  • @lefteris1208 Some one is an attention whore.

  • @lefteris1208 2 months later and not 1 thumb up. womp womp woooomp!

  • it kinda sucks that this band hasn't made any new music for like...4 years.

makes me wonder if their contract with victory expired, cuz you usually have deadlines to produce.

  • my friends say ska cant be party music. pfft, wtf are they talking about

  • @guitarbass95 Pfft, seriously? I know if I were throwing a party then I wouldn't know what else to play other than ska.

  • @JJPenrod hell yes brother!

  • fun fact: ryan and kevin wrote half the songs on Keasbey Nights. WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?

  • @SidMcCall Ryan wasn't in the band when Keasbey was recorded and Kevin helped Tomas write songs in some songs. It doesn't matter thought because Catch 22 is still good.

  • some post-tomas catch songs are great. this is definitely not one of them. this song blows!

  • @gutzs you blow.

  • Such a good album.

  • yeah=/ so much

  • Yea im tired of getting Fisted too

  • this is a really good song

  • ugh. catch 22 was so much fucking better with tom. im sorry, i cant even listen to this whole song here. WAY to pop-ish

  • amen to that

  • whats the difference between catch 22 and streetlight manifesto!?!? arent they the same band!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • after kalnoky left it became a totally different band

  • Tom was in catch first but they had issues so he and some of them left and made streetlight manifesto

Some streetlight songs are about there times together

"If you hate me so much then stop singing my songs"

  • The lead singer/songwriter Tom Kalnoky left Catch 22 to go to a University and or got kicked out for doing so, different views on the matter.

Essentially he never got back with the Catch 22 guys and created Streetlight Manifesto and took back the songs that he wrote.........

  • No way man, their entirely separate. Catch 22 was Thomas Kalnoky's original band which he later left with a few other members right behind him and started Streetlight Manifesto after being joined by a few other new members. Their first debut album in 2001, I believe, called Everything Went Numb gained them a small, very dedicated, following. Catch 22 with the lack of a good song writer (as you can see) ate dirt a few years ago.

  • Catch 22 is still around, they just played with the Pietasters and the Might Mghty Bosstones in Asbury last August.

  • Oh ok, true, sorry about that man.

  • They put on a great show!

  • no-.- catch 22 and streetlight r completly different... tomas kalnoky USED to be in catch for keasbey nights... he wrote the hole album in fact... but then he left and catch ended up like this while streetlight are just awesome!

  • You're talking like this isn't good.

  • no its pretty ok!! just preferred there older stuff thats all!!!

  • they were alot better with kalonky

  • @silentassasin24

lets just say they are different with tomas

i think now they sound like reel big fish and thats one of the best ska bands i know.

  • cause it isn't

  • is catch 22 really a commie band?

  • Commie? lol. That's very.... 1955. You could argue they are. They, like many phony "punk" bands (and don't get me wrong I like them) claim to have socialist/communist sympathies but in all reality are big capitalists when it comes to albums. Some of the more traditional and true punk bands could certainly be called socialist sympathizers although they would probably not like to be given such a label.

  • I like these guy's older stuff but as for this... I'm not so sure. I'll have to check out the album. Not exactly hopeful.

  • ya i agree. kesbian nights was amazing

  • 1:12 all the way on the top right is me! :D this was such a fun video shoot.

  • Catch 22 has improved so much since Kalnoky left. They're so much more fun now!

  • Wrong

  • And what is your argument against my statement? They don't have the same old songs? They aren't Streetlight Manifesto? Tomas Kalnoky isn't in the band?

  • yes.yes indeed.

  • man this song blows donkey dick, i saw catch 22 live right after they came out with dinosaur sounds and they were good but the singer forgot a bunch of lyrics and all of the new songs were watered down shit. Without the old singer this is just a catch 22 cover band that happens to make shitty new songs as well.

  • catch 22 and streetlight are both amazing bands, two of my favourites, and i love how catch 22 used to sound but i also love how they sound now, permanent revolution is a fucking AMAZING album, so well written and executed it's inspiring!

  • Tom K was the best thing to happen to this band=/

Although, it is good to see them break away from that stigma... but come on lets just admit it... Tom K is the man...

  • he is the man!

  • TOM K SHOULD HAVE MY BABIES.

And heck, I'm a guy, think about the ladies!

  • Glad to see they're still together and still making music! ^^

  • Catch is still doing well for themselves I see. 5 stars!

  • a great song in a great album about a great man (Trotsky)

  • This mixing for the audio on this video is terrible, but the video is ok otherwise. A good song, but they cut out the intro from the cd which I LOVE.

  • great album, rubbish video but who cares really

  • this video wasn't that great.

  • This is actually a good song. A nice change of pace from the train wreck that was "Dinosaur Sounds"

  • I don't understand why everyone hates Dinosaur Sounds? if a band that wasn't named "Catch 22" came up with that album, everyone would think its pretty damn good, but because its not "Keasbey Nights" everyone downs it. Personally I think each one of Catch 22 albums are great in there own way. They change their sound with each album but still keep their core which I think great and shows their creativity.

  • My favorite album would have to be "Alone In the Crowd" or "Permanent Revolution". I can sit and listen to those two albums all day. after them I would say Dinosaur Sounds or Washed Up then Keasbey Nights. Dont get me wrong Keasbey Nights is a great first album but i prefer the other albums.

  • totally dude. everyone is too caught up in the whole anti catch pro streetlight thing. they are both good bands, although i have to admit alot of the talent left with kalnoky

  • It's true that everyone is too into anti-catch 22, pro-Streetlight charade. I enjoy both bands, and I've seen both of them live. I've met Catch, and I've hung out with most of the guys from Streetlight at their concert. I would consider the Catch 22 concert more memorable.

  • Dinosaur Sounds had a couple decent tracks on it (Lamont's Lament). But you are correct, Permanent Revolution is Far, Far better than Dinosaur Sounds.

  • Dude. Dreams of Venus. 'nuff said. The CD wasn't bad, I enjoyed it. So they took a different route from Keasby, so what? Their stuff is still good. We got two good bands for the price of one. If they decided to continue the route, we'd have two bands that sound the same.

  • cool trotskyist song!

  • catch 22 rocks

  • ...and we can keep this party going for the rest of our lives! \o/

  • lovvvee it

  • Yay Catch 22!
