  • you better not pay for the one day shipping

    that craps a rip off

  • Phhfff that's including a bunch of displays and software idiot

  • @relent107luke i could build a pc with the same processing power, components, software, etc... for about 1/5 the price of this thing... jussayin

  • @Bomb1525 Proof.

  • its 32gb of ram "ECC", not the same ram you use , google for it, its a server machine, not meant for people but for business, dell offer something similar with "alienware" where 12gb of ram cost 1200$, and quadro gpu are video editing not for gaming, aniway new mac-pros have 12cores(dual 6-core xeon "i9"), not all people need so much power, but i bet someone would buy it just to play on facebook LOL

  • damn that cpu is stronger than the Cell processor

  • with probly less then half of that I can buy 8tb ram for windows :P

  • fuck MAC

  • You don't even read what you are ticking for, nobody would buy 32GB RAM, it's way too much. I have 8 GB on my Windows PC and it's even more than I need! The Quadro graphic card is also 100% waste of money unless your enough retarded to buy one since it's like $1500. If you are investing so much in a Graphic Card get a GTX 590 or Radeon 6990.

  • @MrFingertricks Some people do indeed use 32GBs of RAM, Just not you.

  • if you had that computer you would have been able to add sound to this video.

  • The big-o for the win at 18,000 with a PS3 or xbox 360 in it and it's liquid cooled check it out guys and plz thumb this up so ppl can see this awesome computer!!

  • $1000 of that was for the corporate server OS, he also picked 2 30" Displays which are $1600 a piece (I think they are now anyway)

  • apple is a scam ofc

  • Is extremely stupid to add all stuff, like you will need everything you add, just build a mac or pc with the stuff you need retard

  • for fuck's sake i've seen 2 bedroom apartments for that price

  • Besides, what is the point of 8 cores for gaming? Most games don't even use all four cores properly (unlike Grand Theft Auto IV). Up to date there is no game that will be able to use that power (except Grand Theft Auto IV - it uses all the power it can get)

  • who the fuck needs a modem?

  • Hmm, I put together a similar system. Only thing is I selected 4gb more ram (36GB) along with 6tbs of space. Price? 2,900$

  • WTF. Can buy villa in portugal for that money.

  • $27,240? Who cares! The maxed out Xserve is $89,946! That's 90k!

  • hey my dad is using his macbook air and the 4 gb ram he bought is for just $40... its from mac but when he accident broke the glass panel on the laptop screen, he was charged $700 to fix that crap, now he gave it to me and i did d.i.y repair

  • lmfao 16GB = $500 / 32GB = $3700

    LMFAO?

  • So fucking worth it, its a beats

  • $14,390.31 for 2x Xeon X5677, 96GB RAM and also 2x 4GB Quadro...

  • @PS2Gameplays quadros suck i could just get 4 gtx480s in sli for the same memory and price and twice the proccessing power

  • @TheGuiletech Quadros don't suck, they're meant for 3D and Video Rendering and they do it much better than the GTX480. 3 months ago the GTX480 wasn't even out...

  • @PS2Gameplays i wasnt talking about geraphic design but also the quadro has a mac version so whatevr. nvidia.com/object/product_quadro_fx_4800_for_mac_us.html

  • Nice joke

  • You may not wish to buy all at once. For example, you can upgrade video-card today, add 3 more HDDs next week, add RAID card within a month. And, speaking about RAM, - there is many Apple certified RAM chips with a pricing a lot less than that of Apple. For example, you can buy 32 GB of RAM for about $1000, and this is a certified RAM.

So, I think there is nothing to worry about. I myself recently bought MA970RS, and still using standart configuration after a month has passed.

  • hahaha i did this once

  • who the fuck would buy that ?

  • my dad has one of thoes 27k macs, for his office

  • @herefortheheckofit no one cares what type of computer your dad has at his office. Make a comment about the computer or something valuable.

I think its a great machine though.

  • @mnaitz I understand your comment

  • can someone give this for my birthday >?? XD

  • I can get a used great condition BMW for less than that

  • people that buy that kind machine ( I did) have already a high end bmw (I do)

  • @neonsector What type of bmw do you have? I am just in love with the new 750li

  • 745Li

  • way to go! you clicked on a bunch of stuff that you wouldn't even use anyways

  • thats what was gonna say, he bought 2 30" displays and he probably doesnt even know what those programs are

  • haha oh my godness

  • so what?

