  • There's always something about this song that really made me wanna cry but also made me feel Christmas is sooo special! Thanks for sharing this song...I love it!

  • @anfranz The instrumental version has a similar effect for myself. Merry Christmas to you!

  • Excellent. Thank you, and Merry Christmas.

  • @q1000101 You are most welcome. merry Christmas to you.

  • Wow, for whatever reason, it hit me a few days ago that THIS was the ONLY Christmas song I wanted to hear this year. I can't get it out of my head and I'm Glad!!

    Thanks YouTube!!!!!

  • Yes! Finally -- THE original!!! (Too many misleading Peanuts-wanna-be-included on here.) My thoughts: you simply cannot improve on perfection

  • @eml1960 way too many

  • This brings back childhood Christmas memories.

  • Happy Christmas!

  • FINALLY! I couldn't find this version ANYWHERE! Thanks so much (:

  • @Aidyoos1 You are quite welcome. Merry Christmas to you!

  • Love this song !!!

  • beautiful song

  • here we go! i found it. Love this song....want my kids to hear it, ty for posting it properly.

  • I'm not sure why this song seems so sad...

  • @Zinlol I can't figure it out either. Especially after Christmas, it seems twice as sad.

  • check out Meaghan Smith version of Silver Bells and It Snowerd Lastnight.

  • Charly Brown has been a part of my life now since it first came out on TV and now I'm 64 and playing all of them to my Grandaughter hoping she will pass it on some day.

To me it is a very peacefull warm sounds that seem to make you let your worries go for a few minutes. I think we all need that sometimes. Keep Charly Brown !

  • My favorite christmas song!

  • Peanuts forever down with Spongebob.

  • this song makes me cry. :)

  • I just love this song soooo very much, thank you for posting the REAL DEAL!!!!

  • For some reason this depresses me. It's a wonderful song it's just with every year people lose Christmas spirit and only care about material things.

  • @HeyMyNameKevin u hit the nail right on the head! Christmas isnt much for me anymore! just me and my folks and then watching the neighbors opening presents

  • Oddly somber, yet so beautiful... Merry Christmas everyone

  • This song reminds me of a quiet December evening, with a warm drink while looking outside the window while snow is freshly falling.

  • wow, thanx for posting this! i looked all over the place for this version and this is the best i've seen! (:

  • @whizkafa You are quite welcome.

  • @whizkafa das wat im sayin! madd ppl on here ad-libbing the song

  • garretts' christmas theme!

  • great classic

  • I always wished I could jump into the TV and live out my days with the peanuts gang in that perfect world Charles Schultz created. Those specials were like cartoon tranquilizers. Pure genius.

  • @crazybirdcreative I'm praying and hoping to get out of Ohio someday soon and live in Santa Rosa, CA. Charles Schulz lived there for years. Merry Christmas 2011 to ya!

  • This song immediately makes me think of Christmas. :)

  • thank God for this song

  • Every time that I think of Christmas, this song comes to mind. Thanks for sharing.

  • Ooooh, there's so much love in here. Merry Christmas 2011 to all!

  • I remeber whatching the peanut gang every year as a kid, and we my sisters and brother look forward to watching charlie brown and his friend. but now it seems that money has gotten in the way of fun, love, and tradition. tears and more tears.

  • Regarding those who are caught up in the materialism pertaining to this time of the year, there are far too many "Charlie Browns" out there. We need more "Linuses!" Christmas is not about "what" --it's about Who (I don't mean the little folks in Dr. Seuss' tale of the Grinch!). Please, try to keep The CHRIST in Christmas! A VERY Merry CHRISTmas 2011 to all!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 Except you're all WRONG! Try studying astronomy instead of thumping your fucking Bible and you'll realize there was NO SUCH STAR in that region of the sky in December. The only thing even remotely noticeable would have been Jupiter - in APRIL! Also, what self-respecting shepherd has sheep out in the middle of winter??? The church co-opted the Pagan festival Saturnalia to keep people praying in fear. Look it up you blind fool!

  • @darksilverdreams we actually dont know when Christ was born. December just happens to be when we chose to celebrate it so you might want to rethink your post there buddy

  • @darksilverdreams I've studied astronomy for a good while. I'm well-aware of the concepts behind the so-called star of Bethlehem. I know all about dates, the "super-nova" theory, as well as planetary alignment regarding the star. I do not "pound" my Bible, nor am I a blind fool. You sound like a rather well-read individual. However, you need to suppress your anger (and to learn some other words to express your frustration). A joyous, happy, and safe CHRISTmas 2011 to you.

  • @mickeymousebiker1 Dude i dont think Christmas is all about Christ, I think its about the spirit of coming together in a merry spirit.

  • @OSXGuy I won't argue the point, but, Christ should come FIRST at Christmas. I get a bit tired of people saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas."

  • @mickeymousebiker1 "Happy Holidays" is usually when you're talking to someone, that you don't know if they're Jewish or not. In my case i find it a little awkward when you say "Merry Christmas", and they say sorry, I'm Jewish... anyway, i'm assuming your Christian, so Merry Christmas my friend!

