars

  • @eslubin I'd buy it.

  • At 0:45, I think she's laughing because, if you listen to the crowd, it sounds like one kid asks: "Is Baby Doll ugly?" Group: "NOOOO!" Kid: "Is Tully ugly?" Group: "YEEEESSS!" And why would a dude be worried about another dude's looks? FAG!

  • wow schivoni had a mustache

  • i love tully blanchard and baby doll great enterview

  • one of the BEST

  • @Absolutely .This was when wrestling was great. The wwe today just plain sucks!!!!

  • @9009titan Whatever happened to Tony Schiavone (I think I spelled it right)? I also miss the old Monday Nitro (on TNT). There was some great wrestling there on that show.

  • @willardlockejr he broadcasts baseball now

  • I watched the Ric Flair & The Four Horsemen dvd a couple of days ago and it gave me a totally new appreciation for the group and made me a fan of Tully Blanchard too.

  • Tully Blanchard was one of the best heals of all time!

  • Jeez Baby Doll looks hot here.

  • Baby Doll wants to laugh so bad.

  • lex lugar is now a christian!! Tully has a prison ministry!!

  • wow look at the mustache on Schevonni, haha

  • :...and that's why Tully Blanchard is the best: because there are a few classy people out there."

That could not have made less sense.

  • @tcapri

You called it - Tully really screwed up his closing line. He also had to stop himself from calling the TV belt the "world heavyweight championship", and he got tongue-tied trying to say "Schiavone". And - let's face it - the whole promo was pretty damn dull, and the live audience pretty much ignored him. Tully's mic skills weren't the best.

  • Now this is SMOOTH!!

  • My personal top 5 combinations in wrestling (Singles stars)

    1) Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman

    2) Tully/Baby Doll

    3) Jimmy Garvin/Precious

    4) Great Kabuki/Gary Hart

    5) Ric Flair/ JJ Dillon

  • THIS was when wrestling was at its best!

Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll were a fantastic combination. I remember watching the old NWA/Jim Crockett shows when I was a kid.

Nothing can ever recapture or top that time. Especially, the Four Horseman.

  • Yowza, to quote Ric Flair from a Great American Bash promo several years back... "Whooo Baby Doll lookin' so fine..."

  • baby doll looks like she knows how to please a man back in the 80's but i heard she recently got fired from walmart on black friday for refusing to do a price check

  • Damn, a lovely belt on a excellent heel....he was a memorable heel (aside from Owen Hart)......

  • the master of the slingshot suplex.

  • tully would look real good with a chinese made dress on his voice sounds just like a girl

  • One of the best Heels in the business.

  • Tully was a great heel....he really knew how to get under the fan's skin...great on the mic and in the ring

  • yep!

  • Agreed. In the age of where everyone is inside to the business, rarely anyone these days has the ability to annoy or make the fans hate you bad enough to buy a ticket to see them get their ass kicked. The only guys that incite legit hate from fans today are CM Punk and Chris Jericho. Everyone else gets cheered as the "cool heel" thanks to jackasses like Vince Russo.

  • Can I try and get a Tully Blanchard t-shirt like that guy or is it hopeless? I'd imagine it would go for 6 figures on EBay...

  • baby doll is working at a walmart in north carolina

  • I want a Tull Blanchard T Shirt

  • For some reason, the TV belt was always my favorite. It didn't look like any of the other belts. You can't beat the Silver and Red!

  • I always had the most respect for the TV title just for the fact that technically, the champion was supposed to defend it on television every week. That,in my book, makes him the hardest working wrestler on the roster.Saw some great matches on Saturday night. . . .Jr.Heavyweight champ "Downtown"Denny Brown versus Tully and "White Lightning"Tim Horner versus Arn Anderson both for the TV strap.I would love to have held that title, that and the Missouri heavyweight title.

  • I wonder if that guy still wears that shirt. I totally would while nailing my wife. I'd make her call me Tully.

  • i believe vince mcmahon had tully tested when he found out that he was leaving wwf. effectively ending his career..... he and arn never should have left wcw to follow flair who came right back... grrrr....

  • Your timeline is a bit off. Tully & Arn came to the WWF long before Ric Flair did.

  • off the top of my head,me thinks 1988 for the"Brainbusters"(dammit,I hated that name)and 1991 for Flair.....correct?

  • Correct. BTW, I hated the Brainbusters name.

  • I didn't here a word Tully said. Baby Doll was looking 80's fine!

  • Tully was great but that was a shit interview. He was talking in circles.

BTW, I agree with all028. The TV belt was a stupid title to have ... just like all the dumb titles the WWE has today.

  • the tv title meant something before all these ppvs and weekday shows

  • greatest Tshirt ever!

  • That is me in that shirt! I was in PW Illustrated and the Mid-Atlantic magazine with that shirt. WOW. I have the VHS tape and saw it on the Horsemen DVD... now I am immortalized on YouTube. I have some of my own videos on here, search wolffbird7

  • I always thought the TV belt was the dumbest belt.

What does it represent? Champion of all TV stations....

  • I think the TV title was only defended in events taped for TV.

Blanchard was one great wrestler at any rate.

  • Yes, it was to be defended on TV every week as I recall.

I never said Blanchard was not a good wrestler....I just said the TV belt was dumb

  • well not really becuase i remember in wwf hulk hogan would only be on PPV so you need some type of a title to be on the line week in week out

  • Supposed to be the best wrestler on television.

  • haha

  • GOD I miss the 80's.

  • the 80s were way better than the 90s with all the p------ rock music and 2000's with No rock music and bald headed skinheads running around

  • What "it" is is a promoters son, who never would have made it had other promoters not owed his daddy joe a favour...please, blanchard was a mid card guy pushed as a top card guy because of who his dad was.