  • so thats why you are running a PC? lol

  • an x-serve configured to the max on the apple website is 87,000 dollars!!

  • Add Logic Studio Pro and Final Cut Studio to the price!

  • ALIENWARE!

  • see, isn't windows great!? you had difficulty highlighting at the end if the video!

  • With Internet Explorer 8 he would double click on it and in would highlight...

  • yeah I can do that throughout the Mac OS, 2 clicks to highlight the word, 3 to highlight all surrounding text. and if I drag, it has "intelligent text select" and selects by columns if they are present.

  • @kylevk yeah whats so intelligent about text selecting if you know where to place the mouse its just as easy on windows 3x

  • ok, Nice

Mac is good but, Has A gamer, i prefer windows...

  • @kylevk Video is made with a Windows..

  • better than almost any windows machine!

  • you better not hit the "Buy Now" button by accident :p

  • @Chiflado21 noob

  • @7715z Why would you call him a noob? I didn't see anything noobish about what he just said.. -.-

  • @Chiflado21 Rofl. But wouldn't it take you to add credit card now or something. If it doesn't cause you have an Apple account, imagine the look on your face when you see a credit card bill. O_O

  • You'd have to be a complete idiot to add all the options. Apple charges WAY too much for their components.

$3700 for 32 Gb of RAM??!!! Bullshit.

  • @DC200560

Maybe buying a Mac is an idiotic thing to begin with.

  • @DC200560 I would rather just go to newegg and purchase 32GB RAM for like... 1/3 that price.

  • @DC200560 yeah well go make 32 gb of ram yourself then you know why it costs that much..

  • I can buy 32gb of ram right now for 425 bucks

  • @DC200560 yeah dude only a retard would do that! just buy yourself.

  • @DC200560 450 is the most id ever pay for that much.

  • @DC200560 lol i could probobly buy twice as much as that for a few hundred

  • Who would pay for everything? The Mac Pro is awesome but is expensive!

  • No, Mac Pro is an overprice piece of trash.

  • How many cores and how much RAM does your computer? Hmm?

Apple is the best and I don't care what you say. You just can't afford a good computer and think none of us Mac users don't know how to use computers just because we don't have random errors and .dll errors and things.

  • I own my own business, we have multiple 12 core systems with 32gb of ram. each one costs less than half a Mac Pro.

  • The Mac Pro will boot faster if you are running Vista on your 12 core things there.

  • We don't run Vista.

  • Oh in that case you've got some great computers there? What brand are they?

  • We built them, they run windows server. Do you know anything about computers at all?

  • Windows Server is awesome. Seems like some top of the line computers. What job do you have where you need 12 cores?

And yes, I do know things about computers. I've build some and programed them with my own versions of Linux. I'm just about 13 though so no I am not a pro.

  • I highly doubt a person who thinks Mac Pros are good computers would have any real experience with Linux.

  • Well I do.

  • sure you do, you can keep telling yourself that.

  • Hey, were you programming computers when you were three?

You apparently can't even use proper grammar.

  • Are you serious? There are no grammatical errors in any of my comments, and if there are any I just did catch (to lazy to look carefully) it doesn't hinder the message I'm trying to communicate, which is completely appropriate for a medium of communication like the internet.

No I haven't programmed since I was three... Have you?

  • you are NOT PRO

  • I'd rather run Linux Ubuntu: Server Edition 9.10...

  • It's based on the demands of the client, its best when we can go to open source as much as possible.

  • Yea, true. But also personal preferences as well.

  • do the same with a Cray CX1, about 100k

  • Lol i can do every thing with my 500 $ quad core pc

  • Do you mean you do everything that you CAN do with your $500QC PC?

  • yeah offcourse

  • always buy bare bones from apple, then upgrade yourself. apple overprices their stuff. you could probably save about 10,000 dollars or more getting parts from newegg or something like that.

  • Its really expensive to get Mac parts elsewhere then customizing it on Apple's website. OH, and its hard to upgrade macs.

