Beautiful tribute, but i would've preferred a much greater focus on Holy-Tyson I than Lewis-Tyson. Since Tyson was just a shot zombie against Lewis, & the Holyfield fight is more significant, plus it was a war.

wow thats all i can say to the 2 vids gp has done they are incredible, for me personally there was an 18 mth period when tyson unified the division and he was untouchable, lack of training and dedication led to his buster downfall a fight he actually won as douglas count was over 13 seconds but by the by, if possible i say forget the shit and just admire the athlete that at one point in time was the best heavyweight of all time and was champion at 20 yrs old fucking 20 unbelievable

This shit is sad.... man.... You can see he was not the same man he was before... he took his beating like a man. Seeing a fighter that was once great.... he achieved everything a fighter could ever want... and THEN SOME in his prime... Short lived but it's unfortunate he will never be mentioned amongst the likes of Ali,Robinson, and Louis. The Tyson story is about a fighter of WHAT COULD'VE BEEN... Such a shame.

@BoxingPride i agree it is more disappointing than sad because he had such high expectations that were never reached, but i suppose that based on his popularity he will always be mentioned among the biggest and best fighters off all time. I invite you to consider Mike to be a manufactured fighter created by the media, great potential but hugely overrated.

Yeah he got beat up, but he had been partying every night before the fight, and had absolutely no focus at the time. He was visibly out of shape, and didn't even have a trainer. That's right in the time where his life was spiralling out of control.

great shape, but anyone who's seen all of tyson's fights will tell you that he was not nearly as good as he was before prison. Tyson was probably still very close to or still in his physical prime for the holyfield fight but he was still just never the same.

I've already seen, and been in these discussions time and time again. I'm done with it. The truth is that his best win was over a scared Michael Spinks. Nobody really knows the limitations of the young and focused Mike Tyson. You can bash him all you want, I don't care. I'm not one of those idiots who calls Mike Tyson the greatest of all time.

@joeclemm15 he was not in great shape, he thought he was. When tyson was with rooney, rooney had him do 1000's of situps and pressups and dips and 100's of pullups. When he fired rooney he thought that weights would be better and then rest is history.
