  • they look the same to me. I'd just use whichever one is cheaper haha!

    ur daughter is adorable!

  • I agree, the results are pretty much the same

  • Wait hold up did that sweet baby just call you grandma?

  • Question, I really would like to try this product on my 4b hair but does it cause shrinkage?(which I don't want to happen) if this were to occur, how would you prevent the shrinkage from happening? Btw, very beautiful hair!

  • when doing a comparison, use the same leave in.... I believe you will get different results because every product is different.

  • i dead have that same exACT DETANGLING BRUSH THINGY LML

  • What was the other product you use on the kinky & curly side ??

  • they look exactly the same to me!!! you have beautiful hair btw

  • maybe it would have been different if you would have used the same leave in on each side

  • eco styler !

  • is the knot today in a liter bottle bought like that ,or did you just transfer several bottles to that big bottle.Cause im looking at that bottle like where can i find that huge bottle of knot today lol

  • I like the Kinky curly side better :)

  • Kinky Curly is KING!!!!!!!

  • love the video and hair, just one question what is the name of that red "tool" you were using? Thanks

  • Your daughter has the most beautiful hair i've ever seen! NEVER RELAX IT!

  • Aaliyah!!!!!!!! Love that song!

  • the kinky curl is so much better ! aww allayiah r.i.p

  • I've been trying to find videos that actually compared the two...thanks for the upload. The results are so similar that I'm just going to buy the eco styler for less money and have the same results..... But did it leave your hair crunchy??

  • I used kccc for the first time today and I like it but does using it often make ur hair dry? I noticed it gets pretty hard after it dries.. Also... How's the second day hair with Eco styler? Thanks for ur vid! Ganna try Eco after I'm out of kccc since it's waaaaaaaay cheaper!

  • @MsBlackoreanlady makes my hair super dry and makes my scalp dry...i think the mixed chicks was better in my opinion and eco styler gel is bomb bc it doesnt flake or make my scalp itch

  • Thank you soooo much for the demo! I have been twisting my hair for 15 years now, back before all these Great products hit the mainstream market, and I have to say that I am OVERWHELMED by the choices! It's a good thing. So with that said, your half and half experiment let me see results before dropping the dough. I like both sides, Kinky Curly, more defined, and the Eco shows more length, it all depends on the look you want. And your daughter is a SWEETIE PIE and a HALF!

  • Hey, thanks for the great video. I like the KCC better. You and your daughter are absolutely beautiful. I just did the bc and I appreciate all the time you and others have taken to educate me so well. Thank you, and I love my hair now. All 3-4 inches of the kinky stuff.

  • I notice for the Eco Styler you didn't use the red comb. And I'm not sure if you used the Knot today either. But they both came out good. For Eco Styler, I thought it was like holding gel. How much is KCCC and where do you get it from?

  • Ive been looking 4 a vid that compares the 2 the way u did so im really glad i came across urz...I realize that our hair texture may differ but i love the end result of the kccc in ur hair soooooooo i'll def try it!! Ty 4 this vid!

  • I noticed that you didn't use the detangling comb on the Eco Styler Gel and you didn't use the Knot creme either. Now, for me, it's a matter of economics. KCCC costs $16+ for a small jar and you use just as much product as the ESG which for a huge tub costs between $3-4 bucks. So for such similar results my money is on ESG which you can pick up at Walmart instead of KCCC which you have to get from a beauty supply store or order online.

  • i really dont see much of a difference expect that some looks more dry than the other adn the other looks moist.

  • I like the Eco styler side better. The curls seem more loose, which I think made it look nicer. I happen to love Eco styler and recently purchased a 32oz tub @ Sally Beauty Supply for only $2.99. Praise the Lord! I love the results I get with Eco syler. I have no use for KCCC, sorry! Thanks so much for your vid. Beautiful hair! :)

  • Wow your hair looks like you styled it with a crimping iron. Beautiful hair!

  • what kind of brush are u using? pls answer!

  • @Luhhsetty she used a shampoo brush... I brought mine at my local beauty supply store on the same isle as the combs and brushes...... I hope this helps

  • @MsTesac thank you!