  • @OSXGuy A Merry Christmas 2011 to you!

  • This is a great soundtrack if you like jazz it's a must buy

  • I hear this a LOT every Nov -- Dec on the radio - but, I never get tired of it. I envision Charlie Brown outside under the stars as he looks for the tree. I can also hear Linus' voice reciting the words from The New Testament about Christ's birth. THAT"S what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown! THANK YOU, FOR THE SWEET VIDEO! A HEAVENLY-GRACED AND JOYOUS CHRISTMAS 2011 TO ALL (INCLUDING MY DARLING AND PRECIOUS WIFE, BARBRA, WHO WENT TO HEAVEN ON NOVEMBER 21/22, 2010). I LOVE YOU, BARBRA!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 A Charlie Brown Christmas, and all of its music, certainly is timeless. I am pleased to hear that you are enjoying the music.

I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved wife, Barbra. May her spirit know everlasting peace forevermore.

    Happy Holidays to you!

  • @ChristmasSpecter A million thanks for your kindhearted words regarding the passing of My Eternal Love -- My Heavenly-Resplendent Wife, Barbra. When Barbra and I first met online, she was living in Santa Rosa, CA (the home of Charles Schulz). Barbra and I were planning on moving back to Santa Rosa, CA, on December 21, 2011. Men make plans and God laughs. I pray and hope that My Barbra can see and hear me (especially when I play the music we enjoyed in this life). I love My Barbra beyond Time!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 I am sorry for your loss, and my heart goes out to you. I know how I would feel if I lost my wife, especially around this time of year. I hope you find some kind of peace with friends and loveones this Christmas. I know your wife would be thinking the same, her spirit is still around you. I will pray for you and your wife, god bless you both.....

  • @celticwolf102 Wow! You've said in a few lines what my so-called "friends" here never bothered to tell me since My Barbra's death in Nov. 2010. I never got an e-mail, or even a phone call from my "pals" here. It's great to know that someone really cares out there! I miss My Heavenly-Resplendent Wife, Barbra, more each day. I love Barbra beyond measure -- beyond Space/Time. Where My Barbra is now, in Heaven, it's Christmas all the time! A God-Graced Christmas 2011 to you and to yours! THANK YOU!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 the reason I was compelled to reply to you is because you speak about the same way I think about my wife, your words made me feel the situation as if I lost my own wife it made me cherish my wife more and feel for you at the same time. I believe that misery loves company, and this is a sensitive time of year to be alone, This would be my sons youtube. Take care of yourself and keep in mind that it doesnt end here, she is waiting, Have a Merry Christmas.

  • @celticwolf102 A LOVE eternal will not be denied! Long before this world turned, The Christ knew we would fall in love with our respective soul-mates (which were, and remain, a gift from Heaven). Those gifts of love (our wives) will never be revoked! There will be no marriage in Heaven, however, our earthly wives/sweethearts will be with us forever in Heaven, where mutual love for each other will never pass away! Be of good cheer, my friend. Our ladies are watching over us!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 a merry christmas coming from chilly Michiga. may your holidays be filled with everlasting joy

  • @BadBrainscirca85 I'm in Ohio. Many thanks. A joyful and hopeful Christmas 2011 to you and yours!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 Sorry to hear that dude! Enjoy the holidays best you can!

  • @Runt2 It's my second Christmas without The Darling of My Life (My Barbra Rose) but, I'll make it through Christmas 2011 with a LOT of help from Heaven. All the VERY best to you and yours during Christmas 2011!

  • @mickeymousebiker1 I always think of Charlie and Linus talking, Lucy saying she waits until January to do the snowflakes

  • @ThankYouPain09 I remember that great line! Lucy is too much the "essentialist." She lacked imagination (unlike Linus). I think that Charles Schulz depicted them as such. A Merry and Hopeful Christmas 2011 to ya!

  • Yeah me to,and I`m from Great Britain and even worse 55yrs old!

Let`s hear it for the soppy buggers!(American translation: Let`s hear it for the soft and gentle folk!)

This would make a good screensaver.

  • @marknew3 Ha! Thanks for the translation.

  • @marknew3 Thanks, firend. I am all to happy to call myself a "soppy bugger" around this time of year :)

  • @marknew3 God bless you all in the UK! A Merry and Hopeful Christmas 2011 to you all!

  • Brings back memories as a kid. I'm 45 now and I still love it!!! Thanks for posting!

  • Merry Christmas everyone.

  • i'm singing this in my chous class :)

  • For some reason, this song reinforces loneliness during the winter.

  • perfect the tv is when they can show these programs to watch with my family love this soo much christmas candys is calling

  • @kim123792 :) agreed.

  • @kim123792 yes

  • @kim123792 Oh yes, I agree! They used to play these every year, on CBS 2 in NYC back in the 80's when I was kid! It truly was a magical time.....the message has sadly gotten very much lost in today's self absorbed, and highly pc time!

  • Thank you.

  • @MrTerrificII You are quite welcome.
