for being 69, hes still sumwhat handsome. obviously he was adorable in the black and white phase of cameras, but, everyone ages. also, he looks more like late 40s, early 50s, not late 60s!!!!!

hes got a youthful exhuberance that you wouldnt think a beatles member would have in the year 2008. considering that he made records with the beatles from the early 60s onwards, he doesnt even look ready to kick the bucket.

its sort of akward, the brilliant drummer that i used to swoon over in his early 20's black and white glory is now the brilliant drummer I aspire to be as good as in his not so attractive but certainly brilliant glory in HD color.

If you know anything about drumming, you have to respect Ringo Starr. Certain cliches are hard to dispell, but Ringo remains way up there.

I've been a drummer since 1963, and Ringo is still the greatest drummer of all time (along with Buddy Rich). They're both #1. My opinion.

i agree in every way buddy has more prowess but ringo is unlike any drummer and he has influenced so many people including me. im only sixteen but i've never wanted to be like any drummer but ringo.

The two greatest drummers of all time: Buddy Rich and Ringo. Equals, not in "chops" (Buddy wins this), but in effectiveness and influence. "I want a drummer who plays like Ringo" is heard by more session drummers than anyone.