  • Your hair is beautiful and i use the eco styler gel i love it but i think ama try kinky curly

  • I loooove how you had that Aaliyah going on in the background....Yes, we need a resolution.....

  • @kronk99 That's EXACTLY what I was thinking when the video came on...lol

  • Comment removed

  • what's the name of the tool you're using to define your curls?

  • Thanks so much for this! I was trying to figure out which one of these two products to try first. My hair is a lot like yours, and since KCCC costs so much more than Eco styler, I'll now head over to Sally to buy the Eco. Really appreciate your vid and you two are really cute :)

  • KCC looks better andd Eco Styler Gel dries it out more I think.

  • Luv ur curls!

  • i luv both but it depends now on price n witch ones more natural

  • She's so cute...and so is ya'll hair.

  • For those of you worried about the hardness with ecostyler, it helps me to use plenty of leave in and a little oil b4 I apply,

  • My hair is just like her and I am mostly black. I just claim black. our hair is very diverse. I use ecostyle gel and love it. Have not tried KCCC yet....its a lot more. i can get a container of eco for .99 cents at this store by my house that can give me at least 5 uses...sooo....sorry KCCC :/

  • she got some beautiful hair lol

  • Great review! God Bless you and the family!!

  • why is this in my recommended videos list?!

  • kinky curly looks non frizzed and the eco looks like waves and a lil frizz but there both cute

  • ur daughter is so presh! :D

  • I LIKE THE ECO STYLER BETTER

  • I would say I'm more of a fan of the kcc side b/c I like more of a tighter curl, & I also like the fact that the product is natural~overall great video & i appreciate u taking the time to make it~be blessed

  • I'm leaning more to the KCCC side but I really don't see much of difference. My quetions are, which one doesn't flake or flake up as much, does either one keeps your hair moisturized, or do you have to have a moiturizer to use these products???? Great vid, it helped a lot thanks!!!

  • are u mixed bcuz ur hair is really pretty and i hav eco styler gel and would love to try this method, but my hair is naturally wavy

  • Are u mixed bcuz ur hair is really pretty

  • I think the KCCC side looked better, I love that stuff and I have 4b/4c hair, so it does work.

  • Where did you purchase the brush you applied the styling products?

  • which one did u like more?

  • They look exactly the same... In fact, in some ways the Eco Styler side looks BETTER than the KCCC side!! And ecostyler is like $4 for a GIANT 16oz jar.. It seems KCCC is just expensive styling gel that takes entirely too much effort to get it to work. I'd rather spend $10 to look awesome than like $60 to look equally awesome.. O_o!!!

  • Exactly how long did it take you to apply both products to your hair??

  • what song is playing??

  • @L0v3M30rHat3Ppl We Need Resolution by Aaliyah at the beginning and Hello by Beyonce while shes doing her hair....

  • it seems the kccc side has tighter curls & the eco side is more loose . I like the kccc side better . & your daughter is TOO ADORABLE

  • very informitive thank you, and your baby girl is adorable : )

  • whats that little comb your using called and where can i get one, anyways, i like the ecostyler better and your hair turned out cute

  • the curls came out very cute and shiney..

  • ti think the kinky curly has way more tighter curls and the eco styler has more straighter then the other side. i think the kinky is going to stay curly longer

  • awesome!! thanks for doing that demonstation=now i know you have to use the the knot in before the custard your daugter is precious

  • Yeah the results are totally similar, but kccc leaves you hair soft after a couple of days and Eco leaves your dry and noodle like.

  • Hahaha, I love the kid.....:-)) And I love your hair tooooooo. Gorgeous!!

  • Hahaha, I love the kid.....:-))

  • How do you maintain the curls, do you repeat the same process all over again or just wrap it up at night and in the morning you're ready to go?

  • @lisa81 did you use the knot today conditioner with the eco styler?

  • kccc

  • from an ole lady trying to stay natural thank you thank you thank you!!!!

  • Im so excited to find someone with a hair type like mine!!!! Im 7 mnts natural and will do the big chop when im at 6 inches. My roots wave up to the same tecture of yours!!! Im so excited because your hair is awesome:) Beautiful! What type is your hair?

