I played this song about 3 days before my grandma died of COPD and other complications of being a smoker even tho she had quit 11 years earlier.... this song soothed her and calmed here in many ways and I know she's watches over me and guides me, now I am dating a Senior Airman in the USA Air Force and I know she had a hand in that and would be so very proud! @aymz2 It's nice what you say but I guess it's not true at all. It's not any GOD figure who think our thoughts and act and react - WE are. And for some people the first step to explain is to sing a song and for some it's to keep their own world in best shape, they take care of each other. THATS our challenge. GOD doesn't exist in THAT way - as a separated beiing... this is a fairytale of old times and now its on us to realize, that WE are responsible for what is happen on earth.

Today was my grandmoms funeral. Someone made a picture video of her and this song was in it. I was extremely close to her which makes me love this song. She ws 92 and suffering for over a year. I'd never heard of this band B4 'til last week. I'm an English teacher from Brazil n was introduced to this band by one of my students who is a teacher in a public school and used the song 'Need you Now' to discuss drinking n drowning oneself in alcohol in hard and difficult moments instead of searching for other alternatives. My wife just emailed me this link. Besides that fact that my internet is not quiet fast enough to load the entire video, it is very touching. I am in Iraq right now and I have over 10 months left here. I have spent very little of my marriage at home with her and we are expecting a little baby boy right after Christmas and I wont be there to see it born. This song just reminds me that it is all worth it.
