She stopped the Video twice to tell me who she thought it was any why. Both times she stopped on Minzy and said, She is obviously the best singer. Maknae Minzy, needs a solo song. People love her voice.
Min Ji has a great potential. A great dancer, and now, her voice is getting great. More opportunities will be give ner the moment she will be of legal age.

Ya'll be crazy. Just because Dara has a small voice it doesn't mean she's having difficulty singing. Because she is surrounded by three very strong singers, of course she'll look weak but its not like she can't hold the tune or anything. Unfortunately because her voice is so small I don't think she'll ever take center stage, but her voice is still very beautiful regardless.

@9BubbleTea4 Dara's in the group because even though she lacked natural talent (like most of us), she worked REALLY REALLY hard and has improved greatly. Even Teddy (YG producer)said that out of all the girls, she's the strongest and exceeded his expectations. Plus, think about it this way: all the other three girls have really strong overwhelming ( beautiful) voices, Dara's there as the neutralizer, the fresh, sweet voice. Guys at this point members are popular. They all have a niche that people love them for. Minzy and CL look prettier due to style changes. Minzy and Dara knew YG since 2004.These 2 along with Tae Yang and G-Dragon are the longest in YG.(except for se7en, 1tym, gummy, etc...) Back then in 2005, Bom and Dara were supposed to be a trio with Goo Hye Sun, an actress and a good friend of Dara. CL and Minzy were supposed to be a duo or solo artist. YG has changed his mind and that's how 2ne1 became 4.
My bias is Bom, and I adoreee Minzy(cause she has way more talent then she gets credit for.) And of course no person can deny CL is very well rounded in singing and "swag" and just being a great leader. But poor Dara, that girl clearly tries to stand out and works very hard. I feel bad for her, cause as you saw how hard it was for her to hit those notes. Seem's most just take her for just some pretty face. I hope she gets more chances to prove herself soon. :(
Bom maybe have the most power voice and CL has the swag and stuff, but i think in this acoustic i think Minzy has the most stable voice which is nice to listen to.
GOD. i'm not a real fan of the K-Pop fandom, usually hearing auto-tuned and vocoded dance songs everywhere. but i never knew their actual voices are great. they should release some more acoustic songs with these kind of voices. very powerful, heartbreaking. from someone who doesn't listen to a lot of Korean songs.... CL and Minzy are the most talented totally, Minzy is the best dancer, CL the best rapper. And both are better singers than Bom especially CL, Bom's voice is unique, strong and beautiful, but when you listen to 2NE1 songs and even her solos you'll see that she doesn't have many variations, sometimes it seems that she's always in the same note and in the same tone, I've never seem Bom or Minzy using head voice like CL did here.
@LenAmaranthe False, Bom has better technique, power, and range than CL does. She doesn't have much variation, but Bom can hit an e6 note-wise clean and a shaky 7 while CL can only, on her good days, hit an e5 clearly.
Learn vocals before you decide to judge them on it.

I love Bom's voice though, it's very unique and emotional and can make me cry. <3 Bom has great potential, I just think CL/Minzy are more skilled singers. YG should put some effort into training her more and polishing that beautiful potential.

@Vphone1 blackjacks and yg don't only consider her as the 'dancer'. everyone knows she has a great voice. when it comes to titles, minzy is the main dancer, she is also a vocalist too.

@Vphone1 actually you're wrong when you say she was the first member to be casted. bom was first, dara second, if you were a true fan, it would have been dara, bom and another yg solo act as 2ne1, it would've been a trio. but yg saw cl's rapping and minzy's dancing and later casted them to be the final 2ne1.

@tonton1993 You're right, what I mean it's Minzy was the first person to be casted in YG. Minzy and Dara knew YG since 2004.These 2 along with Tae Yang and G-Dragon are the longest in YG.(except for se7en, 1tym, gummy, etc...) Back then in 2005, Bom and Dara were supposed to be a trio with Goo Hye Sun, an actress and a good friend of Dara. CL and Minzy were supposed to be a duo or solo artist. YG has changed his mind and that's how 2ne1 became 4.

My bias is Bom, and I adoreee Minzy(cause she has way more talent then she gets credit for.) And of course no person can deny CL is very well rounded in singing and "swag" and just being a great leader. But poor Dara, that girl clearly tries to stand out and works very hard. I feel bad for her, cause as you saw how hard it was for her to hit those notes. Seem's most just take her for just some pretty face. I hope she gets more chances to prove herself soon. :(

GOD. i'm not a real fan of the K-Pop fandom, usually hearing auto-tuned and vocoded dance songs everywhere. but i never knew their actual voices are great. they should release some more acoustic songs with these kind of voices. very powerful, heartbreaking. from someone who doesn't listen to a lot of Korean songs.... THIS IS FUCKING GREAT. :D

Amazing. They can all sing so well, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite. Usually in any group there will be a weak link or one who just doesn't quite fit but these girls are all just so good and fit so well together.

CL and Minzy are the most talented totally, Minzy is the best dancer, CL the best rapper. And both are better singers than Bom especially CL, Bom's voice is unique, strong and beautiful, but when you listen to 2NE1 songs and even her solos you'll see that she doesn't have many variations, sometimes it seems that she's always in the same note and in the same tone, I've never seem Bom or Minzy using head voice like CL did here.

@LenAmaranthe False, Bom has better technique, power, and range than CL does. She doesn't have much variation, but Bom can hit an e6 note-wise clean and a shaky 7 while CL can only, on her good days, hit an e5 clearly.
Learn vocals before you decide to judge them on it.

You said yourself that Bom doesn't have many variations and it was exactly what I was talking about. A large vocal range isn't what make someone a good singer or not, the most important thing is to know how to use ur voice within ur limits, and that's exactly what CL does. Ask ur teacher and try to learn some manners before you decide to live in society.

@LenAmaranthe CL can sing, there's no doubt, but her voice is nasally and monotone, and half the time her "singing" is yelling loudly on the mic. CL needs her credit where it's due, and that's in her rapping. She's one of the best rappers that Kpop has to offer of this generation, I'm not really sure why'd you want to strip that in an attempt to give her adulations on her strained vocals.

The range of their voices has nothing to do with screaming ability you dimwit. It's how their body and diaphragm can bounce the voice into a more ranged area, thus being more stable and a BETTER VOCALIST. I never even said anything to with with the other members. @LovableLittleRabbit And it isn't about CL or BOM, in 4Minute for example, i think JiYoon is a better singer than Gayoon, she definitely has the largest vocal range in the group, but sometimes, when she starts screaming, TO ME her voice sounds just too strident and it's annoying. It's a matter of opinion, you want to defend your bias, and now started to diminish CL, grow up! My opinion is different from yours, that's all. No need to fight or to diminish CL, Minzy or Dara.

@LovableLittleRabbit Generally I think CL/Minzy have more consistency than Bom when they're actually *singing*. CL usually ends up shouting in *talk-sing* parts. I love Bom's voice though, it's very unique and emotional and can make me cry. <3 Bom has great potential, I just think CL/Minzy are more skilled singers. YG should put some effort into training her more and polishing that beautiful potential.
