Ironically this is one of the best speeches of her life.
I find it moving to see Margaret Thatcher who was a very polirizing figure in european history that peaceful, nice and caring.
Her friendship with Ronald Reagan must have been real and far beyond politics.

Lady Thatcher and President Reagan represent the height of America's incredible story that took only 200 years to build. The admiration of so many British people toward this incredible man isn't any different than that of tens of millions of American's who saw in Ronald Reagan the very essence of what allowed the United States to become the beacon of the world. The world owes these two a huge amount of gratitude in helping steer us back from the wayward path of the 60s and 70s.

And like Bush, Reagan was a war criminal. He mined foreign harbors and gave military and financial aid to Saddam Hussein when he was gassing the Kurds! He also gave military aid (in violation of Congress' wishes) to right wing death squads in El Salvador and the Contras in Nicaragua.
