@Kin632 Actually, I think Dan missed a payload on it. Netsky also mass-mails itself, displays some derogatory messages about the creators of the Mydoom and Bagle worms, and actually will attempt to delete Bagle if it finds it on the computer.

I just thought of something Dan. I don't know if this would be too advanced for you, but could you demonstrate a RAT? (Remote Access Trojan)

It would require two people to do this. Do you know someone with good hacking skills? If so, put the RAT on your machine and let him fuck with it.

I've had one on my machine before. The hacker had complete control of my system for a minute but I quickly got wise to it and unplugged my modem. LOL.

Actually, I've been in the process of acquiring 2-3 more computers, in order to test Network worms. As for Remote Access Trojans, I have had my eye on a Windows 95/98 RAT, known as Back Orifice. I'll be able to test it when I get the computers hooked up to a LAN network. Thanks for the idea, I didn't know anyone wanted to see one.

Yes, I've heard of Back Orifice. It's one of the most commonly used RATs, along with SubSeven.

And just a little FYI, RAT actually stands for Remote Administration Tool. That's what I meant to say. I knew that all along.

They aren't always used for hacking purposes. In fact, the company I work for has a few network administrators that use them.

However, many hackers do abuse these programs and use them with malicious intent. :-(

Yes, it is true that companies and schools that operate on a network use these utilities to monitor employees/students, but there have also been tools created solely as a hacking tool, such as NetBus, which I might also try.

There are tons of sites online where you can get the source code for these viruses. Just download the source code and a compiler and you'll have yourself a virus.