  • @TheCrestsmile1922 I have the same type of hair, so I think it's a 3C

  • @chinese971972 Oh okay!! thank you:) you should post your pictures also. I would like to see your hair.

  • It seems like the KCCC side had a little bit more shrinkage than the ECO side, but other than that they are very comparable results. I'm currently a KCCC fan, but I'm going to use InspiredCoils' recipe to make some ECO custard and then I'll try that as well. Thanks for making such a good video...your hair is GORGEOUS!! Much <3

  • this is amazing how one product is so much more cheaper than kkc and they both look the same on your hair it looks very nice

  • The Kinky Curly side looks better because the curles are shinier and more refine. The Eco Styler came close, but it seems to be a little heavier than the KCCC and it does not have the same measure of gloss.

I was hoping the ES came out better b/c that KCCC is TOO DARN EXPENSIVE for what it is, ugh.

    Thanks for posting.

  • You used two different moisturizers on the 2 sides of your hair

    the results are ruined

  • @xX0oDecay How are the results ruined? KCCC is recommended to be used with the KCCC leave-in for the best results. This is a comparison for the best of both.

  • You really can not tell a difference!!! Great video.

  • hmm what happens if you mix the two and add it to your hair?

it seems like the eco makes it stay a bit straighter while as the kinky curly makes it more wavy. would you mind doing a video on mixing the two and trying that out????

  • I've been natural all of my life and I've been DYING to find a hair product that can define my curls. I have used Mane N Tail but its greasy! Is the Eco-Styler sticky or makes hair hard?

  • @Maddygurl12304996 the ECO-STYLER is not sticky at all but yes it will leave your hair hard if you use too much when I first eco-styler in FEBRURARY it keep making hair but later when I started buying olive oil and leave in conditioners my hair was softer afterwards.

  • i realised that you already have natrually curly hair. Now does this cream work for people with natrually straight hair?? because I do and i can never seem to get my rel hair that curly

  • @Sylvia023 Curl defining products ONLY enhance and accentuate the NATURAL pattern. Those with STRAIGHT VIRGIN strands would be more successful with heat application/styling, chemical services or "wet /dry sets" in order to achieve waves/spirals/curls. You can of course use these products for hold (updos, etc) Kinky Curly doesn't have as much hold as the average gel has but if you don't have a natural curl pattern, KCCC will suffice (reason being: your hair isn't as resistant to product)

  • I think the kccc worked better, the eco styler made the curls look flat and wavy vs full and round. But for $30? WELL. I can't really allow that kind of indulgence plus I have 4a hair so I dont really shingle. Eco style would be good enouhg for slicking. Thanks for the review!

  • you used a little pink comb/brush thing to clear through your hair. what is that? is that a simpler version of a tangle teezer brush?

  • @MissBriiSocialite I've seen those at Sallys near there brushes

  • @MissBriiSocialite shes using a shampoo brush. it's like a dollar at ur local B.S.S.

  • @MoufAlmighty : thanks for that. though i wont be combing through my hair whilst it has shampoo in it i might just purchase this for a similar style to this :)

  • Thank you for that review, so this means that more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better...

  • What is that you are using to clear your hair?

  • Omg I promise you're like my semi-hair-time lol! I say 'semi' because the way you're hair is in the front is the way mine is all over my head!

    Anyways, great video. Lol

  • Love it..so the next time i do my hair i will use the eco styler (since this is the only thing i have at home..and its wayyyyyy cheaper)..im a high school student so i aint got all da money to afford all that stuff...so this e'll be ma next hair style. :)

Thank you so much i needed your vid!..keep doin wat your doing much love!

    -Debbie

  • that is so pretty.....i havent did the curly yet.......im looking forward to this summer....

  • Your hair is beautiful. KCCC and Eco Styler do look the same, but I'm a little partial to KCCC.

  • NICE VID

  • i hate kccc.....eco is turning out t not be so great with my hair too....i usually just dnt use product except leave in cantu shea buter.

  • i loved it on my hair my curls were amazing ..its works good on afro hair too

  • Ohmygosh. I finally found someone with my hair texture when its curly !!! omg.

  • @NiKKiBSEXCii i ment when its wet, !

