  • How do you put mods on Ps3

  • @26SimD You don't.

  • @dsc1115 I assumed everyone would run it with an administrator account. I forgot to mention that step. Thanks.

  • I keep on getting an error in everything that I do..

  • @dead1984 Can you be more specific?

  • @Leogansky The message i keep on getting is "Unhandled exception has occured in your application. Is you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close"

  • @dead1984 Can you send me a printscreen of it? And please describe the steps you made in order to have the error appear.

  • how do i have more than 1 costume?

when i download files, all of them are 01.cos.emz

  • @2buck4dH8rz Don't worry, just import them using the SF4CMM interface (don't copy them directly over your SF4 directories!), and assign each one a different name.

  • @Leogansky yeh i imported the costumes into the mod manager and i named them. so how do i access them in the game. i did that cycle key thing. but all it says is original costume 1 and original alternate.

  • @2buck4dH8rz Well, you have two options. A, you can use alt-tab in-game before selecting your character to access the SF4CMM window, and apply manually the costume to the character that you're going to pick using the SF4CMM program, then use alt-tab again to return back to SF4 and select that same character. B, in-game, you need to use the specific character cycle key in order to cycle through the costumes of a specific character, and then click the apply key, and then select the char in-game.

  • when i download the mods, its a rar file. what do i do?

  • @2buck4dH8rz It depends on the internal structure of the rar file. Read the read-me file for more details.

  • thx a lot for this!! :D

what is the difference between .cos and .col files?

  • @NoLimitAction .cos = costume files. Each costume has 10 colors, in the game. There are two costumes per character in the original game.

.col = color files, represent each color to be applied to a costume.

  • @Leogansky Thanks... good to know ;)

and how can I change the slotnumber? sorry that i ask so many questions XD

  • @NoLimitAction You can't. SF4CMM always applies mods to color 1 in the game.

  • I cannot activate any costumes in the pre- alpha 2 version please help.

  • @omar22nader Can you describe what you've done in detail so I can help?

  • Wait a sec. If you can make a costume that replaces the original outfit, couldn't you make it an alternate costume i.e. alternate number 2?

  • @chris20855 Yes, the original costume can be treated as another regular alternate costume.

  • how can i use the same character but different costumes? sorry for bad english

  • @RoyEmpleo Read the included readme.txt file.

  • @Leogansky when i use the same character for player one and player two, player two is just black or sometimes white.

  • @RoyEmpleo That's because each color uses an associated costume texture. In the game there are two costume files (normal and alternate) for each of the 10 available colors, but each color requires the respective costume file to be applied. If you try to apply a color to the wrong costume file, the char will go black or white. Apply the costume mods using SF4CMM for both player 1 AND player 2, and you'll be fine.

  • I now need to reinstall SF4CMM cause I've got a GAMING cpu.

  • When i try to add the voice name/add skin. the option is blocked.

  • @SAMBHU01 What is blocked? The textbox or the button?

  • You need to do a new tutorial with the new version i got lost and always get the invalid name when i try to add the name, and some mods are just 1 color not alternate.

  • @SAMBHU01 I don't need to do anything.

  • how i put the original alternate costume, without any mod???

  • @DDL999 The alternate costumes are already installed, and SF4CMM will have both the normal and the alternate costume in the costumes list. Just select the alternate costume and click "apply", like you would any costume mod.

  • @Leogansky I've done this....but the texture of the characters are completely black, sometimes white

  • @DDL999 That can only mean the original files are not the "original" ones anymore... Try reinstalling the game to see if that continues to happen. You probably manipulated some files manually...

  • Is there a laptop that can run SF4 or only PC?

  • @Ermac211 Of course there is, lots of them. A laptop is also a PC.

  • it keeps saying its a invalid name when i try

  • Help! When I download the .zip and unzip it, everything is fine but the .exe file which seems corrupted. I have an error message when unzipping it and then the .exe does not work.

  • It worked perfectly for about a day and today, for no reason, it keep saying access to tempfile.emz was denied. I enabled "run as administrator", install framework 4.0, I'm using Win7 and tried changing the compatibility but still no use... What else should I do?

  • That's strange. Something changed in the permissions of your file system. Try emptying your Temp directory.

  • i got a question. When i download viper's skin, it doesnt work. The file is "AGL_02_01.col.emz" and "AGL_02.cos.emz". Wat is the proper color for this?

  • If there is nothing wrong with that skin, you'll need to first import the costume file "AGL_02.cos.emz", give it a name (let's say "new_viper_costume"). Next, import the color file "AGL_02_01.col.emz", and associate it with the "new_viper_costume", and you should be good to go.

  • Does anyone now if there's any character size mods for SF4?

I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to accomplish would it?

It would be funny to see mini characters vs giant sized characters. XD

  • I think you would have to modify the skeleton file of the char for that, but I'm not sure if it would work.

  • can I use this on LIVE?

  • sure;)

  • dude i solved my problem but thanx for all of this

  • No prob. Glad it's working now;)

  • i apply a col.emz file n

    after clicking read file info

but when i write colour file name in step 4 it says invalid file discription

what should i do need help plzzz..

  • You'll have to explain better what is happening. Describe with as much detail as possible, so I can help you.

  • this cant e done on consoles?

  • Unfortunately no, because we cannot access the game's files like in the PC version.