  • not really...they're basically PC parts...

  • Why it's hard to upgrade macs???

  • do you have a mac? if u do, then you'll know how hard it is

  • I have an imac actually, but the mac pro is designed to be upgraded.

  • but its expensive and takes skill

  • expensive?yes.

    takes still? a little.

  • The 64 Bit OS allows the system to use up to sixteen Terabytes of RAM so quit complaining about things you all don't research, its only Vista thats holding most computers back.

  • (this is real): my cousin just configured a Mac Pro at a co-apple retailer (i think it was MacMall or so).

He put in the 2x2.93 ghz, he skipped the 1TB upgrade, put in 32 GB of ram, RAID card, apple care, two 30" monitors, NVIDIA geforce Gt120 graphics and a few programs

total cost for him was nearly $16,000....but he has the Visa Juniper card which lets him pay monthly

    Monthly Cost= nearly $812.30 + 14% annual interest...owch

he was stupid for buying it but it's a BEAST!

  • Imagine gaming on that piece of shit, lol...

  • The gaming is phenomenal! I have 2.

  • Mac Pro

Two 2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 32GB ddr3 (FROM APPLE), *Mac Pro RAID Card*, 1Tb 7200 SATA HD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB, One 18x SuperDrive, AppleCare

    $13,048.00

    HP

    2x Xeon X5570 2.93, 32gb (FROM HP), 1Tb SATA 7200, Quadro NVS 295 256MB , 16X DVD+-RW, IEEE 1394b FireWire, 3 year warranty

    $15,642.00

  • well, you saved $30 on .mac account at least...

  • Yo, I just went on the Apple site and configured a Mac Pro with everything, literatly, I put everything you could put on it from the site and the cost came out to be $19,356.85, looks like they dropped the price.

  • 32gb of ram?? Do you really think the mac actually uses even half of that?

  • lol probubly not, just cause the motherboard supports it, doesnt mean the OS uses it, waste of money

  • man you are talking for the programs..the full mac pro cost 12.207 and have 32gb ram,2 * 2.93 quad core intel xeon, two 18* super drive, 4* nvidia geforce gt120,

    4TB hard disc, RAID card

Fibre Channel Card and Wireless Options

  • i think your house is on fire!

  • you could make it more expensive if you added the 300GB 15,000-rpm SAS harddrive instead of the 1TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s.

  • When you buy Apple stuff, you have to know where to get it. You can pay about 7000 for the same stuff just because you bought parts else where. Eg : Get the ram at MacSale, the raid card from Caldigit, the HDD from newegg. The cpu are cheaper at apple store, and the video card use an EFI and are pretty hard to get in other retail stores.

  • your a dumb fuck if you paid $27,240.95

  • well if he have lots of money, why would he do that

  • You added monitors, programs, keyboards, mouses, man, c'mon, be honest.

  • if you knew how much money one of these can make in the hands of a capable professional, you wouldn´t find it expensive!

  • Cheap i'm getting one...need to know more about 30 inch apple cinema display...it's freakin me out...

  • wow what a rip off. you could get a top of the line alienware for 2400 and it would it can run crysis right away nothing exta needed. Even at price a 2400$ alienware is still probably 10 times better.

  • The top of the line alienware computer has a max ram of 4GB, how would 8X the amount of ram be 10X Worse than an alienware... I'm on an alienware right now and it's got more bugs than you could believe, I'm switching to mac on my next computer.

  • you are a noob. you know nothing and should stfu.

  • this its not for noob games idiot this is for work

  • First of all computers only read 4gb of ram the rest is only used for servers.

Second Alienwares are way better and maybe you would have less bugs if you didn't look at porn all the time. it is probably good your switching to a mac because macs are for porn anyway that is why they are white.

Third PCs are for work also where did Microsoft Office originate. you know the number 1 most used office program used today.

Fourth macs suck and NASA, The military, and US Government use PCs.

  • First of all... computers read more than 4gb noob its called 64bit...

All the rest you say is true.

  • 1. 4GB of RAM max? You're stupid. It's called 64-bit and OS X is 64-bit.

