  • The horn is either a Nathan KS-1 or a Wabco A-2 (Not E-2, they are way deeper sounding)

  • Anyone else hear the truck peeling out at 3:40?

  • Nice SP locomotive, like the CR too

  • damm these are good lash-ups

  • I love it!!can someone tell me what horn is tht on the cn at crossing??(the one horn part)??

  • A Rare Load at 5:23

  • 5535 has a great sounding horn!

  • this has to be one of the best railfanning spots in the Midwest. I will have to visit there one day.

Say, does anybody know anything about the "security" of that area? A lot of places I've been told to go with at least one friend.

  • @ronthecyborg pretty decent area i must say

  • Great location there. I want to go check that out, if i had time. I live in Maryland, that would be quite a drive to go to Illinois. Are there a hell of an amout of trains coming thorugh there? Looks like it. Cool video though, it puts mine to shame. LOL. Just joking man, but your videos are better than mine, what kind of camera you have?

  • the IHB still runs??? OMFG i didnt know

  • Excellent video and location, as always Frank.

  • My god, those ****** at NS ruined 8320's horn. What is that, a P5?

  • anyone know how many trains go through here a day

  • Outstanding video, Thanks Frank!

  • you didnt know the UP acquired them nearly 13 years ago? and havent you heard of the SP heritage unit?

  • so?!

  • well, that means theyre a fallen flag cuz they were nearly wiped off the face of the earth with DRGW

  • That 7:07pm transfer run may have a -2 pulling it, but I think it is a GP40P-2. Did you noticed the 45-like registers and the squared of rear-end?

  • I feel bad for that old CHessie hopper at 5:39

  • Me too. I still see a few in use, but rarely. Nice videos!!

  • Lots of kickass skies here, nice job with this vid.

  • that last shot takes it, AMAZING on this one. keep oit up

  • Haha! Sam D is my brother! Also great catches!

  • HAHA, I remember the UP train!

  • Great vids!!

  • These orange locomotives tagged as "Harbor" have particular horns. I like how they sound.

  • If your talking about their SW1500s, I believe they use Wabco E2s.

  • Another amazing video as always! Keep them coming!

  • more great action at Blue Island

  • nice job!

  • your right CSX does push the units i dont know if youve heard of Washington Cut in Massachusetts ive seen a 100+ car fully loaded auto rack blowing smoke about 20 miles away from there because of the force it took at the cut

  • I havn't shot Washington Cut in about 5 years now, but I've shot just about everywhere else on that hill (except Twin Ledges and the Art Colony), but yea, if you wanna hear shit ROAR...go to the Hill. My favorite place to fan hands down.

  • the only thing is that traffic has gone down so low its amazing if you can catch 5 trains

  • Nice one Frank, that was a really good day. Also, IHB 4010 is a GP40P-2, and CSX 5355 has a fouled out K5LA

  • Man your missing all the action up here in Michigan....I mean Train Festival 2009 has been at it's best for the past 3 days. Look on my channel for the top 5 moments of the day at the Festival from yesterday....more videos will come

  • *I think* CN #5629 is a SD70I. And that Harbor, I don't know what that is LOL.

  • CN 5629 is a SD75I, and that IHB #1508 is an SW1500

  • Frank man, where have you been? LOL, nice video/location.