  • i cannot post anymore on your 2nd tutorial so check my last question there plz!

i meant, to hack the orig dlc the 1 u c on the consoles and now for pc ,the 1 u must buy with alternate and original costumes options(maybe ure program does that but it's not identical to what i am refering)i wonder why that dlc hasn't been cracked yet !!!???

  • Already replied it on part 2 of the tutorial;)

  • oh so you are leogansky from gfwl.

We've played some matches, I'm TheNewSiah.

  • Indeed, I am! TheNewSiah, the great Balrog, right?

  • v0.7 pre-alpha 2 is out, with global random costume selection.

  • The thing I downloaded, your 'tool' is different than it is on your tutorial, I dnt know what to do xD

  • The tool has evolved since the video, so there are things that are placed elsewhere visually, but the basic functionality is still the same. When I have the time, I'll do another tutorial with the latest version.

  • Plus, I got SFIV off Steam, does that make a diff?

  • If the directory structure is the same, it won't make any difference. I haven't tested it, though. As a fix (if it doesn't work), you can always download the ISO from SF4 PC retail, and then install it using your steam CD key. That's what I did, and it's perfectly legal.

  • Looking good. Keep it up.

Im currently making some hacks for the game.

Hopefully I can get some interesting ones, But so far things arent going to well.

  • What kind of hacks are you developing?

  • Well first im going to put the basic hacks

God Mode Unlimited Super Unlimited Ultra

Then some fun hacks, Not sure what Im going to put in for now, but ill get there.

    Ill do unlockers last

If anything else comes up ill put it in.

  • Unlockers and trainers already exist. I still prefer the Cheat Engine method to unlock everything, because I can select what I want to unlock in detail (see my other video, there is a video response for the trainer, and Kennykilla from SRK already made an automated unlocker).

Those hacks (God mode, etc.) are already done (or they appear to be, since I haven't used the tool). Will you be adding new hacks to the current ones?

  • I can make the trainer so you can select which item you wish to unlock. That would take a bit more effort though.

Also, alot of people have no clue when it comes to cheatengine, even if you give them direct instructions.

Many people do make trainers. But theres also alot of competition with trainers.

Yes I will be adding new hacks to the current ones. Most of the time I see no point into making a trainer if someone has already made one, But If I can make one that.. -character count limit-

  • Back to where I was

If I can make a trainer that the user enjoys more than the others, then my goal is complete.

But since Street Fighter is a popular game and Im only one person, probably trainer making teams are going to make mine look like nothing. lol

  • Looking forward to your trainer;) Give it your best shot!

  • Great I posted a comment but its not here. Let me try to shorten it.

  • Does this work in online ? what i mean is that other players can see the costume i unlocked?

Great stuff so far, gj m8 :)

  • This is not a costume unlocker, this is a costume mod manager, for you to be able to use costumes homemade by other SF4 users.

For unlocking original costumes, check my other video.

Regarding your question about online play: no, the other person won't see your modded costume, unless them too have it applied.

  • I might be dumb but this is complicated

  • Simpler than managing a library of 200+ costume mods with "copy-paste" methods.

  • Just released v0.7 pre-alpha of SF4CMM (now named Custom Mod Manager). This is mainly to address the Vega Mod bug.

  • Sweet :) Keep up the good work :D

  • Thanks;)

  • Just released v0.6d. Check it out;)

  • it's awesome!! But i would make a suggestion: the program makes backup files of the original costumes, my problem is that its making them in the c drive. And i think it would be usefull if i could chose a path to where to save the backups, because i don't have much free space in C. (sorry for bad english)

  • Well, that is a good suggestion;) I'll add it to the TODO list for the next version;)

  • v0.6c is out. Minor bugs fixed with preview pics.

  • v0.6 is out! Now it's possible to make VS battles between two modded costumes of the same character, using the alternate costume slot. (View readme for more details)

  • v0.6a addresses a few bugs that users encountered in v0.6:P Go get it;)

  • And now v0.6b corrects two minor bugs. You probably didn't even noticed them;)

  • Just released v0.5a, adding bulk import and export functions.

  • New version with lots of improvements: v0.5. Enjoy;)

  • sweeeet, a modmanager.

  • Enjoy;)

  • In the character files do we assume the Japanese names for M.Bison(Vega) Balrog (M.Bison) and Vega (Balrog)?

  • Yes.

  • Think I finally resolved the memory leakage problem. v0.4a is out;)

  • Make that v0.4;) I've added preliminary modded-VFX support and preview jpeg images.

  • IMPORTANT: this version is NOT COMPATIBLE with older versions! Please make sure your Chara dir is in its original form!

  • New SF4CMM update => v0.3a

  • How are the instructions different with the steam version of SFIV?

  • I haven't tested it with the Steam version, but it should work.

Anyway, if it doesn't, you can always install the retail version (get it from a torrent) using your Steam key. Perfectly legal, and that's what I have done;)

  • Updated the video description with direct links to the required stuff. It's easier this way;)

  • Finished annotations for part 2;) Enjoy;)

  • Annotations for part 1 done;) Now for part 2...

  • those are some pretty annoying system sounds, bro =P

  • lol, I know, I know. Next time, I'll fill it in with some BGM or something;)

  • Thanks for this Leogansky!

  • You're welcome;) Enjoy;)

  • can you upload a HQ video, vid is quite blurry

  • I'll look into that once I have the time;)

  • Missing Annotations. Will do them in a couple of hours.
