I use these and yes, there is a lot of pain and sensitivity if you don't take a break from applying the strips. And I would never wear these at work! lol Usually I apply them at night before bed.

Honestly, I prefer teeth like you've got, because the extremely white teeth does not look natural anymore. Your teeth just look very healthy yet not 'overly bleached', which is a good thing! :)

If ur gum breaks out, the trick is aloe vera. The bleach messes with ur gum, putting aloe vera on it helps.

@worth401 you cant replace teeth, and dealing with permanent sensitivity due to enamel erosion for the sake of saving some money is ridiculous. Rather go to a dentist and have it done properly than ruin my teeth for the rest of my life. 400 dollars is totally replaceable and the fact that teeth whitening is so commonplace now it shouldn't cost as much as everyone is trying to get the best deals for their customers. If it costs 400 for a dentist to do it, there is a good reason for it.

Youre not supposed to put the strip onto your gum, so your crest whitestrip shouldnt have made any contact or at least extremely minimal contact with your gum. Thats probably why you got sores on your gums.

@XxDARKMASKxX I have used crest white strips and I have gum between my teeth, the worst that happens is they go a little white for an hour, I also said, "Minimal contact" with the gum. I am aware that there are small segments of gum between teeth as I have actually got teeth.Ive found though, that my strips seem to sit just above where they would have touched my gums except at the front two.

Whiteners are NOT good for your teeth at all. your going to make your teeth more sensitive, it takes of your enamel & its going to start problems for you later on. Just to let you know & everyone who wants to use this. The only way you will get a whiter smile is if you brush your teeth regularly, dont smoke, drink coffee or anything that will stain your teeth. & if that doesnt work, then that means your natural teeth color is what you have in your mouth.

The Crest PROFESSIONAL Whitening strips are not meant for first time users. I wanted to try it too because every one raves about them but since it was going to be my first time, I went ahead with the Crest Advanced Whitening. It kind of worked but I still felt the sensitivity.

Actually the strongest whitestrips are Crest Supreme. You can't get it in any store only online or at your dentists. I used them and boy, did they make my teeth hollywood white!

I tried the white strips and the zoom at my dentists, he said that using peroxide agents for prolong time is gonna cause damage in my enamel , he suggested that I should just brush my teeth twice a day , and if possible after every meal, or use a mouthwash. So I do that and I've seen results , maybe they're not pearly white, but I prefer that , than hurting my enamel and my gums.