    2. You don't really prove your argument why Alienware is better. TBH, Alienware is over priced crap. It's better to build your computer.

    3. Microsoft Office was crap back when it started. People used COREL software (Wordperfect).

    4. If Macs suck then why do most of the computers at CERN run on Mac OS X? CERN is doing more for science than George Bush's government ever will.

  • apple rips off the parts because they only use specific parts...but you can do your research just like if you were to upgrade a PC and the total will come to less at lease 10000 less

  • Apple do only use specific parts which makes them better and more expensive. No buggy drivers! Everything works as all the software was written for it correctly. Macs carry a heavy tag but think about how long they last. My mac is two years old and runs nearly every game out (not at full specs 50% for brand new games) not bad for a notebook if you ask me!

  • Lmfao lying noob... notebooks dont even run the new games when theyre new at 50%

  • lol the fact that you use the word noob means that you know fuck all. My new MBP runs crysis all on high. The give away that you are idiot is the fact that you have no idea how good the MacBook Pro cards are (they aren't as good as desktops, notebooks never will be).

  • You seriously.. do not know a thing shh

  • Wow, you're a dumbass. I have one of the older MacBook Pro's with only an 8600GT in it and I can run Crysis on high. The newer aluminum/glass ones have 2 graphics cards in them (9400 and 9600). I bet your desktop doesn't even compare to this.

  • Seriously... you know nothing.. 8600gts in the first place cant run crysis on high and especially.. a notebook.. notebooks are underclocked so that they dont over heat..

    and a 9400 and 9600 = shit..

    btw...

    my pc is

    Cpu: Q6600

    Motherboard: Asus striker 2 extreme

    Ram: 4 gig ocz ddr2 800

    Graphics card: crossfiredx2 4870x2

  • 9400 and 9600 combined on a desktop couldnt run crysis high

    kthxbai

  • this is a mac pro,all that configuration is just like a server... and dont forgot that a pc wont suport all these configuration...

  • lol madeonamac u are a noob u could get all that stuff on a pc for about 4k maybe less so how bout you stfu...

  • but microsoft support and products and os really piss you off

  • Then again, you are getting a massive piece of technology. It would cost about the same to get the same stuff you are asking for on a PC. You can't compare the price of the products alone. You can however compare the prices of similar systems with similar hardware. If you can do that, then I'd be much more satisfied with your results.

  • Mac is a PC.... Personal Computer get it right.

  • Yah, but the debate is still Mac vs PC so I figured I'd use it in that context.

  • People say Mac VS PC to differentiate Apple from anyone else... You didn't know that?

  • loool, in norway that mac costs about 170.000 NOK (norwegian kroner) its about $34.000

  • wow, that's like thousands of Dell computers :D

  • Lol. Thats what I did on the website too. Cost more than a car

  • damn and its a computer, I'd get a car

  • i do that all the time i once made it yen lol

  • I got it 40.000 just fooling around lol.

  • lol wow

  • This is nothing but bs. Subtracting all the uneeded costs for the average professional who still wants a strong workhorse will shave $10,000 or even more from the cost. (excl. monitors and softwares).

  • software is already plural, just to let you know...

  • holy shit i knew macs were expensiv but this is ridiculous

  • I agree

  • only the graphic card costs 2400 bucks, and it have 1.5 gb of memory, please people this is a extreme computer. I would love to pay that fee to get that kind of comp.

  • RAM is so expensive

  • noob.... 4gb of ram off the net is $100

  • i can find 4gb of really shitty ram for $50, but i want real ram, so i'm gonna pay $300.

  • 4Gb of Ocz Ram is $104

    kthxbai

    (OCZ is best brand)

  • 4Gb of Hi.Q Kingston Ram is $300

but it lasts more than 5 years 24/7

  • you talking ddr2?

    or?

    ddr3?

  • i'm talking about ECCDDR2 FB-DIMMs.

they're pretty rare to find, that's why they cost so much. but they can work 24/7 all the time you want and no one cell is gonna be damaged.

  • What the FUCK are you talking about? $104 HAHHAA XD!!!!!!

I paid $45, their best 4gb ram is $60, what country are you in?

  • aust.

  • Ahh, currency is a bitch. Lol.
