Chaiya reminds me of Regular Sport Muay thai with a "tai chi" midset, of constantly flowing/guarding/ and attacking all at the same time. And not to mention those crazy angle for leg kicks. impressive stuff
Hey Antonio, i know this might be a dumb question but do you think i could learn Chaiya on my own? B/c i can do at least some of the the Chaiya moves and stances... but idk if i could learn on my own
It's probably a lot better to learn from a teacher but Kru Nathan Brown has a channel on youtube with all of the exercises on it, so you could take a look at that.

You got it. exactly right. some people say it looks like sport muay thai, but then with tai chi and wierd leg angles...yeah, that is chaiya
