  • WTF WERE THOSE TEAMMATES DOING AT THE START? That was the dumbest driving I have EVER seen! On the other hand..Viso is SUPER lucky! So are those marshalls.

  • He was an inch away from having his head crushed and literally pasted down the length of a concrete barrier.

  • @skeletorphd Check out Marco Campos' fatal crash. That's pretty much what happened to him.

  • what a Crash.

    And a Lucky Driver.

  • 0:53 ohhh shit!

  • i bet those two flag marshalls had to change their underwear after this.

  • We may bitch about the fact that the new FIA standard steel fences have ruined the view of so many traditional race tracks (e.g. the Nordschleife), but with these fences the accidents of Viso here or of Carvalho in Brands Hatch would have turned out different. I think these fences are a necessary evil. even if they cannot save every driver, they can at least save the track marshalls.

  • A guy say: Wow Sheeet!!

  • Magny Cours needs a revamp, Marco Campos was killed in a similar crash beauase his head hit the low wall, they need to get rid of those dangerous low walls!!

  • I saw this in live...

  • omg!!!!!!!!

  • coño viso espero que estes bien pana.. animo que en venezuela te queremos.. dale duro a la f1 pana suerte

    De venezuela para el mundo

  • è solo culo che nessuno se fatto male

  • What was most incredible was how well the monocoque was able to recieve the impact. Sure it's nearly broken in two, but that absorbed most of the impact and thus allowed Ernesto to have less Gs hit his body. My greatest admiration goes out to the work that the FIA have done in recent years to driver safety on the cars. Special mention goes to Dallar for the building of the cars. If you saw the car, you will understand why.

  • Viso was very lucky here...and not only Viso, one of the Marshalls jumped away just in time as viso came flying past him, als if viso was unlucky to hit the wall upside down a meter forward his head would mostprobably have been crushed between the concrete top and the car's weight. Lucky Lucky but indeed very good Engineering, without he'd surely be dead.

  • Why is there crash fence? It's a bit similar to what happened to Kubica in Montreal

  • este fue mucho peor maricon de mierda nojoda a ver si comparas bn los accidentes venezuela lo mejor

  • you guys need to turn that airfoil upside down if you want to get any lift

  • Amazing he survived? This is primarily due to outstanding engineering, and design.

  • Viso was VERY lucky, same thing happened at the same circuit a few years ago (back in the F3000 days), the car was launched over the concrete wall and the driver's head was crushed as the car was upside down. Killed instantly

  • Yeah, Marco Campos. Came up on the angle of the wall and hit it head on (to anyone not familiar with the crash). Viso hasn't even broken any bones.

  • You'd think the rollbar behind the driver provides some sort of protection, but in situations like that there's absolutely no chance

    Racing will always be dangerous

  • campos wasn't killed instantly he died the next day in hospital (RIP)

  • @ksz01 Wooofff but this was an horribly accident, his tyre hit him and after he bumped with the guardrail...se salvo ese chamo de pura chimba :S

  • the cockpit was mainly intact fortunately that could have be fatal
