I'm a great adorer of Zakir, however, i couldn't understand y he didn't answer y in spite of such strong and powerful msg of Allah and Muhammad PBUH, there'r lot of sects? y r we divided then? y Islam couldn't keep all of us united? I think the answer is sects r not what we call Hanafi, Shafi or Maliki or even shia or sunni, as they all fulfill primary criteria of being muslem. Sects which will be treated in Jannah (Allah Forbids) r Ahmadi, Qadiyani which totally deviated from the straight path.

1) At 1:10 Zakir Naik said "The rope of Allah is the Quran". He must have assumed & concluded this himself. But as per his own habits, he use to give proves, but carelessly he didn't here.

2) At 1:17, he carelessly added in the Quran "Hold strongly to the rope of God, to the rope of Allah, the Glourious Quran, AND THE SAHIH HADITH, and be not divided". He added "AND THE SAHIH HADITH" into the verse. Careless again.

What you are talking about is, at 1.17 he is trying to explain the meaning of 'Rope of Allah' as Quran and Sahih Hadith.

Moreover, he is a human being and can make mistakes. At 4.07 he says that his words won't carry any weight. He is calling to follow the Quran and Sunnah.

If we agree that the explaination of "Ropeof Allah" = "Quran & Sahih Hadith", then a question arise. What does Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and the Sahaba believed about "Rope of Allah"? Did they also believed the same?

And we should know very clearly that the term "Sahih Hadith" is invented many many years afterwards, so it can definitely be said that this saying is not correct.

This is the reason why I say Zakir Naik chose to use some terms very carelessly in explaining.

I have not come across any Islamic scholar yet who gave a definite direct meaning of "Rope of Allah", but most of them give an indirect meaning. And the meaning from them have differences.

Sahih Hadith is sorted out from all books of Hadiths by different kinds of requirements. Among Islamic scholars, these requirements also have differences & standards.

It is not fair to say and conclude that the Imams didn't have all the hadiths. Specifically this conclusion, so far, is told only by Zakir Naik; accordingly to his own logic. Zakir naik presume this himself; he have not yet give any references to his statement.

I have not come across any other Islamic scholar whom have commented on this saying of the Imams that "Throw my fatwa if it is against Quran & Sunnah".
