  • All passenger and crew survive ? THAT PILOT DESERVED A MEDAL !

  • good that we have pilots like that i am proud to be polish

  • @3rdGenEtix Next time check how to write "Polak / Polakiem" in english before you leave a post.

  • @sebzimalina its "fly like an eagle, land like a crow you" idiot

  • That Pilot's surname is Wrona (Wrona means Crow in Polish) and it quickly became a phenomena to say ''Fly like a Crow, land like an Eagle'' ;)

  • That's some scarry shit and the funny thing is that i actually used that airline to fly from Warsaw to Chicago once i might reconsider flying with them next time. No hart feelings Cap. Wrona.

  • you forgot your wheels

  • Bravo Pilots!!!

Some landings with the working gears do not look as smooth, as your's without...

  • The pilot landed beautifully. Well done to the Piolot!

  • Hats off to the pilot. A real hero.

  • Consideration has to be given to weather and winds and the lack of tires to cushion impact.. Foam eases the slide but the touchdown margin of impact between aircraft body and runway is an unsurpassed master call of calculation. Superb control, marvelous skill and magnificent steel of emotion.

  • The band Decapitated was there!!! o_o

  • Great job by the pilot! Great work!

  • love how everyone is running out as if it were gonna blow up

  • Good work by the Capt, frame's a total loss, though.

  • it wasnt from new york. it was from Newark NEW JERSEY.

  • Where did they bury the survivors??

  • LIKE A BOSS!!!

  • This is our national hero

  • Tekkers.

  • @wet8pussy *Sigh* Why do you always have to hate? There is no Polish shit being built people could fly on, so they fly on American shit and European shit. Apart from that, that guy landing the Airbus (European shit, btw) in the Hudson (American river with maybe some shit) was a great pilot. As was this guy landing the American shit on Polish airport (with some shit on the runway). Stop hating. There's crap everywhere, and people owe their lives to these pilots. Period. That said, great landing!!

  • hats of to PILOTS!!

  • Thank God nobody died or got injured!

  • Thank God nobody died or got injured!

  • nice landing, looking forward to see the reports on this one!!

  • ...... and you can't compare this to Hudson River at all, completely different scenarios, i agree with the person below.

  • Job well done by the piolots, got everyone safely back to the ground without injury. Yeah bellies up landing can be routine, but it still requires a lot of skill from the pilots, there are factors that can go wrong, even the most experience pilots will tell you that. Seems time were on their side to an extent, jetterson the fuel is standard procedure to reduce the risk of fire, fortunately they had time to prepare, and they did that spot on. Hats off to them.

  • An incredible piece of airmanship by the pilot. And not forgetting the fire crews who acted fast to coat the runway with fire retardant before the aircraft landed, and were on the scene within seconds of landing.

  • Would you license this work under a free license? Is the work allowed to be used on the English Wikipedia?

  • Perfect landing!!!!!!

  • thank's God we have no a pentagone in Warsaw.

  • I want that pilot on my next flight.

  • i hate flying

  • @barbus2012 Get lost.

  • @AmericanAirlinesRule where too?

  • i hate flying

  • I want to know what idiot disliked this video lol. Some satanist that wanted to see everyone crash and burn? Like honestly haha. Even if that's what the one moron wanted, the landing is still impressive . .

  • Lika a BOSS!

  • And you thought nails on a chalkboard were bad!?

  • Best Pilot!

  • @CanNibble

    go to avherald(dot)com

  • look close and you will see that this is not Boeing. This is FUCKING AIR BUS!

  • @Kazakhstan12345 Yeah, no, you need to look closer. Its a B767-300 chief

  • @Kazakhstan12345

what r u talking about? This airline does not have any air buses!!!

  • @Kazakhstan12345 lol I hope that was a troll

  • @Kazakhstan12345 Yeah.... you're pretty wrong on that dude

  • The scratches will buff out

  • that reminds me something recent

  • slip n slide

  • Amazing. I never thought a 767 or any twin engine jet could land on solid ground without landing gear.