  • i think kccc is better

  • i luv d eco styler gel better then kcccc

  • (Cont;)... However, generally KCCC will be a better choice for those with 3C-4B hair. Those with 3A-3B hair (like this woman) can use whichever product they want with the same results. Those with curls 2C and under will benefit more from the Eco styler and regular mouse., and NOT KCCC. This should be taken as a general guidline, but you have to see what works best for YOUR hair.

  • @gggrinz... in your opinion...

  • @gggrinz her hair is actually around the 3c 4b texture 3a n 3b would be more of a caucaisan curl

  • @vaniitiibchiicka Yes I am agree with you. It's a 3c I have exactly the same type

  • HERE IS THE DECISION BETWEEN THE TWO IN A NUT SHELL...... If you want more product for cheaper with no cares of what harsh synthetic chemicals you're saturating your hair with, purchase the Eco styler. If you want a product with no harsh chemicals that is 90-99% natural and don't mind paying more, purchase KCCC. THAT'S IT! Do keep in mind that they worked the same for this woman, however they WILL NOT work the same for everyone since everyone has different hair................ (to be cont')

  • @gggrinz they worked diffrent slitly the eco hand a little friiz and the kccc defined her hand more witch is why it was a litlle shorter than the other side

  • The KCCC looks shinier and the curls seem more enhanced to me. I've tried the ecostyler (olive oil and clear). The Olive oil seems to work better with a bit of curl enhancing smoothie, but I don't think lasting results compare to one another, in my opinion (with my personal experience).

  • @CCNYCA Agreed, It's just that KCCC is so darn expensive..I would probablly try to find something to mix with it to achieve the missing gloss..

  • @TantraGal KCCC lasts me 2 full months and I get 3-4 day hair each time I use it. While I did initially feel it was expensive and I was afraid of buy it, it has been the best investment I've ever made. In Jan. I will have used KCCC for an entire year. If you're looking for a gloss to mix with your eco, I might recommend doing an olive oil treatment prior. Sometimes that makes a world of a difference with certain products.

  • @CCNYCA OMG thanx for the advice! I guess I just should invest in the KCCC one time since all around it has gotten awesome reviews and also for me the + they got over the ES is that their ingredients are more natural. Once again thank you and Im loving ur Channel! :)

  • Ur right it looks absolutely the same... And I know ladies that spend a whole lot of money on KCCC and by looking at this vid, they should just use the Eco w/OO!! Very helpful, as I was considering ordering the KCCC.

  • All you lovely youtube ladies make me fall in love with my hair all over again. I can finally accept it for what it it; BEAUTIFUL

  • thanks for this. I prefer Herbal Essences totally twisted. I want you to make more videos!

  • Does it work like that on thicker hair

  • does the KCCC harden ur hair? cuz I currently use the eco but if KCCC doesn't get has hard as eco does I will cetainly switch to KCCC.

  • Comment removed

  • @tope2 Kinky hair can harden your hair if you used too much. You'll just have to learn to use the right amount, then your hair will be soft. If your hair does harden, kinky curly has a gloss pomade that can soften it up. I've used it and it works great.

  • Thank you! For the price--Eco is worth a try! That is the cuties book. Ariel is my babies favorite pricess!

  • I have tightly coiled 3c/41 hair, can anybody with tightly coiled hair tell me if i can expect to have hang time like hers??lol, its shoulder length straightened but when curly it shrinks up....a lot. o an extra* i made a big ecostyler order so i should be gettting a couple jars in a few days lol.

  • @foxylilmimi You are going to get that defintion but you aren't going to see that much elongation. Sometimes I swear that is a big old product myth. I will say though so far for elongation KCCC and Long Aid Curl Activator Gel with Aloe Vera Extra-Dry. I am trying the Eco now and it is drying crunchier than I'm used to but the curls are popping like a----

    I have 4b hair.

  • i love ur hair texture, ugh cant wait til mine gets that long but mine is tightly coiled so im wondering if ill ever have it hang like that u know, (to anybody with tightly coiled hair)

  • @foxylilmimi i know how u feel. my hair is tightly coiled. probably like yours. but honestly when you get some length in there, it'll lay nice and curly.