  • Even though he was a promoter's son which most people found out later, he was a talented, hard working individual who made the most out of his skills and talent. He also had a great mind for wrestling b/c he grew up in the industry. Before he came to the Mid-Atlantic he was a top star in TX. Back then you can tell he had that certain "something".

  • Your an idiot. Tully was a class act all the way. Sure, Tully's dad was a promoter, but so were alot of other wrestlers dad's, The Von Erichs, the Funks, Greg Gagne, Mike Graham, & Jeff Jarrett. Tully got over huge in more then just his father's SWC promotion he also got over big time in the NWA & WWF, his dad could not do that for him.

  • Tully could talk and was great in the ring...what else do you need?

  • In the wrestling business there is a term, and in today's internet and smartmark age, I'm sure everybody knows it, but the term is "it." You either have "It" or you don't. Without it you don't even have a chance of making it in the business. This interview is a classic example of what "it" is.

  • baby doll come with me you look good back then and still look good come with a n

  • old school heel..even dropping the word "indignant" in an interview..classic..

  • legend of the mat

  • tully was what a heel should be....great mic skills...being a heel but maintaining a sense of class...Great stuff

  • i love Schiavone's porn star 'stache lol

  • Blanchard is a runt. LOL. Baby Doll is 5'10" and the Perfect 10.

  • Whoah!! sh8t!!! this is Tully Blanchard at the age of 31?? I cant believe how much older he looks than 31 years of age. He lookslike he could be 48 years old. But oh well professional wrestlers dont age well due to their high ammount of anger, stress and steroids. Has anyone seen Tully Blanchard now?? He lookslike he is 70 years old even though he is 54

  • Actually, Tully looks pretty good right now.

  • I kinda think Tully looks better now then he did then.... Maybe I'm the only one. I don't know. I love Tully Blanchard. He's amazing.

  • tully is a preacher now and so is sting

    body slamming for jesus!!!

  • wow...baby doll was the quintessential 80s fox. of corz shes a lil haggard now,but glad shes alive and well.

  • Nicola is so sexy!

  • I want that damn shirt LOMA!

  • John cena should watch this video so he can see what a real champion looks like and what a real title belt looks like/hint it doesnt spin around like a childs toy

  • do you think cena could match up with tully

  • tully would kick his ASS!

  • Tully would Texas catch can Cena's ass to the ground!

  • lol, exactly.

  • FUCK NO! NOT EVER, man.

  • In the ring Tully buried Cena in ability, he could match up with anyone. However in a legitimate fight Cena would kill the 50 year old Blanchard lol

  • AGREED!

  • yea i wish John Cena would act liket hat when the fans boo him, tully blanchard knows how to handle the heat amd handle it well

  • @ironsheik7 AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ironsheik7 LOl that is so true.

  • @ironsheik7 very true

  • BabyDoll was with Tully Blanchard! I didn't know that! An I watched the NWA back in those days!

  • why is it though out his career...the unpredictable "dick" slater...always pinned his opponent with his crotch dead in his opponents face...he sat on there chest alot too...

it was 'funny' and uncomfortable to watch all at once...

very unsettling...then he started to bitch about why he was out of the title picture...

thank goodness there was Tully Blanchard....

  • I love it. They actually had a 'World Television Champion'. Those were the days.

  • I used to love when Baby Doll would just look into the camera. It's as if she was looking just at me. :-)

  • Those were the days, NWA had the gift of giving each belt so much meaning

  • That's because, unlike the WWE now, belts didn't change hands every week.

  • Exactly and the NWA made the champion legit no matter if face or a heel. It was not all about the good guy always winning, The good guy always winning gets boring well to me. And we had less midcarders in those days, Sure we had jobbers but thanks to the importance of the top 10 guys it was something very special

  • Tully Blanchard is bad ass

  • No scripts jus a badass attitude. Tully was the man

  • babydoll was so classy she didnt need to show her tits to be loved by the fans i thought she was beautiful and still is in my book .

  • @bigbadge107 - Her only problem was that she couldn't cut a promo to save her life. But I loved me some Baby Doll. For sure. :-)

  • ifso many people loved the old days so much ( including myself )how come tv want pick up on an old time promoter of wrestling and give us what we want real wrestling . because real wrestling fans can do without all the smut and tits and ass thats why

  • There was just one class person in that audience.

  • Tully was the shit!!!!!!

  • lol @ the clowns in the audience throughout the interview...

  • Babydoll was a fox.

  • lmao ! lmao ! i definitely want a tully t-shirt ! what a great posting and a great caption !! wheeee !!

  • I would give alot for a "Tully Blanchard is #1" t-shirt.

    WOW.

  • tully was a great heel. he would have fit into the million dollar man gimmick.

  • The Good Old Days....I miss them a lot. The McMahon monopoly ruined the sport in so many ways.

  • wcw was a branch of the nwa that actually became wcw in the early 90s...when it started to suck...wwe got the mainstream audience but up til 88-89 NWA ruled with better matches and talent.

  • i thought wcw started in 1988 but it says 1985 on ur description any help im confused

  • WCW started out as Jim Crockett Promotions/Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. Then Crockett bought out the Georgia,Florida,UWF,and Central States franchises. They were all NWA affiliated. But when Turner took over he merged all of the territories and WCW was born.

  • Tully is hands down the perfect Heel, he can wrestle flawlessly, cut fantastic promos and basically put over anyone he steps into the ring with

  • tully screwed up schivone's name lol

  • Tully Blanchard is the man, son!

  • This guy can cut an ill promo and still be smooth

  • I wish I was even born yet when this was happening. I'd totally go out and buy a Tully Blanchard t-shirt.

  • Baby doll actually looks pretty good there.

Nice suit Tully ,did you sell any cars today?
