I have the Tribute to the Carter family by Bill Clifton, early sixties ,has some great music on it and Bill certainly did not get the due credit for his music.That's sad .
I first heard Bill when I bought his record Little White Washed Chimney, in the early 60's. He's been my favorite singer since that time. He should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Been a fan & friend of Bill's since 1950's. Had the pleasure and privelige to Bring him (with Red Rector) to Northern Ireland way back in the early 70s
I just came to this culture because of the brain surgery vid. I love large bass and banjo so I'm ecstatic. Strings rule!

I like his style I think he told me that it's called traverse style picking, he got it from steel guitar payers.
