What did you pay out of pocket if anything is it normal to pay like 3ooo or something? right now my surgery is seduculd for september 10 so I can raise more money blah.
I had to pay the hospital $1500 out of pocket the week prior to surgery, and I had to pay probably another $600-800 out of pocket for other tests and doctors' visits throughout the preop period. I think that's probably about average.
I just watched all your videos and wanted to respond at once..I feel your pain when it comes to cigna hell!! i have had to go thru the same process, just got approved last week and waiting on a surgery date. Thanks for being open, helps me because I am anxious and fearful and excited and scared and scared....what is the name of the website that you are on for help?? also intrested in some of those samples you have, I havesnt heard of them. Hey SWEETIE!!! Congrats!! I could NEVER get in that much protien & liquids, even COUNTING the shake at the beginning... You are doing FABULOUS!! I noticed you didnt say anything about the excersize... LOL!! Try to do what you can, it only makes the healing process quicker.... Lots of love!!! Any questions let me know!! God BLess... Hey! I am so excited for you! I just got my first appointment with my Dr. on April 19th. Then they send my stuff to Cigna and I wait. I think now it is more like May/June for surgery. I can't wait to join you on the losing side! Hope the discomfort goes away soon!!!!
Stacie, as long as all of your documentation is in order, you won't have any issues with Cigna. They are just realllllly picky about the documentation. It'll be your surgery day before you know it!

Congrats and welcome to the loser's bench! Hang in there it's going to be a WILD ride. Great job on 55oz of water/liquids. I have never been able to get even that amount down. I'm lucky if I get 40oz a day. Let us know if there is anything we can do for ya! Again, congrats!