  • The red thing is a called a shampoo comb. It can me find @ many hair supplier

  • beautifulllllllll

  • What is she using to comb her hair?? The red thing... I need one of those.

  • Kinky curly to me but no matter what your hair is very pretty and also you have a beautiful daughter she looks just like you :)

  • at the beginning of the video that red brush that you used to brush out your curls what is that brush called?

  • kccc is just a little bit more defined than the eco

  • Although very similar the Kinky Curly side looks better to me too.

  • is the kinky curly custard a miss jessies product?? and did the eco styler side feel a lot harder since it was gel?

  • I love the Kinky Curly side it seems to give more curl...

  • I like the eco side but I LOVE the kinky curly side...thanks for the review...you have helped me more than you know lol :)

  • lol @ 1:10 you started singing where I always start lol that was too funny :)

  • May I ask which one did you pefer between the two and which product lasted longer for you?

  • Thanks so much for this comparison. I have both products and I guess I'm not doing it right because I'm convinced I don't like kinky curly. Your daughter is the cutest. Her hair is lush. lol. Tell me, with Kinky curly did your hair feel like it had product on it?

  • Your video is very informative and your hair is really cute...Your daughter is so cute love her hair

  • We have EXACTLY the same hair. My dad said I get my hair from the indian side of me, Navaho. Are you by any chance indian?

    P.S. I love my hair

  • awww ur daughter is soo pretty...and your hair is nice..it looks like we have the same type hair..same length also mayb urs a lil fuler and an inch longer..love it *subscribe*

  • does anyone wanna comment on her hair??

  • @bbnne1 One last thing. Rumor and propaganda do NOT equal truth.

  • @bbnne1 technically when you add religion to an argument "truth" becomes iffy. If you dont believe in god then satan doesnt exist either. Just saying, theres more truth in the phsyical than the spiritual.

  • @bbnne1 I think you just over analyzed common sense. Not everyone makes it in the music industry with pure talent, but some do. Satan has nothing to do with the industry. Thats like saying satan is the cause of christianity. Money on the other hand is a better argument. But this discussion has no buisness on this video!

  • @bbnne1 what? does this have to do with the "illuminati" thing i keep hearing about?

  • beyonces voice is so irritating.

  • @ashleyhasOJD lmao, I thought I was the only one

  • iduno. I think i like the KCCC. It looks to have a bit more shine. Either way, your hair is beautiful.

  • u were brushing ur hair with a shampoo brush? where did u get it from?

  • I love when i can get similiar results. it looks like the curls were more longated on the eco side but i love both results on you. thanks! that's good you have a choice between a longer look or shorter look. great vid!

  • I love when i can get similiar results. it looks like the curls were more longated on the eco side but i both results on you. thanks! that's good you have a choice between a longer look or shorter look. great vid!

  • :o you and your daughter look like twins!

    also very beautiful!

  • I think this is the best comparison of the eco and kccc that i've seen so thank you for being unbiased. Thanks this really help me.

  • Will you stick with the KC or go with the cheaper ES?

  • I think I found my hair twin LOL thank you for the video!

  • she's so adorable!

  • the eco styler side looks a little looser. but both sides look great

  • Yes, they look very similar with the exception that the Eco gel makes your curls a little looser, but other than that, no real difference. Thanks for the video. I think I want to try the Eco gel now, the KCC costs too much lol.

  • Thanks for the video. Im about to try the Eco styler gel. But does it have to be the clear one. The one I found was the dark gel. Guess I will have to go back out and try to find the one you used in this video. Thanks again!!!

  • The Kinky Curly Custard looks firmer than the ECO styler Gel. Your daughter is a doll.

  • I want that hair brush diva!!!!!! Taklk to me...where do i get it?

  • What is your hair type?

  • @jrh685 Are you sure your hair is "NAPPY"? Nappy hair can't really hold a curl at all and it usually comes out in a puffy mess. I've looked at your channel and if that's you, your hair is more of a 4B-4C texture than a 5A or below. When dealing with Type 5s, you usually need heat or some heavy duty curl activators for it to work, since usually Type 5s are coarse types.

  • @Dark0Malkavian I didn't hair type 5 exist.
