In Kinnikuman, Terryman is the american representative of the western part of the U.S, Specialman for the northern, geronimo for the eastern if im not mistaken, Pentagon im not sure what part he is from :/ but I believe they each represent a part of the u.s.

I thought it was more like;

Terryman = American Cowboy type

Specialman = American Footballplayer

Geronimo = Native American

As for Pentagon, I think he's American Patriotism. (Since he had this intro with all the fighter jets) But to be honest, Pentagon could just as well have been from Andorra really.

original it was Terryman for the South of America and Specialman for the North before Geronimo and Pentagon even appeared. The Running gag originally was that everyone just said Terryman was the US rep and just ignored Specialman which pissed em off only for him to be beaten everytime someone appeared

Cool Move but for heaven's sake..the should have changed his name for western markets, I mean seriously Specialman...that sounds like a mascot for Carlos Mencia's De-de-Duh jokes. Then again, the name probably was alot cooler in the late 60's 70's before 'special' became a a polite euphamism for 'Retarded'.