  • @specwrite Well, I imagine theres a good layer of Foam on the runway, they usually do that so the jet has a softer touchdown. I'm not 100% on this in this scenario, though.

  • Makes the great argument to pay these guys - not all computerized and easy!

  • The pilot has had the good idea to land on the track and not in the grass...

  • @Focoraredji the runway has been foamed

  • The captain's last name means "Crow" in Polish, so some people started saying "Fly like an eagle (meaning Polish White Eagle), Land like a Crow!".

  • I was on this exact aircraft (SP-LPC) multiple times. What a great landing!

For a video of a gear-down landing of the same aircraft :), check out my channel.

  • OMG

  • Just fantastic to watch. Amazing flying skill and balance. I bet it might have even felt normal inside the cabin (apart from the added noise/smoke/sparks) lol.

  • better than that pilot who landed on rudson!

  • @DanDauzacker Incomparable!! if you meant Hudson River!

This landing was prepared to minimize risk of catastrophe. Foamed runway to ease the slide of the plane. Foam with silicone/Teflon element to reduce the risk of fire from sparks, friction.

Hudson pilot had few minutes and decided to go on water as there was no other option.

This pilot waited to use all of the fuel.

Either way well done to pilot. Skill, bravery and calmness. Hats down to any pilot ,that saves more than 1 passenger.

  • @Mahartinba The runway was not foamed, please check your facts before you post. Also, please land a 767 without gear down, as seen here.

  • @virtualaircanada2458 The runway was clearly foamed; you can see it easily on the multiple videos. What are you smoking?

  • @kurttappe Could I see your ATPL and your ROC-A, please?

  • @virtualaircanada2458 THANKS for pointing that out. Checked with a PRO and it wasn't used .Thank you.

  • @Mahartinba lol you're right! And i'm sorry for write "Rudson" xD I'm Brazilian and I wrote like the local phonetic.!! xDD

  • @Mahartinba UPDATE ...NO FOAM USED .

  • FOAM was used, it can be seen on other video reports

  • A 200 Tonne hovercraft. Brilliant. !!!!!!!

  • my god

  • Very excellent aircraft attitude for a 'belly-up' landing! Well done!

  • Lataj jak orzeł , ląduje jak Wrona.

  • What an outstanding job! Wow. That pilot is a hero!

  • @deltagoldflyer *those pilots

  • Great job!!!

  • Excellent teamwork by the pilot and co-pilot of the LOT airlines. This kind of controlled landing is what I would expect from a highly experienced pilot. Nice Job and great work by the emergency crews foaming the runway and ensuring no fire would engulf the aircraft!

  • Ill be drinkin 2 beers tonight, 1 for me and 1 for the pilot! ;)

  • Congrats to the LOT crew for a very safe landing and to the ground crews! If this was an Air France crew no telling how the ending would be and I wouldn't want to think about it either LOL

  • Quem sabe pousar com rodas, tb sabe fazê-lo sem...

  • polish pilots are amazing glider pilots, put the two together and you get an amazing crash landing !

  • Congratulations to LOT and congratulations to Boeing! World-class piloting and world class construction. It's amazing to see how well the plane handled the landing.

  • Great job !

  • If I didn't know better, I would have thought the undercarriage was still there!

  • Proud to be Polish!!! Amazing landing =D

  • @CanNibble The pilot is Tadeusz Wrona...Hes a pilot for 20 years.People said the landing was good and they thought in the last seconds the wheels finally worked. In _90_ seconds everyone was out of the airplane. There were 231 ppl.NOW on news they are saying * It was a little scared..But u didnt feel there werent wheels* And now theres a vute older person that 66 saying * It wasnt that bad*...The pilot didnt panic and Im like ....*Life or death* Thats all I know for now :D

  • Im proud that Im Polish and we have great pilots.....Im glad no ones hurt..They knew if something went wrong they'd die in tredegy

  • The pilot's name is Tadeusz Wrona

  • Dobrze, że nikomu się nic nie stało. Bardzo współczuje pasażerom oraz gratuluję Pilotom. W Austrii w radiu i telewizji bardzo pozytywnie o Was mówią;-)

    Pozdrawiam

  • Fantastic job by the pilots! better than a landing with gears!

