  • @4:25 Jeff Littleton trying to hold back a "damn this is bad-ass" smile.

  • Happy Birthday Herbie....71 years young on April 12th.

  • Jeff Littleton is massive! What a supporting line! On of the best interpretations of this song that I ever heard. Thank you, Bob Jazz!

  • A shame about the sound... ruins the whole thing...

  • Wow!! It's difficult to avoid using expletives here but that was FAN(bloody)TASTIC!!!!

  • first time i've heard pich-bending on an acoustic piano :D

  • man... settin Herbie down in front of 88 ivories is like setting a kid down in a candy shop.

and Herbs the candy-man. he can blend them all together and make some sweet flavors to blow your mind

  • Ohh man guys, 1:51, that part is so increidible.... pff almost forgot that Herbie used to make incredibly good jazz in those days. I don't know why, but don't really like his new quintet, maybe because of Vinnie.. Well thanks for posting!! This is really great stuff...

  • Best herbie i've ever heard !

Someone HAVE TO fix this vhs sound problem !

  • Oh, wow.

  • They lock in beautifully on this. Herbies grooves are amazing.

  • Was this synced from a cassette? or VHS? Someone could take this up and fix it up nicely, this is amazing stuff right here.

  • If you liked this, I recommend you buy his live cd with Jeff Littleton on bass, and Gene Jackson on drums in New York...

It blows me away everytime I hear it..

Cd is called: ''Herbie Hancock Trio Live in New York'' ciao

  • so nice, so great, so everything

  • Great! Is there a CD recording of this version?

  • one of the best videos on youtube.

    thanks

  • the 1:50 mark!!! Go HERB!!!! ahaha!

  • Incredible Herbie ! Who else can groove that way ? Gene Jackson is also an incredible drummer, I think he should be more famous. His way of drummin' is realy interesting. Never seen so less movement for so much power.

Anyway this video is great, thanks for posting.
