  • Terrific. Thanks for the walk-through.

  • @sthompson18 Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks.

Bought the Ideal stripper that you used at Frys for $7.39 delivered ($4.90 + .50 tx + 1.99 shipping)

  • @highhatsize Sweet!

  • Great instructions and ditto "douglaskat" on the audio gain, but my issue (i am a photographer) is the focus on the close-up of your beautiful strip job. I keep waiting for the thing to snap in focus, and it doesn't. I intend to watch more of your videos.

  • @Stupnagel77 Thanks. Yeah, the camera I was using at the time was a POS. I should remake it with the new cam.

  • Nice Done ! Thanx A Million I was Rusty .

  • @justforfun1972 Thanks!

  • Thank you for the Time out of your life to refresh my memory ....

  • @justforfun1972 Thanks for watching!

  • we had a few thousand of the one you use, and after a few months they went to the scrap heap, (to many recall calls, you want a good weather proof and a professional termination use only the silicon compression connecters, (they have a silicon pack in the connector witch pops open when compressed, to make a water tight seal

  • I do not know where you live, but I am in Canada and only use the compression connectors, they are not hard to find, there are many USA supplier that sell many brands as well as styles of the compression connecters, in 50, 100 or 1000 peace packs (we sell them from bulk bins to whoever wants them, per each)from $0.35 t0 $0.60 each depending on brand/style) there weather and water proof as well, unlike the ones you use,

  • @arnoldcustom Yeah, I mostly use those. I have a video of those as well.

  • you really need to redo the audio on this video. it is impossible to hear even with my system sound all the way up, and Youtube's audio all the way up. you can do a voiceover, you don't have to redo the video.

  • audio very down

  • I just had to replace the connector on my TV coax (seem to have a bad connection), using the Radio Shack F-56 crimp connector (to the RG-6 cable). I can never seem to get these on correctly, where the center "tube" tucks under the outer coax cable casing and the outer part of the connecter (that you crimp) fits over the outer coax cable casing before you crimp the connector onto the cable.

The connector always seems to be loose and/or making a bad connection.

    What's the secret ?

  • @airmojo I have found that those Radio Shack connectors are almost impossible to use. I've used them in a pinch and had to replace them a week later. I hate the screw on type but they are a bit better than those RS models..

  • Cool video!

  • @N4tti1ntampa Thanks!

  • Audio is muted from how it was in the original video. Did you change something?

  • @flashcraft No, it was the Creative Vado I was using at the time. It had an audio issue or something. I've since gotten rid of that bad boy!

  • Thanks for the great tutorial, just finished adding a new TV outlet to my house, couldn't have done it without your instructions, just happens that I had all right tools(compression and the stripper) but never really knew how to use them.

  • @nicnac0001 Sweet, glad I could help!

  • i like this a lot better than your last video

and thank you for denouncing screwies!

  • @slcCATVguy LOL.. Thanks! I have a compression one on here as well now.
