When I first heard Laura...I didn't understand how someone could convey this kind of beauty...this passion in me....this complete love......and my friends were all rock and rollers...and then I realized they loved her too...and we used to think she was sacred...that she was holy.....and she became our diva, our cornerstone....how we judged all other music.....
This amazing song bookends one of the greatest albums ever!! When I bought this three months ago I didn't appreciate it anywhere near as much as the other early Nyro albums. Now it's one of my favorites. It's just stunning!!
yes, thanks for posting, was going to upload this myself but am hopeless at computers and couldn't do it! I would also greatly appreciate brown earth. CIMS is one of many laura masterpieces but I always find it especilally moving.
Another breathtakingly gorgeous and moving Laura song. Thanks RBdR37 xxx. Can you manage to put up "Brown Earth"? It's the best song I've ever heard, so I reckon there will be many who've never heard it yet who would love it too.

I first heard this in 1970. Just as relevant and on target today, maybe more so.
This has been an anthem for me ever since.
Now the time HAS come to fight, young braves and young children.
