As far as the Illuminati creating the church, there is no proof that that is true. The "churchs'" format was in place many times before Catholicism and basic philosophy was basically perfected before that. I think it was probably more of a natural progression. Like educated people taking advantage of non educated people. Which has probably happened forever.

I personally believe Christianity came with the inquisition (the full start of it anyways), I believe history has been changed to some degree.