  • 1001 things can go wrong in this scenario and only 1 can go right, landing with no loss of life.. Excellent landing

  • Blessed.

  • brawo!

  • It's very good job! I'm admire the wprk of the pilots!

  • awesome landing! Congratulations to the pilots :)

  • Gratulacje dla calej zalogi i wszystkich zabezpieczajacych na ziemi.

Najlepsze ci sie moglo zdarzyc w takiej sytuacji.

    Dzieki.

  • Great landing thumbs up for the pilot !

  • slip n slide!

  • Saves on brake wear!

  • Not bad.....That's what the pilots are paid for though. Would expect nothing less than that result for a professional flight crew. Well done.....

  • viihde.foorumi.eu

  • Wonder how many of the passengers needed a change of underwear?

  • I bet everyone was clapping HARD after THAT landing! Good job to the Pilots!

  • That's a Boeing way to land an aircraft. Even free fall of the gears didnt work..

  • Great job pilots and Boeing engineers!!!!!

  • good

  • all is well, and this is important

  • @CanNibblethis is my question as well, both normal and alternate failed in all 3 gears?...weird...

i ask as an ex 747 crew

  • Apparently captain had like 15.000 hours of flying experience...

Must have beeen like "F*ck Yes! Finally something to do!" when that gear failed. ;)

    Just kiddin. Great job!

  • The pilot and the co-pilot surely deserves a medal, this is best-case-scenario at its best!

  • Wspaniałe lądowanie, gratulacje dla pilota!

  • NOW LETS WAIT FOR PASSENGER VIDEOS TO UPLOAD...HE HE

  • @flyingxk waitin for it :D

  • 11/10!

  • Masterpiece of flying! No doubt but uh... pilots actually train so hard to do exactly this. If you think about it... Most of the time they don't learn how to fly they learn how to save the souls when the plane fucks up

  • Excellent landing

  • polish pilots are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice job, well done LOT pilots.

  • Indeed, top notch!

  • Aside from no landing gear, a picture perfect landing...

  • captain Tadeusz Wrona and captain Jerzy Szwarc! Congratulations Gentlemen!

  • LOT does not own 767, but leases and operates them.

  • Great Job! Verry good Pilots and good Job Boeing for building such a good aircraft what could resist such an impact.

In my opinion those pilots are heros like the Pilot who did the hudson river ditch. :-)

    Awesome Landing!

  • Congratulations to Boeing too.

  • Congratulations to the Pilots, the cabin crew and the firemen on ground!

  • if i was on this plane i would really sit calmy because its a boeing plane... :D

it it was an airbus i would really freak out... ahahha... i dont like airbus.. xD

  • @KenKyousuKe yeah, if it was a french plane it would have blown up.

  • @punchy001 ahahahha... right... :D

  • LOT ... Landet och Tempelhof ... ja, die guten alten Zeiten :D

    Fantastische Arbeit des Piloten!

  • warum werden die leute nassgespritzt wenn sie aus dem flugzeug kommen?

  • wow

  • Oustanding job by the entire crew! Kudos to LOT's training programs.

  • Mr. pilot! u have a perfect CV now, which airline you want to work at? :D

  • mad skills !

  • Congratulations to the pilot for an excellent landing with landing gear.

  • Boeing 767.

  • Good pilot.

  • Готовили для Бжезинского.

  • Great job!! Smoother than most pilots land without failed gear :D

  • @ringbuchblock95 indeed!!!! great job by crew

  • @ringbuchblock95

You MUST land that smooth without the landing gear! A smooth landing (with landing gear down) with a wet runway isn't so good...

  • Felicitaciones a la tripulacion en general, en especial a los pilotos.......

  • Wow cool man

  • Kudos to the pilot Awesome landing.
